  • kick easy

  • Im fat and I do b-kick here :D watch?v=ieAe6g-MYEU

  • this guy is probly a master by now :D

  • You look like a turtle

  • Sorry but that is not a butterfly kick that is a butterfly layout.

  • 8 year old video wow :DD

  • there was no kick

  • butterfly kicks r useless and stupid

  • It sucks, that is not a kick, i see nothing in his move..

  • @twikie258 i couldnt agree more. should b called useless spin

  • easy.

  • @contents1231 no way! no hand cart wheel not easy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @145superjimmy This is a butterfly kick. lol

  • Okay, i back up a tiny bit or step in and counter. Completely useless attack sorry to break it to you, train in something practical

  • @MonkeYxBoxeR not even that lol, if he actually made contact with something he'd land on his face

  • dont you think if this kick ever connected you would end up falling flat on your face?

  • is this actually useful in self defense or is it more for show

  • @Ethan098766 eehhhh more for the show butttttttttt if you do that and bring your first leg back and do a side axe kick then that will be deadly IF done right or else you will get hurt in either knee or your hip joint i wont recomend it lol. Just a thought

  • disable comments, pls

  • *adopts Yoda voice* Pain leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate... Leads to suffering... Bitches is this really the place to hold your historical pissing contest??

  • I'm putting my money down on Iaf7773.

  • good job :)

  • Regardless of if this technique is useful in a fight the guy is trying. Not everyone studies the martial arts to learn how to fight. Iado-ka and Kenjutsu-ka do train with the intention of protecting themselves in a sword fight. For some, especially in TMA, it's a hobby of sorts. This guy studies Tae Kwon Do yet he's trying techniques from Wushu, he's branching out. It's a good thing and helps you to understand your own art. Good job guy...keep pushing.

  • shit..

  • lame as crap

  • this only worked when Darth Maul did it

  • awesome, any tips how to learn to do it? xD

    looks friggin badass!

  • Comment removed

  • ballet;

  • This is pretty cool. And sice it is from 5 years ago, I'm sure he is even better than this! At least he has the guts to do the Butterfly Kick! And congrats on being a Black Belt!

  • funnnnnnny

  • japanese kid learning kung fu?

    haha!!!!!!!!!

    dishonor

  • @TheReaITooney..... why would you assume he's japanese? and even if he was or is it dosent mean it's a dishonor, some people in this world are open minded.

  • @pain123naru Actually in Asia it is, to modern day America it doesn't matter. But yes, if you are an asian learning another art from another asian culture it's like a subtle betrayal. It's not really admitted but it's a dishonor and shameful. Kind of like how it's legal to cheat on someone but it's known to be looked down on. But actually another person said he's Japanese so I rolled with that.

  • @TheReaITooney that was then though, so instead of pointing that out, you should watch his video, he's so talented theirs not enough room for shame.... their's nothing wrong with learning new things. like can you do that? think of the practice things take, he had the chance to learn from a kung fu master i'm pretty sure he would take that chance,, so live by your own rules.

  • @pain123naru Actually it isn't jus then it's now. IF you didn't know that, research more. A LOT more

  • @TheReaITooney ok,, i kinda got that, but my point is that no 1 cares what YOU think, if you have a BIG problem with his video then DONT watch it, it's not that hard.. like you said that it is in asia,, he lives in United States!!! holy.. and have you ever watched The Legend Of Bruce Lee before? he is chinese Learning kung fu, karate, thai chi, and boxing and many more,, and his people still look up to him in the martial arts world, and that was way back then. im not saying it's not true though.

  • @pain123naru You think this is what I think? it's asians who say it. I'm reporting it. LOL

  • @TheReaITooney "thats sooo cool" so what if they say it you don't have to spay it PERIOD!

  • @pain123naru Actually I can "spay" it all I want. deal with it bitch

  • @TheReaITooney kool story bro :D

    P.S i laughed when i read that

  • @pain123naru you mad bro?

  • @TheReaITooney hell no , ok we should stop the argument, cuz it's kinda getting old, agree?

  • @pain123naru Ok

    but it's still a dishonor :D

  • @TheReaITooney life is what you make out of it, you can make it a dishonor, but still to me it's not a dishonor, and it seems like a 25 year old is still immature. now that's a dishonor, well have fun in life being a sore loser, not being able to learn any other martial art, but what can i say YOU'RE choice. :D No comment after this...

  • @pain123naru To other asians it is. no one cares what you think. majority and them > you

  • @TheReaITooney yo, you just don't see it! dude look all over youtube, i see many different asian races learning all kinds of martial arts including this one. so i think it's the other way around smart ass, alot of my friends are asian and they learn alot of different martial arts, this also happens in asia now a days. ScReW ThEm HaTeRs!! ......................... THEM > you. oh and uh have you're ballz dropped yet?? I THINK NOT, cuz it dose not seem like you can drop anything.

  • @pain123naru you mad bro?

    youtube.com/watch?v=aamVU14r-JY

  • @TheReaITooney is that what u say when you don't know what to say?? just stfu already, now what ever you say in the future because ik you wont stfu cuz you can't drop anything""""" i won't respond, so have a fun life i can careless of what you say because you r lame...

and the url leads to nowhere...

  • @pain123naru yeah you mad

  • @TheReaITooney Betrayal? Have you ever been to any Asian country? Have you ever studied martial arts? You do realize that "Japanese Karate" originated in Okinawa which at the time was a separate country. That Okinawa Karate was adapted in part on Chinese fighting systems. Korean Tae Kwon Do is HEAVILY influenced by Okinawa Karate also. Even Chinese arts are believed to have been influenced by India. So how exactly is it that it's considered a betrayal in Asia to study another countries art?

  • @laf7773 You do realize the only reason Okinawa learned other martial arts from other countries was in an attempt to rebel against Japan taking them over. That's it. Even if you don't find karate to be a Japanese based martial art, they did in fact create arts such as Judo and Ju jutsu which they challenge other countries too

Also Karate was so modified it's a different art in itself. This is why they use it in martial art vs martial art. It's not a political betrayal but a moral & personal 1

  • @TheReaITooney Again...have you ever been to ANY Asian country? There is NO sense of moral or personal "betrayal" for training in an art from another country. I'm well aware of Japanese based arts, i've only been in the martial arts for 30 years and having been to Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China several times over the last 14 years i can safely tell you that you don't know what your talking about.

  • @laf7773 Yes I have. Have you? You seem like you got yours from TV shows

  • @laf7773 Saying you did something isn't actually evidence

  • @TheReaITooney No it's not but the complete ignorance of your statements is evidence that you don't know what your talking about. But for the sake of argument i joined the Navy in '97 and was stationed on the USS Bunker Hill home ported in Yokosuka, Japan. During my 4 deployments in 5.5 years on the Bunker Hill and the Uss Constellation i visited Hong Kong and Singapore several times and took a nice 2 day tour into China while in Hong kong. Saying it isn't proof... But i can prove it

  • @laf7773 I have my DD214, photos of me over seas....you on the other hand obviously haven't been anywhere and have no idea what your talking about.

  • @laf7773 Your anger on the internet shows you're mad you're wrong.

  • @TheReaITooney How am I angry? It's a cute trick to try and divert attention from your comments by trying to tear down someone else's. The simple fact is you can't back up your statements with any kind of fact what so ever. I on the other hand can prove everything i've stated. Why is that? because you don't know what your talking about because you have never been overseas. Instead you are trying to tear down my credibility when you should be making your point and backing up your word with proof.

  • @laf7773 Long replies don't make your conclusion right

  • @TheReaITooney Neither does avoiding the topic.

  • @TheReaITooney hi, im an asian, and i would like to say that you have no idea what you are talking about... asians do not consider it a dishonor to learn another asian country's martial arts, so you should probably shut up now @laf7773 you deserve 1000 internet points :D

  • @djDynastyz Go look up Chosun ninja and see.

  • @djDynastyz Shut up, I actualy agree with TheRealTooney

Asians hate each other. If you don't know that you're white wash

  • @laf7773 BAKUGANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • @laf7773 The real tooney is right. You're fail.

  • @theownerest How is that? Because i'm telling the truth and can actually prove it? Good luck with that genius.

  • @laf7773 Shut up and take your ownage like a man

  • @theownerest Ownage? Really? How exactly was i "owned" in anything? Feel free to elaborate unless you're just another idiot who only wants to talk shit. Feel free to try again when you get an IQ.

  • @laf7773 At your entire argument. It's laughable

  • @theownerest Exactly as i thought. You're only here to talk shit. Nothing more than a troll. Have fun being an idiot, not like you know any better.

  • @laf7773 No just to point out your ownage.

  • @theownerest You're an idiot

  • @laf7773 You're mad.

  • @theownerest No just stating the obvious.

  • @laf7773 yeah you mad

  • @theownerest Why would i be mad? You're the one making an ass of yourself and showing your ignorance. Have fun being stupid.

  • @laf7773 you're mad cause you cant take your ownage like a man

  • @theownerest Seriously, you're making an ass out of yourself. "ownage"? Really? What are you? 14? Get a job and move out of your mom's basement already. It's about time to stop feeding the troll.

  • @laf7773 *yawn* Troll harder

  • @laf7773 I hate you white people who act asan

    youtube.com/user/veryproudasian

  • @haIashet Who is trying to act Asian?

  • @laf7773 you are now stop it

    youtube.com/user/veryproudasian

  • @haIashet How exactly am i trying to act asian? Because i've been there? Because i've trained in the martial arts? You're an idiot. I was only there because my job took me there and i hate to tell you this but the martial arts are hardley exclusive to asia.

  • @laf7773 damn...! you know so little of your dirty history., and since when did i state that asians are alike huh? im only racist towards people who are racist! you white people come here to our country and be arrogant and insult our land and our people. your kind massaccred us and pretended nothing had happened, what the hell do you expect us to feel about it huh? at last my hatred towards white people has some roots,.

  • @haIashet First off i'm not racist but you obviously are. I never said anything about all asians being alike. But i'll bite...how exactly has my "kind" "massaccred" asians? What instances exactly are you refering to? If you're talking about Hiroshima and Nagasaki then yes that was horrible...but so was Pearl Harbor. I know my history very well, you're barking up the wrong tree you racist troll. But tell me. Do you only hate Americans or ALL white people?

  • @laf7773 You killed more people than asians have. Japan apologized and made amends. You didn't. You like to omit to these key facts

  • @haIashet Anger & hatred are fueled by ignorance. You need an education. Japan was allies with Germany and Italy during WW2. The US wasn't even involved in the war till Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. So the "white people" you hate so much were also your allies in the war. Yes the bombing of Japan was horrible but it was war and horrible things happen during war. The problem is you have a hatred for the US, not just white people. So educate yourself before you make an ass out of yourself.

  • @haIashet There were approximately 2 million Japanese killed in WW2. BUT there were 27 million Russians, 6.25 millian Polish, 5.7 million Germans killed during that same war...and guess what...they are all WHITE PEOPLE you idiot. Over 6 million Jews died in WW2 at the hands of the Japanese ALLIES Germany. Again what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a horrible thing but try and keep your racist facts in order. Last thing, what does this have to do with me trying to act asian? Nothing idiot.

  • @haIashet There is also the fact that Douglas McArthur (white person) helped prevent Hirohito from being tried as a war criminal. The Japanese killed more than 30 million Filipinos, Malays, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Indonesians and Burmese with 23 million of them being Chinese. So tell me again how "white people" killed more asians? You need to look at your own history. WW2 cost the lives of millions. Japan has yet to appologize to the asian countries it occupied and slautered.

  • @haIashet There's also the little issue of the Japanese occupation of Korea at that same time. It's hard to tell which was worse at the time, Japan or Germany. Both mass slautered 20-30 million people, mostly civilians (women and children included). But i don't hold any ill will toward either country as a whole today because they didn't take part. We should never forget the events of the past but to hold people of the present responsible is stupid and pointless.

  • @laf7773 No it's pretty responsible to hold it toward you when you do it today

did you NOT see the link I gave you? Or were you being another block headed westerner where you denied evidence?

  • @haIashet You mean the link to the loser who has removed his account because he's not what he claims to be? Yes i did look and there was no "evidence" there proving anything other than he's a racist. I notice you've changed your profile so no one can see your friends too. You're an idiot.

  • @laf7773 he didn't remove his account. It's still there youtube.com/user/VeryProudAsian

typical westerner always lying so they can cop out

  • Good but it won't work in a real fight

  • Comment removed

  • cool! It looks like you set it really slowly with the stepthrough and the kick still looks good even though you didnt start with much momentum :D

  • least he has the balls to do it.

  • That's EASY and still he sucks!!!

  • The Butterfly Kick was not made for defeatin enemeys..

It was made for jumping over them if you are in the worst case senario, just watch Wushu guys how high there doing there Butterfly kicks. They can easily "fly" over the enemys with there butterfly kick. Really sad that people are thinking that Martial Arts Kicks are only made for hitting a enemy.. by the way Komainu nice kick^^

  • Park Ji Sung the great :P

  • people gotta start somewhere

  • the butterfly kick is so hard to do it dosnt look tht hard but it is trust me

  • this is shit

  • awww yay! I just sarted tryint to learn these today!!

  • @KooLBrez3 just a joke, very nice tutorial!

  • Good work

  • Butterfly kicks r definitely one of the easier kicks to get down

  • You are now a black belt, but yet you are stupid.

  • @estudiosima why say that?

  • @estudiosima whats your problem?

  • Belts are there to keep your pants up, not to show off you're skills

  • @Jennifeer247 I think my Sensi told my class that samething.

  • 4 years now

  • Do you guys really think warriors don't use tricks? Maybe all of you should study more of martial arts history. All moves have some form of application, that's why they were invented. Well i guess none of you would expect this in a fight, so that is what someone would try to change the dynamics of the fight in thier favor.

  • Butterfly kick can be useful in a fight (beside Holding weapons) if your really good at it

  • @Kadenuchiha No it doesn't. I'm sure both the guy in the video and real fighters know this. Fancy but it's effect would be the same as using an acrobatic move to hit somebody. This is for show. Everyone knows that. The best fighters in the WORLD know that

  • @Ieafs1319 Not only the best fighters in the WORLD know that.

  • @Drimond2 the best fighters in the world know this shit doesn't work

  • if this is 3 years ago you must be kick arse now !

  • haters hater haters, this move does work in a fight, if you know how to use it, which most people dont, ur actually supposed to hit a hook kick at the end but most people just let their bodys swing out.. strait vid tho

  • @Komainu: don't worry. People will talk smack anyway. For what it's worth, I think this vid is great and I wonder what your skills are like now! Props to you for posting it. All those people hating on you don't have the courage to post vids of their own (lack of) skills

  • all you dicks saying that it cant be used in a fight should just grow up and appreciated the hard work this guy needed to do it.

  • Wow, this was 3 years ago and i'm being hated on. Its not a move for fighting. I actually learned this move from a Kung Fu Master a long time ago. The applications aren't very useful unless your holding a weapon which is actually really easy to do.

I was a purple belt back then, but now I'm a black belt.

  • @Komainu belts dont mean nothing

  • @Komainu just butterfly kick the haters in the head.

  • @Komainu You did this at purple belt?! Shit, I'm a black belt and can't do this

I take TaeKwonDo though, so we don't learn the butterfly kick until like 2nd or 3rd Degree. Props

  • @TKOG1220 butterfly kicks aren't difficult at all -.- neither are butterfly twists...

  • @Komainu I personally think that your mind state has something to do with the way you fight. And fancy fighting has always worked for me. Its an intimidation thing, people don't like to mess with skilled people.

  • @Komainu Haters gonna hate. Also, I agree that the butterfly kick is not something you want to just throw out there whenever you feel like trying to hit someone with it but I disagree that its applications are limited to weapon use. It is a valid, decent kick, and the people commenting here who think it's not because it's too "acrobatic" probably haven't been body-slammed lately. You hit someone with your whole body's mass involved, it's going to hurt them.

  • @Komainu bruh its alright been there but if u really want to learn how to fight take bjj im a blue belt in bjj and a black belt in tae kwon doe

  • @edgarfan101 It doesn't matter what you study, it's how you train. Granted there are some "systems" out there developed by people who shouldn't even call themselves fighters but for the most part proper training methods can be applied to just about any fighting art. What seperated BJJ from other forms of JJ is the "alive" style training for practical application. Most complicated techniques just aren't going to work, most systems do have a basic foundations that will benefit from proper training

  • one of the most usless fighting techniques ever

  • @deltaleaderxx7 lol, no one has mentoined its a fight move.

Have you heard about the word "tricking" before? It's not even an attack.

You need to learn more before you post useless and stupid comments.

  • @Supar96Kwon stupid comments? sorry im making my point about this useless move, and u obviously need to learn more if u think this is a good move for tricking lol

  • @deltaleaderxx7 ye, its a little stupid -_-

since every1 thinks that those martial artists is gonna use tricks in a battle.. ajj.

Of course not man, who would done that?

When someone who has studied martial art fights they FIGHT they dont trick at them and make the "real trap" that THEY are being injured.

  • @deltaleaderxx7 I failed at that kick thing, but really really really, dont think fighters is gonna use tricks in a battle, im not saying this 4 u, but so that anyone can see it..

  • @Supar96Kwon my point exactly, if this move were actuly effective ufc fighters would use it, i grew up watching martial arts amd i love everything about it, but im trying to tell people the only time u ever see this done in a fight is in movies, and even if u did try to kick somebody with it( you would fail horribly) it wouldnt even hurt all that much

  • @deltaleaderxx7 yeah, ok then we agree =)

Yeah, this is an attack, and is used by Kung Fu as I know.

But u know its sooo many people who thinks "tricking" like windmill etc is gonna be used in a battle, sorry for those comments, just couldnt resist so say it.

"These tricks doesnt work in a battle" tired to hear it, Martial art is dangerous, and martial art means something..

  • @Supar96Kwon its alright, but it is a cool trick. but iv seen kung fu fighters wreck shit. now they are great fighters....enough said

  • @deltaleaderxx7 yeah lol

  • @Supar96Kwon lol, it is an attack, hence why it's called the Butterfly KICK, it's a move learned in Wushu

  • this just shows how better kung fu training is to theirs.. that was weak..

  • easy

  • faggg

  • y'all people's are so stupid .. you comments on everything is good ... plss die y'all geez 8-| this move whit practice can be verry verry good if you know how to kick , so .. gl to practice xD

  • i dont kno much about martial arts but, how is this gonna help u in a fight?

  • @xxxXXXmarcelioXXXxxx Just by doing this you can create different combos after the butterfly kick, what i like to do is butterfly kick, 540 tornado, back kick then spinning cross kick.

  • It's not... It's just to make you look cool. Maybe if you're naturally tough you can incorperate this in to fighting and still win, but if you're naturally weak then this isn't going to make a difference.

  • when you actually do it its meant to be done really fast. and if you were fighting someone would you really expect them to pull a move like that? the threat of the unknown

  • If you are a inhuman shaolin... Yes.

    If not... Doubtful...

  • it help you to make the btwist

  • @xxxXXXmarcelioXXXxxx i don't think this kick can do anything for you in a fight, but the butterfly twist has some practicality to it if you do it like scott adkins.

  • yea I can do better. he's left handed i suppose.

  • anyone can do that

  • let's see you do it.

  • not rely i am 13 and i can do it better i can even do butterfly twists and im an AUSTRALIAN. also i am not a black belt in his martial art wat is it ????

  • it says TKD on the wall

  • @hearmepeeps ^ was my brother posting. no he cant do b-twists but yes butterfly kicks are easy as do to and do fairly well. i got them on my first day of practice

  • ofcourse :P

experinced ppl are doing faster and flashier

thats why ppl think its hard

    but its exactly the same

  • also use your hips more.... the power comes from the hips :P idk why it just does D:

  • jump higher and try to dip more^^

  • this guy's a black belt? -___-

  • lol

only cuase he's got a black belt on it doens't mean that he is one

  • haha wtf and ur a black belt?

  • That looks like the wrong direction o.o

    Correct me if i m wrong :x

  • not everyone goes the same direction :| I guess

  • he's left legged i suppose.

i'm left handed but right legged. LOL
