  • where the fuck is part 2 you stupid piece of shit?

may vikings tear you to shreds.

  • Mensch zumeist mit Musikgehör beseelt, mir scheint ..

  • @FlyingPigFetus good for you

  • theyre wearing steel that is bright and true.they carry news that must get through. they choose the path where no one goes, they hold no quarter

  • HOLY SHIT I Love this song,,,

  • completing my soul, comencing in 5, 4, 3, 2 ,1 no quarter

  • I found the second and the third parts, fellas! Fuck yeah! The best rock n' roll band of all times! Great to hear that again! Thanks!

  • Please, where is the second part? Exactly when this first part ends Bonhan enters with a beautiful drum play, and for about 2 minutes there are only Jones and Bonhan playing, then Page enters carefully until the song explodes again. It's the best version of No Quarter. Please, does someone have the second part? I had a K7 tape on the early 90's with this version and I couldn't stop listening to it...

  • oh fuck ya

  • tool is original...I love Led Zepplin...grew up with them but Tool isn't some pop band I can't understand the knock either...

  • ZEPPELIN RULES... IT'S RIGHT!!!

  • You are a idiot Tool is a good band

  • @herodark44 a fantastic band . the best live act going IMO . Let the clueless ones be clueless dude . Those of us who know will enjoy them . Did you know that Tool is one of John Paul Jones' favorite current bands ?Those cats can really play their instruments

  • Tool is shit. Zep rules.

  • This is cool.

I've never heard JPJ go off like that on the keys. He had some wicked chops. He was definitely the most sophisticated musician in the band

  • What is Jones playing that evocative stuff on? Synth?

  • Off an underated album which is awesome

  • dik dik

  • dik dik

  • A vision:

A medieval night time infiltration of an enemy siege line, in a howling blizzard up a mountain pass. It is not going to be 6 months for a relief, but 2 years. It’s doable but only if the castle garrison, the town & villages beyond know to settle in for a long hold-out from the start.

The news must get through, and the enemy knows the stakes. A rare 0 visibility blizzard is the only real chance.

As long as their lungs hold breath, they still carry the message.

    No Quarter!

  • JPJ is such a fuckn beast! Easily the best musician in the band and never gets as much credit as he deserves. great performance!

  • @tfendt1 HELL YES! You are so right!

  • Both bands are great in my opinion. Sure I might love Tool more, but I still have a great respect for Led Zeppelin. Now stop bitching please, and enjoy whatever music you like. Just make sure it's not Bieber, kill yourself if it is.

  • @Xrocknroll4ever TooL is the best live band going today IMO but I don't care much for their No Quarter cover

  • Love this song.... my favourite Zep track.

  • What's wrong with Tool in your opinion?

  • Is 2:53 not the most god-awful racket you've ever heard?

  • k my analisis if u think tool is better your a metal head done we are rockers and say its to metal besides yousaiditzero is right todays bands suck

  • This is a kick ass song!!!!!! I love Zeppelin!!!

  • This song sounds like it was made yesterday or something. Awesome! I'm not a big fan of them but this song rocks!

  • it makes me sick that tool tried to remake this song they butchered it..led zepplin rocks

  • @jedi007cf

I swear to fucking god. No matter what cover a band does of any song, we always get ignorant people like you who says crap like "butchered." How the hell did they butcher it? do you even know what it means to Butcher something? I doubt tool slaughtered animals during the making of their cover of no quarter.

  • Legendary.

  • tool is amazing, zeppelin is amazing..rock is already suffering enough why put down either. tool is one of the only rock bands out right now that is about the"album-oriented" music not just singles

  • Keep in mind that the musicindustry isnt quite what it used to be...

  • If it were not for a great bluesman by the name of Robert Johnson rock n roll as we know it would not be. Long gone are the great guitar solos of yesterday. True rock groups are heavenly influnenced by the blues. Such as the mighty Led Zeppelin. The groups that are around now a days can not be classified as rock n roll as they all sound the same and they have no influences from the blues what soever. As one poster put it 400 years from now led zep will still be as big as they were in the 60's.

  • Respond to this video... they learned the hard way, but i bet now they look back and regret doing all of those drugs.. screwing up their many live performances. they are legends, but it's unfortunate that they used stuff before going live. i mean at least if you're going to do them, don't do thembefore a big showdown. lol and one of the live black dog performances reflects this statement when jimmy gets his solo and plays like he never held a guitar before.

  • You say 50Cent-I Say Led Zeppelin You say Miley Cyrus-I say AC/DC You say T-Pain-I say Deep Purple You say Flowers-I say Van Halen You say Pink-I say Pink Floyd You say Hip Hop-i say Jimi Hendrix You say R&B-I scream Classic Rock You say hanah montana-i hit you in the face 70% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop and Rap.If you are part of the 30% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos. DON'T LET THE SPIRIT rock die
  • After 1990 music stopped being made. Period!

  • Led Zeppelin is the only good band that has come from Mississippi..

  • @bowler2013 since when did Led Zep come from Mississippi???

  • @bowler2013 Since when did Led Zep come from the USA???

  • @bowler2013 er... what?

  • @bowler2013 what woah mississippi, i dont think so.

  • Jitpring--I totally agree.

  • in my opinion tool is good music. but they just cant compare with these guys

  • Tool?Who the fuck is tool?

  • Check out maaa band :)

  • Check out maaa band :)

  • Nice to see him get the chance to rock out with his own solo...and what a solo it was.

  • The reason subwoofers were created is to allow their songs to play loud without destroying the bass speakers. Try and deny.

    Whatever.

  • did any one else notice that this band rules ? I could not help but see that here .

  • @yousaiditzero well said!

  • I am a huge Led Zep fan and I love Tool too. Why does there need to be some macho bullshit competition in everything. Music is music, it's art and an expression of the soul. There is no competition when it comes to people expressing themselves artistically. Human nature really sucks sometimes. They are both great bands and that's all there is to it.

  • @MrWhistletester couldnt have said it better myself. as long as it brings forth emotion then its serving its purpose. its made to enjoy not to compete

  • @MrWhistletester I Totally Agree With You Man!!

  • this is simply a classic....those comparing to TOOL are how old? curious...

  • actually, it would be wierd to like tool and not like zeppelin, but dude go ledheads!

  • who cares, im a huge zepp fan and i dont listen to tool, some people will be the other way around, get over it. love no quarter!

  • to speak of led zeppelin and tool in the same sentence as equals is RETARDED! 25 yrs from now bands will still cover zeppelin, whilst saying, tool was a band?

  • @merkel748

You realize you just spoke about Tool and Led Zeppelin in the same sentence, right?

  • @meric2 HAAA! I as well love pointing out the obvious to the clueless...Bravo man, bravo!

  • I don't know why people bother arguing about Led Zeppelin and Tool. From my own experiences, if found that most who love one tend to love the other. That's because they're both amazing bands.

  • I idolize John Paul Jones, but dude, what's with that jacket?

  • Led Zep is wayyyy better but tool isnt bad tho

  • amazing how this is so avalible.. this great music produced live 12 years before my existance and here it is on youtube..

  • 13 yrs after my existence began & still I too am amazed.

  • Led Zeppelin and Tool are both awesome bands, they are just on different levels because they don't play the same style of music, It's pointless to argue who did this song the best, because the original is the best, always. As a musician, I can say that Tool and Led Zeppelin have both influenced me in my music. Both bands are awesome!

  • both are incredible live acts also . .Saw "perfect circle " once and they covered some Zeppelin , which was freaking great . Gifted singer

  • Jerk

  • @Xomanowar99 what do you mean by cover band? Led Zeppelin wrote their own songs

  • best song zep had live next to dazed and confused, in my opinion...nice version for jonesy!

  • For the first time ,i am listening 2 this song on Utube,I WAS THERE AT EARLS COURT.WOOOO. IN 1975.

  • Yes. I was also there. Great times in those days :-)

  • lucky man to have a memory like that

  • Critics crap on The Song Remains the Same shows and album, but the version of No Quarter from there is as all you could ask for. The JPJ intro and Page's solo are perfect. I just love that Page isn't afraid to play sloppy -- sometimes controlled messiness is exactly what's called for, and I don't know of anyone else that can do it the same, beautiful way.

  • That's one way to interpret being high as a kite!! "not afraid to play sloppy - controlled messiness" !!

Hey, I love Page like hell, but come on... some of his LIVE playing (not this video, other stuff) is just insane. :-)

  • wonder why no artist today revive this song

    ..

    .

    ....!

oh, yeah. they cant revive an immortal

  • Tool did.

  • Dont bring up weak ass tool, when ur talking about Led Zeppelin. Its bad vibes what the fuck does tool have on Zep???

  • giglywigly-

You need to do some better research. This song has been covered by probably around two dozen bands/artists. :-)

  • i DONT CARE HOW OLD I AM AND WILL GET the BEST band EVER in MY BOOK amen

  • THREE WORDS BEST SONG EVER! this song i think is better than stairway to heaven. the only problem is this one gets stuck in your head alot! lolololol

  • Read the coments of Reggie Hamilton about JPJ on BassPlayer TV!

  • No one will be listening to Tool 40 years from now. Many will be listening to Zep 400 years from now. Case closed.

  • @Jitpring you sound like my dad

  • @Jitpring longer!

  • @Jitpring i know i will be listening to them both 40 years from now.

  • @thestick169 dude i agree none of these bands will die because i will tell my children of this amazing music.

  • @Jitpring That is not true, that is a very nearsighted comment. Tool is about as close to a modern Led Zeppelin as we will ever get. Kickass drumming, powerfull singer, genius guitar work, killer bass backup riffs.

  • @Eval999 said: "Tool is about as close to a modern Led Zeppelin as we will ever get."

True. But this testifies not to Tool's greatness, but only to the rank poverty of today.

  • @Jitpring Hey fuck you buddy. Tool is good and so is Zep

  • @Jitpring I will be listening to both, both are amazing. Danny Carey and John Bonham are two of my greatest influences!

  • @Jitpring what the fuck is Tool???

  • @Jitpring - Amen brother !

  • @Jitpring Man tool is great. Idk why you hatin. But yes. Zeppelin will own music for rest of eternity agreed. Will outlast classical.

  • @Jitpring Yes they will ! Their prob the only band besides led zep that people will still listen too! They did do an awesome cover of this song, look at it this way, I would rather TOOL cover this than ayone else. LED ZEP AND TOOL FOREVER!

  • @Jitpring Yes they will ! Their prob the only band besides led zep that people will still listen too! They did do an awesome cover of this song, even led zep said that they loved it. Look at it this way, I would rather TOOL cover this than ayone else. LED ZEP AND TOOL BEST BANDS EVER

  • @Jitpring Tool still kicks ass man!

  • @Jitpring Shit son, I'll be listening to tool in 4, 000 years from now. Zep is good, but kinda goofy sometimes??!!....

  • @Jitpring I will be listening to both for my entire life. My two favorite bands.

  • @auburngoalie Are you sure that you're willing to embrace permanent adolescence?

  • @Jitpring they will both will be listened to 400 years from now both band are great....

  • Ladies and Gentlemen.....Mr. John Paul Jones!!!!

  • Todays bands should be thankful that someone made a road for them cuz they sure as fuck don't have the cement to pave one by themselves!

  • that's not true. There are some awesome bands around today; it's just that unlike Zepplin's time, good music is no longer considered popular and worthy of radio play.

  • @yousaiditzero Well said. They were not only the stepping stones for the music of today but true innovators for a new sound. love this song too, one of my favourites.

  • @yousaiditzero and don't forget about blues music which none of the rock bands would exist without

  • @yousaiditzero Dam, well said hahahahah!!!!!

  • @yousaiditzero Cement being fans. LZ would be a great band if they existed today, but not nearly as big.

  • @yousaiditzero

you can say that again mofo, 100% nailed the truth there

  • @yousaiditzero You nailed it zero

  • Comment removed

  • @yousaiditzero The Cold War produced //all// the bands.

Sorry stuff out of the 21st century, sure enough.

Frankly some of the recent pop I'd swear is Motown, but then again at the time I was too into rock 'n roll to pay much attention. That is as good as it gets these days it seems to me, some Motown jams.

  • Led Zeppelin is the best band ever!! Tool isnt even close. Perfect Circle is better than Tool

  • Led Zeppelin is an outstanding group of talent. They by far are more creative and original then a lot of Bands from different eras combined. There will never be a band that comes close to their talent.

  • Im a major tool fan, they're the reason i know and love and appreciate Led Zeppelin.

Both versions of No Quarter are, insanely groooovey, for lack of a better word. fatwreckdsucks is a disgrace to Tool and the rest of their fans by calling anyone who dislikes tool closeminded, that is fucking hipocrisy. Now appreciate the music :]

  • this song is the balllllllllllllllllllls !!

  • Tool. Tool? TOOL??? LOL You're a tool.

Btw, I like Tool, but Zeppelin they are not.

  • you all dont fuckin get tool so just shut up about it. their to different bands that cannot compare to eachother. idiots.

  • Pero que tal JPJ!!

  • lol tool are so bad

  • why because you dont like that type of music, doesn't mean its bad music

  • your obviously a close minded dumb-fuck who has a warped veiw on music

  • and *you're* clearly the dumb cunt here faggot

  • Honestly, I can't tell the difference between the 2 versions. I like both bands.

  • wow you're stupid

  • You're a faggot

  • Your right I only like good bands! Sorry tool just doesnt do it for me. Last I checked It was my choice what genre of music I liked.

  • I like tool, but there is no way they are ten times better then Zeppelin. Or any of the other bands a like a lot. I think you are the (and I quote) "close minded dumb-fuck who has a warped view of music". I kind of think this about any one who disses other people's musical taste. Every one like's their own thing. No one has a correct view of music. That's why there are different genres in the first place.

  • I have to agree

  • It just so happened that I enjoy Led Zeppelin and Tool equally... although Led Zeppelin was way more legendary, Tool is a fantastic band that creates, what I think of, as mysterious, yet so innovative and creative tunes. I was excited when I found out that Tool covered a song from Led Zeppelin. It IS in fact very, very different from the original...but I do really really enjoy it. No Quarter is a really exceptional song....and I enjoy both versions equally. If you Zep fans fave never listened,

  • to Tool, then I suggest that you do. Part of the reason that theyre not as popular is because they dont liscense their music.

  • epic.

  • Tool?? TOOL??!! LOL!!!!

    Thanks for the laugh....

    You were kidding right?

  • Is that Alison Krauss on fiddle there in the background behind sissy boy Plant?

  • fuck tool,,fuckin no comparison faggotts

  • yes i was there that night back in 1975..a wonderful show..thanks led zeppelin.

  • if you listen to tool , then what the fuck are you doing listening to zepp . you have no fucking bussiness even looking up one of THE greatest bands that ever lived . ................tool my arse .

  • tool is not led zeppelin, and will never be.. ever

  • tool=good band; led zep historic & legendary band

  • very true.

  • you know what i actually take that back.... I actually kind of like the original

  • no tool song is this epic

  • Led-Head For Life!!

  • led zep are epic im glad my fave band tool did a cover. this sounds like the same knid of song tool would write

  • Tool is a bad band tho, you cant compare them even close to Zepp

  • well im into my metal and prog more than classic stuff. different taste realy. i wouldnt say led zep are bad theyre great but i prefer tool

  • how so?

  • the piano solo makes the song

    fuck led zeppelin is amazing

    R.I.P Bonham

  • trippin

  • led zeppelin fuckin rocks but anyone who says tool is pure garbage is a fuckiing bitch ass hater. u just hatin cus tool got more hoes than you and there gettin mor paper than you. bitch

  • What magicians, absolutely breathtaking..one of 3 bands that can get me high, just by listening to their music..the other 2 being Floyd, and Velvet Underground...

R.I.P - Bonzo, you were the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
