how do you get a horse to jump. i have read books, but i still can't get my horse to jump!

First make sure your horse is healthy enough to jump. Then get a good trainer. Don't try to do it on your own with only help from a book. Books aren't personal. A trainer will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do infinetely better than a book will.

The likelyhood of you ruining your horse attempting to teach it to jump is high if you don't know what you're doing. Please,please, please hire a trainer!! :]
