  • Thank you for sharing your thoughts/memories. It was truly a message from the heart. I live in Virginia, & had no clue all of this was happening, until I got to work that morning. When I heard of the actual time that it happened, I was speechless, because I was having a dream when all of this took place, almost identical to what was going on in reality.

  • I was in like 4th grade & my day had a meeting down at the north tower to represent his company & everything was fine i went to school ...my teacher had went apple picking & brought us apples i started eating it & got sick (found out im allergic that day) i was puking everywhere & my dad missed the meeting because he had to come get me..... Jesus saved his life by an apple! I thank God i got sick that day ...

  • I was in algebra too when it happened but I was in senior year in HS. I'm from NY so I was worried for my family still there. I was in Florida. So sad

  • I was 24 yrs old, in visiting my father from out of town. I was asleep on his living room floor and my brother called and told me to turn on the tv. Just when I turned it on, the 2nd building was hit. I was sitting on the floor in shock...it was, like you said, like I was watching a movie.

  • It was my freshman year in college (in Atlanta) & they made everyone go back to our dorms or home because our campus was so close to the capital building.

  • @MrsCottonCurls th@ b/c we are also close to the cdc in atlanta. i was in the 7th grade & we were on locked down b/c they didn't know if the cdc building was next. (lock down is when know 1 could come in or out the school.)

  • I was in 5th grade and saw the buildings fall from my classroom...it was soooo crazy. I used to go down there all the time!

  • I was in 8th grade in my Biology class and remember it just like it was yesterday. Remember all the way down to what I was wearing, my reactions and just the whole entire day was very awkward.

  • I was 18 years old...sophomore year of college...I was home (NYC) sleeping when I heard my sister screaming in the other room. I wanted her to be quiet but she kept screaming so I ran in her room to see what she was yelling about...when I looked @ the tv I saw the plane hit the 2nd building. I couldn't believe my eyes. My mom was supposed to be down there that day 4 an interview but the night b4 she said "I just don't feel it in my spirit". I thank God for that cuz who knows WHAT coulda happened

  • I was in 11th grade....17 years old. I was going to Science Skills HS which is located at the beginning of Manhattan Bridge on the Brooklyn Bridge. It was the most chaotic day of my life. To see people walking across the bridge covered in dust was mind blowing. Man, the trains stopped running....I had to walk home that day from Downtown Brooklyn to Brownsville Brooklyn. :-/

  • I was 22 and working in downtown Houston @ the time. It was on a Tuesday. It was crazy. I left work because the building across the street from us got a bomb threat (Enron). I didn't return to work until Friday.

  • Let's see I was in my 7th grade Spanish class, didn't understand what was going on till they turned the TV on. I'm sure everyone remembers that day.

  • 10th grade? Wow. I was 31 and working at a newspaper in ATL. It was pure pandemonium in there.

  • I was in 3rd grade in michigan, being a jersey girl with my dad and most all my family in jersey an hour away from new york it was very scary. All I can remember being that young was my school parking lot was cleared at dismissal, nobody was barely there kids all left early & when I got home my parents where just glued to the TV. My step father got sent home for working in fords biggest executive building in detroit thinking that was going to get hit.

  • It was chaos in NJ where we were man... I won't forget it either.. I was in Ms. Gibsons gym class, teachers were crying, calling people, it was scary... I just couldn't even comprehend what was going on..

  • 9/11/2000. It made me appreciate and look at life a lot differently and I still do, I'm thankful everyday for this life and I live it to it's fullest. Peace and blessings. BTW, I know this is off the subject but what type of camera do you use? Because it really has great visual.
