  • I did it the ka system for 3 years best times loved the tournaments but I hated that Bambu stick lol

  • Part 3

I can say this all my children (4 children the Huff kids) had the opportunity to share in this dream I had by attending the "Shakil School of Martial Art" which changed their lives and made them productive human beings. "SHAKIL!!!!" "WARRIOR!!!!"

  • Part 2 I also remembering being blessed by Karriems presence and noticing the very large knuckles he and Little K.A. had as a result of breaking bricks. I admired and wanted to be just like them. It never happened. He and the little Jedi were my hero's and I mean that.

  • Part 1

Wow! First and foremost we really need to get his story. I remember always wanting to partake in the K.A. System as a kid (14 years old now 50). I remember the days just walking by the system starring in and appreciating and admiring the 6 feet plus trophies that adorned the windows. Just dreaming and wanting to be a part of the system. It never happened because I never knew how to ask my dad.

  • I spent many years under your tutelage, and i'm a better man for it... Peace and Blessings. Andre Asmar Graham

  • Your the best hands down...

  • I remember him. Like Count Dante, he didn't hesitate to criticize the martial arts shortcomings. He took some heat but was still a good fighter.

  • Master Breaker passed away a few years back. Very much Missed. RIP

  • truer words have never been spoken, I hope someday I reach this great masters level not only as a martial artist but the way he carries himself the words he speaks come from hardship, trials and tribulations but he still carries on. I would love to travel and meet this man.

  • R.I.P. Fred Miller. not vein 2 promote himself or 2 go outside the box of tradition. A true champion, gentleman, and warrior.

  • Thanks for the video. Has anyone thought about finding the top African American Martial Artists of the 1960s-1970s and making a book about them. Peace

  • one of the best fighters to come out of the ka system was the only female black belt from the school, Tanya Hill. Unbeatable in the 70s and often beat men to earn her rank. most recently, her shodan. in the very same event you see happy crump and nashid wasi, Tanya faught a male, and legit black belt to 3 points. and it was a contact match. incredible.

  • I love this story, I had to fight for my name, honorable!! Named by the great H.E.M

  • I have learned and benefited greatly from the KA System and style and it has been such a wonderful blessing to be able to have it and not need and to not be a position to need it and not have it. May Allah bless and reward you Grandmaster Karriem.
