I saw him for free last night at Hartwood Acres just outside of Pittsburgh as part of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series! It was epic, and there were a LOT of people there! Still to come: Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals!
i am currently living in the city where josh ritter grew up and went to school. i saw him live at a benefit concert for one of the teachers at the high school (he was diagnosed with brain cancer) it was amazing. somehow i feel like a have a connection to his music (considering that many f his songs where written about this city) anyway, greetings from Moscow Idaho. peace love and happiness

sometimes i wonder why josh ritter isn't the most well known musician on earth.. and i guess its just because people dont like good music. thats the only explanation

Adam is tempted with selfishness (tempted to push the button). He believes that if he can keep her in this controlled environment, she will never look for someone else who may fit her idea of the "perfect match"/ her "perfect lover". Pushing the red button would eliminate all threats of competition. It would force him to be her only option.

i couldn't believe last time when i asked if anyone had ever heard of him and they all nodded no! people should listen to josh ritter because his music is good! it can make you sing, dance, and cry all at the same time...this is definately one of his greatest...my first time hearing it i cried(it was the first time i'd ever even heard his music) but i rushed online and looked it up....bravo! great amazing song!

Really admire some of Josh Ritter's stuff. This one, the fusion of Adam and Eve, and the Cold War, if that's what it is, is confusing.

Adam is tempted with selfishness (tempted to push the button). He believes that if he can keep her in this controlled environment, she will never look for someone else who may fit her idea of the "perfect match"/ her "perfect lover". Pushing the red button would eliminate all threats of competition. It would force him to be her only option.
Tragic, beautiful, and hopeless.

i couldn't believe last time when i asked if anyone had ever heard of him and they all nodded no! people should listen to josh ritter because his music is good! it can make you sing, dance, and cry all at the same time...this is definately one of his greatest...my first time hearing it i cried(it was the first time i'd ever even heard his music) but i rushed online and looked it up....bravo! great amazing song!
