  • lebnash1 is is right about sydney stopping without a lil culture . . . . without the asian drug dealing in Parramatta and the Lebanese organised crime in Kings Cross and many inner city bars and night-clubs, some parts of Sydney would sure stop. Sooner the better. But no chance of that given the fine start lae and order in Sydney. As corrupt and rotten as it has ever been.

  • Old Johnny "Be" good

  • funny how people were fucking stupid enought to vote him him 9 years later

  • Hi all, there is a user online in youtube called adenowa3232 who is apparently threatening people who dare to voice their objection to Howard and Howards style of Government. if you follow this link to a youtube vid called "The Interview: John Howard - Part 1 of 4" read the comments and see this little basted in full form scaring folks from speaking up. I invite you all to come and take a piece of this little creep, and let him know we wont be silenced.

  • $540 million in 1987, $11b in 2010. As the song says, "from little things, big things grow". :)

  • JH is the best PM we have ever had, unless you're a minority!

    Like a fag or something.

  • The last time the Liberal party were in power in Victoria, they closed more than 300 schools, 100 schools,, 5 train lines, cut 800 Police jobs instead of employing 2.000 as they first said, and Liberal cut 2.900 Medical Jobs, and, Liberal got rid of tram conductors! they even closed Police stations, i would never vote for Liberal in Victoria again!! this election i'm voting Labor, they have done so much better!!!!!!!

  • fuck... howard was an old cunt even then!!!

  • Every 2nd word Kevin Rudd utters is a lie. John Howard didn't lie. If he did it was a leftist calling it a lie because they couldn't attack him any other way (Howard did a good job-not like Rudd who is spending our way into massive debt!)

  • The GST was and still is an UNLAWFUL tax on the Commonwealth yet to get out of paying it you must bypass every rule you've grown to and been taught to live by. The ETS is just another UNLAWFUL tax on Australians that will be almost impossible to avoid either.

Our govt re-presentatives aren't doing what we want so now we must pull out the whip and start cracking it on their backs until they listen to us.

  • john howard what a fucking asshole he has fucked this joint someone should still execute him to set an example not to fuck up our country

  • To answer liber8me, yes John Howard was the worst PM ever. For me personally he cost my family about $30,000 a year with the casualization of the work force. Not to mention completely ignoring the Australian public and foisting a GST on them and two bloody wars. I don't remember any Iraqi or Afghani ever threatening any Australian, but because of that tin pot polly we're still killing complete strangers. No that silver spooner needs to hang his head in shame.

  • what so you got sacked because you're useless?

  • Worse than Billy McMahon, James Scullin or Gough Whitlam? And you seem to have forgotten about the ANZUS treaty, compelling Australia to aid America if it is attacked, which happened on September 11th, hence Afghanistan. Iraq? maybe the invasion was wrong, but at the time it was apparent they had WMDs, and is still apparent that Saddam massacred Kurds. To pull out now is cowardly and will leave the country worse than we found it resulting in countless more deaths.

  • Cowardly to ammend an error of judgement that has wrought havok on an innocent nation. No, not in my book.

  • totally agree, they are practically the same party, one is just a little left than the other. They both suck big business cock

  • John Howard - worst PM ever.

  • howard worse pm ever? is there something about record growth, low interest rates and low unemployment that you dont like?

compared to keating howard was the best pm we ever had

  • @limer: So how's that record growth and those low interest rates now? Oh and the soon to be waves of unemployment when everything goes ass up within the next 6 months?

The GFC was planned by the banks and not even Howard could've avoided it if he was in power last year.

  • it is no achievement to claim low interest rates when the economy has ground to a halt. if no-one is spending money, inflation goes down and so do interest rates.

the GFC was planned by the banks? really? so it was the banks brilliant plan to go broke?

  • Q. Who runs what the banks do? A. The RBA.

    Q. Who owns the RBA? A. The Commonwealth.

    Q. Who owns the Commonwealth A. The Queen.

    Q. Who runs the Queen's finances? A. Rothschild

    Q. What doea Rothschld run? The UN.

    Q. What does the UN want? A. The disintergration of world Sovereignty ie. control of the world aka. Global Governance.

    Are you liberated yet, liber8me?

  • you do realise that the GFC was caused because of a LACK of regulation, not too much.

that's where your theory falls apart because it was the banks bad lending practices, not something they were forced to do by legislation that led to the financial collapse.

  • @ liber: theory? Look around.

Deregulation the cause? Who aloows the loans? The banks chose to hand out loans to unsecured borrowers. Who's fault do you think that was? God's?

Mate, you're killing your own arguments.

  • you were making the absurd point that the reserve bank was forcing the banks to go broke - however as I said, this crisis had NOTHING to do with government interference. I fail to see why the banks would want the global financial crisis when they lost billions through their own mistakes

  • @ liber: firstly, I didnt say the RBA was forcing any bank to do anything. Secondly, which banks lost out of the GFC? Our tax dollars were handed to them.

More importantly you're missing the point that most of the money you say was lost never existed to begin with. It was fiat. Fake. Paper money worth nothing and Fractional Reserve Banking/Derivatives (fictional money) or to put in lamens... numbers on a screen were what was lost.

Go research what FRB and derivatives are and get back to me.

  • then why the hell did you have your tirade about the RBA and who controls it? it had nothing to do with the GFC.

secondly, a lot of banks went bankrupt in the global financial crisis and the ones that got money was just to keep them afloat - they lost billions, screwed their value because of MISTAKES they made. there was no "conspiracy" for a global government, just banks that got greedy and went bankrupt.

  • @liber: You're either extremely closed minded or you work for the govt. Either way I'm satisfied you're wasting everyone's time.

  • actually no the GFC was not planned by banks. why would they want to lose billions of dollars through their own mistakes? i asked you this and you had a random tirade about the RBA which had nothing to do with the GFC.

the global financial crisis was directly a result of governments in america REMOVING regulation for years in regards to bank lending practices. the banks got greedy and lost billions of dollars. so please tell me why the GFC was in the interests.

  • @ liber: "GFC" is an alarmist term that we all use & was perpetuated by mainstream media. I feel u know exactly what happened & u keep asking snotty questions 2 test me.

When I said "the banks" I was talking about the RBA, Bank of England, The Fed Reserve, etc (those that CONTROL the money supply). Again, they didn't lose. They got our tax dollars. The govt gave banks the space to lend irresponsibly. They didn't have to, They chose to.

The more u apologise 4 the banks the worse u look.

  • mate the banks lost a hell of a lot more money than they ever got from the government. all the government gave them was enough to prevent them collapsing.

space to lend irresponsibly? they didnt tell them to do ANYTHING. the regulations were relaxed and the banks got greedy and gambled with their money and lost.

i notice you haven't given any proof to back up your claims - that's a sign of a nutjob - you make wild claims and u accuse anyone who questions you of being in league with the plotters

  • @liber: the banks that print the money lost nothing but numbers. Go research derivatives and you'll learn what happened.

" Space to lend irresponsibly" is the same as relaxing regulations. You're arguing using the exact same terms worded differently lol

You really have to stop rewording what you write and start repeating what I do cos in essence you're agreeing with everything I say.

  • It seems to be those who deny the issues call those educated "nutjobs". A very small and fallacical vocabulary you have for someone so intent at protecting the legislation of banks and govt.

Good luck with your career and all the best in the new year.

  • if the banks just lost the money they printed than why did so many go bankrupt and the rest have to be bailed out? they lost BILLIONS, and they only survived because of the government. there was no incentive for them to screw up - they just got greedy. you call yourself educated so provide the proof - i want to see the evidence. why would fanny mae want the GFC?

  • @ liber: You not reading what I write. You're interpreting what you want 2. Fannie Mae wasn't a bank. FM was an aggeregate for a chunk of the money supply.

You're continual need for confirmation of everything is telling of the level of your understanding. No judgement from me anymore as I'm over this continual line of unrelated questioning and circling around the matter.

I'm sending u a pm referencing a lot about my comments. U can choose 2 watch or not. Peace.

  • @buskerbuoy No Kevin Rudd - Worst PM ever

  • @KillerKoala56 is that you Bill Heffernan? or perhaps its Tim Fischer.

  • @buskerbuoy Could you name 5 significant and effective policies the Rudd Gillard Government which has had a positive impact in Australia?

    The only thing that comes to mind;

    the bungled insulation scheme

Failure to deliver the ETS (demonstrates his lack of conviction for 'the greatest moral challenge of our time'

Failing to make significant reforms from the henry tax review

over stimulating the economy with poorly designed stimulus package

    mining tax

inviting boat people to australia etc

  • You labor voters I can't stand you. So caught up in your little labor ways.

  • Rudd is the best PM you have ever had and ever will have you liberal dong beaters

  • RUDD'S A DUDD

  • he doesn't though.. his just a bad prime minister

  • Best piece of graffiti I have ever seen - "Kill Howard - Vote With A Bullet" Lilyfield, Sydney - circa 1999

  • Billion dollar racist araldited desiccated coconut who did nothing

  • I cant belive it... history repeating... im preparing for it... im in business and nearly paid my house off (im 23) i will have my house paid off and ready to buy another when rudd fucks this country up.

  • That clip is from "Labor in Power".

  • john howard is a reasonable prime minister. rudd defeated him because work choices was unpopular

  • Howard is now a was. DIE IDIOT DIE.

  • This account is now closed

  • He was the worst PM we've ever had.

  • john howard was quite ATTRACTIVE imagine back in 1950's lol... yukk

  • lol howard then doesnt look that serious

  • we need is a leader that doesn't have ideals and a vision of the 50's. Howard's policies have left us in the stone age compared to other developed countries. And if he wants to talk about "me too" policies he can take a leaf out of his own book every time he speaks to Bush. Our foreign affairs and IR policies are in essence no different than the US. He says hes a monarchist so when did the Queen become the President of the US?

  • Yer that point was raised on Lateline a couple weeks back, and Howard put that snivelling little shit in his place. Howard tightened gun laws, Bush would not. Howard suggested Bush should have a better social security net for health, Bush doesn't. Howard being a monarchist is the opposite to being a republic, which the USA is - don't see why you mentioned that. There are just as many 'me not' as 'me too' there, whereas everything Rudd has done (in this election year) is 'me too'...

  • ...except ofcourse for the spending at the 'delayed' campaign launch, which was simply a change in tactic to grand stand as an economic conservative, which was helped by the RBAs comment on spending. Um, our central independent bank. They got that right. It is so independent that it is not even owned by the Australian people, but probably private owners of the Bank of England like the Rothschilds. They can manipulate an election to suit their agenda.

  • Howard was just Bush in a mini me suit.

*In a JH Elmer Fud voice. 'Surpwise! Hehe, Oh! Where did everwe body go?'

  • Oh no is it possible someone sees through my tongue in cheek "support" for the Liberal Party at last?

    Good Documentary that was.

  • Cool i worked on this Documentary!! best job i ever did

  • Long Live the hreat Liberal Party stalwart

Lyenko Urbancic! A good old fashioned Nazi propagandist!

And who can forget David Clark another great Liberal Nazi!

John Howard is our great leader!

    Heil John Howard!

  • One thing I have against Howard is that he has increased our immigration of ethnics, so much that now, one third of Sydney siders were born in another country. If my area starts to look like chinatown or the middle east, I am out of here.

  • Absoultely - Pauline Hanson might have been on the money about what she was talking about.

  • Your not wrong. Maybe we need a woman in power rather than all these dickheads that keep poppin up....

  • What, like Julia Gilard. No thanks, I would rather stick with the beardless gnome.

  • what the fuck are you on about?

  • Bogans. Sydney's full of em.

  • racist prick.. wats wrong with a lil culture. without the asians or middle easterns, sydney would stop!

  • @lebnash1

JH wasn't racist. He didn't say anything wrong with asians. That was Pauline.....Or can't you remember or you just dont know?

  • @lebnash1

How? How exactly would it stop working? And how can we explain the fact that it worked prior to mass immigration from non-European sources?

  • Hmm, so true of you to compare Liberals with Nazis. Tell me, what happened to all those Nazis you so valiantly speak of? Killed them and their families in those Berlin bunkers? Or executed for war crimes? What a pity you couldn't join them!

  • You ought to be sharing a grave with ol' Lyenko.

  • Oh dear Vinny, I remember the days in Nazi Germany when I could walk down the street safely at 3:00 am Why? Because all the criminals and those 'unworthy of life' were disposed of!

Why do you think we Lithuanians, Latvians and anti-communists flocked to the Liberal Party in the 1950's? Why do you think we The Catholic Church (same church that supported the Nazis)was so anti-Labor in the 50's and 60's and even now!

The Liberal Party has made us remember the glory days of the Nazi Regime.

  • Yes, and then didn't you all shoot yourselves in Berlin bunkers in 1945? You are a blotch on humanity, sir.

  • Vinny, I can tell you are either in prison or will shortly be. Your anarchist views will be logged by ASIO and you will be led off to some third world 'shithole' and interrogated.

Interrogated as to why you don't like all that is clean, pure and white!

You will stop eating dark communist rye bread and start eating white bread with hundreds and thousands.

    Heed what I say, peasant.

We, the cardigan wearers, are rational and normal. You communists are whackjobs.

  • Oh yes, the prison internet is so sophisticated nowdays. Tell me, are you a low-brow, no-brow or ignorami? Your banter reminds me of a Hitler dictatorship. Do you have anything substantial to add to this discussion? Because if not, why don't you go and buy a new cardigan? So rich of you to call me a whackjob, master.

  • And I couldn't agree with you more. We don't have it in us to mark a slip of paper. I'm sure Howard would round up you brainless cronies to white-union thug us. No, it wasn't union thuggery that infected your brain. Just Liberal policies.

  • *Sorry the waterfront dispute 1998.

Union thugs have infected my memory!

  • I mean, us union communists, we are a bad bunch. You know, we just initiated fair working conditions, the 8 hour day and balance between the filthily affluent and the working class. But you know, we're all peasants so that couldn't possibly rate against white collar arseholes such as yourselves.

  • It is impossible to have sensible banter with union thugs. They cannot read and write and they swear at us 'born to rule' cardigan wearers! We must train more urban militia overseas and take over all unions a la waterfront dispute 1987.We must nail the evil godless communist unions once and for all.

You mortgage paying peasants 'haven't got it in ya' to vote John Howard out! You know that, I know that.

    Vote 1 Howard.

  • It is also quite impossible to argue with fright-wing fags. Their heads are so far up their arses that they couldn't possibly read what's on the computer screen, but are in a convenient place to recite all of Howard's policies and also to see the stance the community has on Howard in general.

  • Are you going on about the 'fear campaign'. This is just an excuse for the ALP to try and cover up REALITY. What about Labors 'fear campaign' with regard to the environment. In truth all campaigning against the rival party would be negative ofcourse and therefore scary, but a campaign could only be classed as a fear campaign if it was the entirety of a parties campaign. eg Keatings '93 campaign. It was all about why not to vote for the GST and nothing else.

  • Oh yes there'd be fear campaigns on all sides. One thing you'd have to give to both sides is that they're trying to employ some degree of delusion, simply for the purpose of winning votes.

  • Rudd is obviously a godless communist who is the face of union thuggery. He is evil and will raise rates, force your steakfaced kids to join the Communist Youth League.

Howard represents all that is good, pure, clean and white.

    Go Johnny.

  • Mmm, white-collar unions, for example. Oh sorry, I'm late for my Stalin-lving, Communist meeting. Nuff said.

  • And I suppose also to support Howard-grovelling Liberals such as yourselves. The working class in Australia is what keeps you afloat, you bastard and I think it's about time we drop you on your fat arse. You sicken me.

  • Keating was the worst Prime Minister in the history of Australia.

  • That's right Vinny you clown! Your brain and soon you will be in a prison! You have to learn to get used to working more than you ever have! Who else is going to bring up your steakfaced kids? There's more than enough white trash sprogs around!

    Dumb mortgage paying peasant!

  • Oh yes I'm sure that if the Liberals were in for long enough, they'd put free thinkers in prison. But why stop at free thinkers? Let's jail everyone who doesn't live in Vaucluse, Kirribilli or indeed the North Shore. But I suppose I'll have to start working 25 hours a day to pay my bills, mortgage, petrol bills, etc etc.

  • Btw I rent, you steak-faced, white trash 'spog'. God, your comeback scares me to the bones! Oooo!

  • Ok Vinney and gentleman lets cool down and get back to some clean hearted and sensible banter with intelligent comments, Rudd is a radical Left Winger but most dont know this

  • You mortgage paying peasants are so ungrateful.

If it weren't for John Howard we would have been overun my muslim terrorists, union officials and drunk aboriginals.

Are you all so blind? Don't you understand?

You all need to join the army and learn to do as you're told! Only when you learn obedience you can say 'thank you' to us, the Party born to Rule'.

    Go Johnny!

  • Reading through all these comments, you're all mostly indolent in your opinions on politics in this country. Common party and media slogans abound! Does anyone think for themselves anymore?!?

  • No, we're all brainless, stupid products of the state. Suddenly if we agree with something a government or shadow government says, we're not thinking independently. I shall bore you with one more common maxim. Idiocracy.

  • If Labor gets in it will be $PEND, $PEND, $PEND!!

Interest rates will go through the roof straight away and your workers will hire the same union thugs you saw on TV and have you bashed senseless!

This isn't 'scare tactics' this is the TRUTH!

I am well acquainted with communism. My cardigan was made in the P.R. of China and I've been to Vietnam as a tourist.

    This is Australia be proud!

    Go Johnny!

  • And while we're here:

    -Hail Hitler!

    -666!

    -Go Mussolini!

And we have been bashed senseless?!

  • Yeah powerbroker77 there are more people at work given that you're classified as employed if you do more than an hours work a fortnight. Its a bit rich when the government claims that workchoices is resposible for the low unemployment figures as millions of jobs have been created prior to the introduction of these draconian laws. Laws that would return as to a place that unions and previous labour governments have delivered us from.

  • Alistra not everyone wants a lot of hours, at the end of the day fairness in the workplace starts with a chance of a job and if anyone wants more hours whats stopping them? you forget 1 million families were out of work under hawke/keating years, unions are only 15% of the private sector so there role is really small these days so forget that:)

  • What's stopping them? The prospect of their family going broke and them being homeless, that's what's stopping them. Interest rates are as good as up (again), housing affordability is at record lows, food and petrol are skyrocketing. So many people would be forced into being 2 income families.

  • Hey presto! Here comes the Government with Work Choices, the worker's friend - the deviant for a system that not only encourages but forces this worker to work longer hours.

  • So Vinny whats the matter they working you too hard? i work from home in biz for myself and i have a part time job, see Vinny its your mind thats in a prison because instead of being upset that you are made to work longer you could put measures inplace yourself to not work longer by earning money elsewhere and even PASSIVE if need be, you simply cant just rely on your job's income and the govt to support you as theres too many people

  • You think people are happy to be forced to work longer hours? Yes let's force ourselves to be happy that we can't spend time with our families, instead having to work for 'the man' just to pay our mortgages and keep food on the table? And working a second job? You're just working longer hours elsewhere. I mean I didn't ask for the govt. to support me but the fact that they can't even start to put measures in to somehow help the people is really what infuriates me.

  • If the chance of Rudd resigning was significantly real, there would be long and loud media speculation about it. The media loves weaknesses in Kevin Rudd (and John Howard for that matter) and that would definitely be one of them. I think a small question mark over Rudd's future is better than a gigantic exclamation mark over Howard's.

  • Well I agree no one is perfect and I am not an idealist. I just think the wealth can be distrubuted more and inflation should have been under more of a check by Howard and Costello. As for State Labor well we have them to thank for our very lacking intercity rail service everyday.

I see people all around me that are having it tougher . I am not a pessimist, I am not an idealist but I do believe in a fair go for all Aussies.

  • Evo you are dangerous to the wests nat security, dont blame howard about Iraq, Our Noble Country men are serving in iraq doing good things building helping with infrastructer protecting from attacks. If we leave iraq now terror increases as Iran takes over iraq, Our govt really beleived there was WMD's so we give them the benefit of the doubt as they were only protecting us, dont blame howard and you sir are a coward and you mind is brainwashed by the far LEFT that is very obvious

  • hes had those same glasses since 1987 woah fuking cheapass haha

  • Howard is kicking Dudds arse already.

Keating is left to bleat but no body listens to him anymore.

Stick it up their fat clackers Johnny!

  • cockaroach

  • Btw there are a few points of commonality between the state and federal governments at present...they have both been in for a hopelessly long time and have become blissfully arrogant of the territory around them.

  • Vinny heres the killer for you and it kills you old son....Ian Mcfarlan the former governer of the reserve bank himself last year said that because the state labor is now in control that could push interest rates higher and be a problem, and again do you know why? you never answer that:)

  • That may kill me, but can either you or he justify it? What source is this? You might be a 'political L-plater' but even you should know that it isn't the government - or their workings - that controls interest rates. They might have some ebb and flow but to blame interest rate hikes on a state government that is the opposition is simply unjustifiable. Kills me? Nah mate, looks like a Lazarus to me... :)

  • Vinny you just dont get it,i will make it very clear for you, firstly justify it you say? Vinny this came from the former governer of the reserve bank! lol, he is quoted to say state labors policies can be a problem for interest rates...this isnt saying its the main cause! but a factor..again this relates to fiscal policy,

  • I'd believe him. State Labor is both arrogant and bumbling. But I put it to you: who or what made interest rates rise in the first place? Surely a government who manages its economy so well would make sure that interest rates wouldn't rise, provided that that was its 2004 election promise?

  • Hi Vinny hope you have been well mate, about the election promise, Howard kept his promise because the govts interest rates have averaged around 7% but under the previous policies the average was 12.4% , Bob hawke legend! but unfortunatly these guys like rud gllard and swann are bad news, this treasury debate will be so funny because swann is actually really packing dohnuts about this debate, Peter will cut him in half

  • Hmmm....better than 23% interest rates - or do you know the average for this as well? It would be quite interesting to know. BTW yes I have been alrite thanks for asking lol :)

  • Vinny 23% you are right but Howard is not the treasurer anymore and everyone knows whether they like or dislike peter costello that he has kept the books and economy above board better than any previous treasurers, Gareth Evans was one of the best labor treasurers but now this Swann is very bad news and the debate im sure will show how inept swann is

  • Apparently, Swan is not the guarentied treasurer if Labor wins, according to Rudd, who said ontop of this when he was questioned about it, that even HIS position as leader was not guarentied. WHAT? That would mean a question mark on who would be PM if Labor won. But hasn't Labor been trying to use the uncertainty of Howards stay as PM as a negative. What a bunch of hypocrites the ALP is.

  • Apparently? Who told you that, Piers Akerman? (He is a fright-wing columnist, if you don't live in Sydney) But I suppose some gun-toting, lumberjacking, overall wearing, rough-housing union thug will kick him out, eh?

  • It was on the ninemsn website a couple of weeks ago, in Adelaide I think he was campaigning. Rudd didn't really mean that his job as leader was not definite, he was just side stepping the issue cause in truth, Swan may not be treasurer, it maybe Gillard.

  • From what I heard, that may be a good career choice. I never said I supported Swan, but I am in favour of Rudd and Gillard.

  • Gillard scares me much more than Costello.

  • I think that Gillard has balls (no pun intended; don't take it literally). If you accuse Rudd of me-too-ism, it's as if he's taken lessons of Costello. One thing I can't stand in an opposition government is when they oppose absolutely everything the government proposes, a la John Brogden. From my mind, Gillard is a bit more refined than Peter Costello, who bumbles a bit - but that's just me.

  • But why? Why is Swan inept? Because he is inexperienced? I mean he has been quiet but it's not as if he's some hellbent mogul endeavouring to wreck our economy.

  • well i have seen A LOT of swann myself and he is a sorry excuse for a politician, swanns comments that labor's borrowing doesnt put pressure on interest rates is too funny, have you seen him in question time? hes a joke, he is not ready or equiped to run Australias economy

  • This is conveniently taken out of context. Howard didn't promise that interest rates would not rise - at all! That would be plain stupid. He promised rates would remain low, and historically they are still low, even with 4 hikes in the past term.

  • Plus you haven't denied that one declared legally employed is one that works one day a week...you say so much, nothing gets said. I'd ask you to do something for your country as well, but I suppose you don't want to die...

  • Vinny Sorry your incorrect the people have more fulltime employment than ever before, haha you got that right Vinny you sure dont know about the economy lol , The Coalition can manage the money from the mining boom as Proved but labor cannot, you cannot trust labor with money and you can see it in the states report cards as they are running budget deficits until 2011 :) swann and gilard and Rudd Do not know their stuff you FOOL! they are the worst ever

  • Sure the government can manage the economy...they put it into surplus, then splurge it on the pensions. Oh you sure as shit were right, the coalition can manage the economy, what they do wwith the money is a different matter, I don't see it being put back into the country. At least Rudd, Gillard and Swan are independent, they don't do George Bush up his proverbial arse. Maybe you can justify yourself on the employment too? Oh of course you don't have to, YOU'RE A LIBERAL!!!

  • Vinny you dont know politics or the economy so you sound silly by what you say as the state labor govermts are running budget deficits from now until 2011 but the federal is saving and running the budget in surplus, Lol Vinny again you prove your brain is So Lame because you dont actually know where our money is spent from our greatly improved economy which many countries Envy,

  • Don't you Liberal staffers ever get tired of this bullshit?

  • Again, justify your filthy argument...you sir do not know politics or the economy. The federal government is saving, and saving, and saving.....and my brain is so lame? You really are a carbon copy of a Liberal you get desperate so you start playing filthy. How can you compare state Labor to Federal Labor? One has been in for 12 years, the other hasn't been able to win power because the other side has effectively smothered the country to the ground

  • Ok Vinny i will be polite and ASK YOU to justify Your clean argument:) the federal is saving and saving BUT Spending Billions for our country and to protect us in the future so dont be so selfish, Do you actually ever listen to your politicions except the news and net?

  • And you want me to justify my argument? Look out your window, see what the government has done...a citizenship test? I ask you, an example of but one by-product of their billions.

  • So let's play your way, eh? At least I'm not a heartless, spineless, brainless, gutless moron whose mouth and arsehole are interchangable. Do something for your country and shut up. And no, you won't be considered multi-tasking if you do that.

  • Haha Vinny vinny vinny my man, look dont get all cut up and personal buddy, im treating this as a cheap debate with personal stabs and im having fun doing this we are both riding rough shot of each other and, everyone calls me names in here lol i dont care because im used to it so im on youtube so ofcourse im going to give it back:) Dont think of me as a LIB but More Anti Rudd Gillard and Swann, they will bury us and your so blind and swindled not to see this and it will cost you:)

  • And I'm blind and swindled? Take off your 'anti Rudd' blindfold and say that. 'Unemoployment is at a 32 year low'...I'm blind and swindled? I might be young but I can tell the difference between a good leader and a pile of manure. Hint: the latter is a member of the Liberal party.

  • rudd is not a Leader because the Trade unions control him and Leaders must have policies didnt you know your leader has no policies except maybe1 your falling for fancy one liner crap that is all spin and your watching Videos made by communists.you justify yourself by mentioning a citizen test LOL.Why did you ask me"how can i compare state labor to federal labor?"i was comparing the State labor government which ARE in power NOW to the Federal government in power now you silly billy:)

  • dont be fooled by Howard the Pseudo libertarian

  • Leaders must have policies, huh? How many policies did John Howard steal from other politicians, such as Pauline Hanson? It is only now that the Federal government intervenes on Aboriginal Australia. Hanson mentioned this in the 90s. Rudd promised a standard broadband system; the government copied that. Rudd promised to crack down and indeed abolish work choices; only now do I hear about this ombudsman-thingamujig.

  • John took the best of paulines policies and good on him as they were in the very best interest of this country, work choices??? do you know what the unions did to cassie? then Rudd passed the buck to gillard and she didnt want to know about it...cassie got screwed by the union and she was forced into resigning by the union and treated without any rights and now OUR ombudsman is investigating some horrific treatment of employers under the union, shame

  • Well if John is entitled to take Pauline's best policies, isn't Kevin to taking John's? btw I feel very sorry for Cassie but look, it takes an ombudsman to sort out problems - not as trivial as this, per se - but what will surely be increasingly common.

  • Rot - all states save Old and NSW are running at least balanced budgets. And the only reason those are in deficit is to fund infrastructure which the Feds should be ponying up the cash for.

  • Progressive If the Feds are saving at the same time labor is borowing then that is the feds money, dont blame the feds blame the system mate

  • Actually you are not quite correct on that. Did you know that a person is termed employed if they work one hour a week. What use is that in paying the bills? Also Australia has about the 3rd highest casualised work force in the world (OECD). That is NOTHING to be proud of in terms of employment. Not only that 75% want more work (hours). That is why so many normal, average Aussies are working 2-3 casual jobs just to keep up with unchecked sky rocketing inflation (announced today).

  • 7thview you are a bit pessimistic mate because Australia has the second best minimum wage in the world and 80% work normal hours! You must be to young to remember how over 1 million families were out of work in the hawke/keating years (i love bob)But now there are More families working now than ever before! 7thView nothings perfect mate but the current policies will always be better for us then the oppositions and you can blame state labor for borrowing which is a factor of inflation

  • I find that the Leaders of the Liberal party know shit for shit about the working conditions of the average Australian worker. Are you catching my drift? Buy the clue or do I need to spoonfeed it to the silver spoon you were born with?

  • Haha very very weak Vinny you like the labour part have no substance, why dont you forget stupid media stunts and concentrate on some more important issues like i mentioned below! What you say about working conditions shows how stupid you are because the records report for themselfs, why dont you do something for your country instead of spitting out your junk

  • My junk? Mate, I'm still wading through yours. How about you stop humouring us all? And so rich you talking about media stunts...yep, our economical boom is due solely to the Liberals. Bullshit! How about you come out from under your rock and see that there is both a mining boom and a China boom? And we don't understand the economy exactly....so very, very rich.

  • Vinny the economy doesnt just run itself but you wouldnt know that as you do admit you dont understand the economy:) the Coalition live within our means and keep us in surplus and they can manage the money and our whole economy unlike labor who left us with a appaling economic legacy, Forget where the money came from but the management of the money, swann LOL this guys a JOKE:)

  • An appaling economic legacy? Who gave us 21% interest rates, 12% inflation and 12% unemployment? I'd take a good long look at my facts before I talked about economic legacies - surplus is full but the country is dead. Shows how much you know about the economy, you little Lib.

  • Haha you suck, keating led us to a recession and unemployment is Now at a 33 year Low and why is this? ..Because we have a strong Economy...Why are we strong? ..because of the Coalitions economic reforms that labor opposed, Haha KEvin07 and tele prompters?? Now thats American you FOOL...Rudd and Swann and Gillard Hahahahahaha they no nothing except to set up comitees,

  • Oooh 'you suck'...whose argument is piss weak now? Keating did not lead us into a recession, in case you didn't notice the world economy was going into a recession. I'm still not seeing the link between teleprompters and America either...does Liberal blood make you delusional? I would oppose an economic reform as well if I had lied to the people in the first place about not introducing it...

  • Keating did leave us with a recession while lying before it hit us! and a budget deficit and who has managed us out if this deficit? ..The COALITION...dont be so crooked and acknowledge this and be thankful for the PROSPERITY we live in now but you are too young to know what labor did to working families with 1 million families out of work

  • Oh yeah, 'this is the recession we had to have' was so lying. In 1987, The Dow Jones fell by 508 points. If that isn't a pre-emptive to a recession, I don't know what is. There has been extended growth because the world economy has been growing, not because the Liberals are in government. You could put any government in and say they were responsible for an economic boom.

  • Vinny You are Incorrect when you say you can Put ANY Government in office while in a World boom and the Economy will be great.your not stupid but you need to learn more about money managment in economics and you need to spruse up on your fiscal policy education.keating pretended to be the king of the greatest economy in the world.I RESPECT and LIKE Keating and Hawke but Rudd.Gillard and Swann and garret LOL..cmon they are Not Ready because they literaly dont know their stuff.

  • There was a time when John Howard didn't know his stuff either...as it so happens, I can deduce we weren't in existence to see his earliest days. Anyone can have their opinions on Rudd, Gillard and Swan but I would like to at least give them a chance...see their ideas, because they do seem to be good. Remember Julia Gillard has had a long run in prominent politics, though she does not have the stature or leadership skills that Rudd has, hence the setup.

  • And I suppose you deduce that because unemployment is at a record low, everyone is alright? Youth unemployment in my area is 42%, general unemployment is 7%...go figure.

  • Vin i didnt say everyone is alright so please dont put words in my mouth, so who do you blame for 42% youth unemployment? What was the % rate under the Former policies Mr im on my L plates in politics :) Vinny What i said was There are more families working than ever before unlike under keating/hawke where 1 million were out of work and we have a 33 year low unemployment so your comeback to this was that youth unmplymnt in your area is high? lol..

  • But what is employed and what isn't? One hour a week is employed? Please I work more than one hour a week and I deliver newspapers...am I employed? There may be more families working now than ever before...but then again there are more people than ever before. There would be more families working; to cover the monstrous debt that John Howard incurrs on the populous indirectly, ie interest rates. Another blatant lie.

  • Vinny you just dont understand because when hawke/keating were in power families couldnt get work :( it was tough..hey its not perfect now but Now We are much better off than those days, haha you say there are more people than ever before BUT there is More Business Investment than ever before meaning More jobs for more people to work so you are clearly incorrect:)

  • Don't worry about any misunderstanding...Howard sent my father's small business broke. Of course there is more business investment than ever before; we are in a mining and economic boom, aren't we? This is growing to be a Catch-22 - do you see where I'm coming from with this?

  • Vinny sorry no i dont see where your coming from and now i see your views on howard stem from personal issues because your dad hated howard but i see most business owners say they vote howard, i hope your Dad recovered and got back on his feet Vinny did he? hope so i dont wish bad for anybody

  • Yes he's alright now; but no my issues about Howard do not really stem from a personal basis - the cracks of the matter lie in looking and listening to his plans, cabinet and arrogance.

  • Howard and bush are the devils testicals.Left nut and right nut and those who voted for them are the prick. Howard has done nothing but lie and mislead the australian people as bush as also done to his country's people. They ae both evil men who care for no one but themselfs. If you don't know this then you are a fool.

  • Well Said

  • Haha. I just love the way lefties try to associate Howard with Bush, cause Bush is so unpopular now and is a big dope, and this they can use to make Howard look bad. Sending some SAS into Iraq is nothing. The SAS are always somewhere carrying out aperations. Iraq was just one more, but lefties love the exagerate the situation and basically deceive, while saying stuff like "Howard is just a big liar". How stupid.

  • German im finding nearly all these lefties are proud communists and the rest of them dont even know they are communists meaning they are actual traitors to this country, Most of them dont even Vote and they engage in anarchy fuelling their anger while not knowing the Agenda that has control of them

  • Pretty intelligent words.

  • Hey powerbroker I'm finding most if not all Libs to be ignorant snobs who wouldn't know their country from a pile of John Howard's shit. I also find when they are swimming with desperation that they try and pull the plug, only to stumble across stories about heart surgery that happened 15 years ago or an Australian man visiting a strip club while on business.

  • Another thing. I noticed last U.S election that the tactics the Bush Admin. used to influence peoples opion is just like the Labor party does here during elections - not the Libs. Funny how people have forgotten so quickly about what Latham revealed about the ALP. They are the crooked party, not the Libs.

  • Howard is a Masked Jackal he is Dangerous. His Evil grin must not fool you.
