I love this show. Jim coming back to life wasn't to bad. Jumping 5 years was a good move,because having to carrying a fake baby around would ruin it. I think we should get a Ghost Whisperer movie.

I was not very happy with the big gap in their lives that took place in Season 5...In fact, I griped abt it every wk as I watched it, for a few mos, anyway! But I GOT OVER IT because I LOVE the show & the actors (though I miss Andrea & I was livid when Jay Mohr left!) The powers-that-be are WRONG that there aren't enough viewers to keep GW on for another 5 yrs!! Just because some viewers left over 5th season changes doesn't mean many wouldn't have come back!! PLEASE BRING OUR FAVE BACK 2 US!!
I loved Ghost Whisperer for the first 3 seasons, but seasons 4 and especially 5 got stupid. So I'm not surprised it got cancelled. I would've liked to seen how they would've farewelled it if they had known it was the final episode.

@RayneM2011 I completley agree. I find it got worse and worse as the seasons progressed. I loved the 1st and 2nd season, thought the 3rd and 4th were good but not nearly as good as the previous seaons and thought the 5th season was horrible. The show stopped being about average small town Melinda Gordan who can see and talk to the dead. I find they wanted to make the show more Hollywood fantasy than it was supposed to be and compromized what the show was about and what made it so special.
@lunalou10 It's not gonna happen the show got cancelled for a reason. I'm a huge fan but I'm one of the many that stopped watching it. The integrity of the show was lost somewhere near the end. The writers started to try too hard and it lost it's subtly which made it so good.

That show always made me happy, it's very sad that their will be no season 6, but I wish they didn't cancel it. How I want it to end? I really want to see Melinda's son grow up, the change in all the characters. I want to see a good ending where the shadows don't exist anymore, and an important message that means something to viewers in the end. I hate it when a story's not done, the show brought me exitement that I want to continue on with what I want to do in life, and be happy about it.

I hate it when a story's not done, the show brought me exitement that I want to continue on with what I want to do in life, and be happy about it.

if Someones to blame for this cancelation its not CBS, its the Writers.

Yes CBS was and is stupid for cancelling this show to replace that with Hawaii 5-o and other shows such ast 21/2 men where the main caractor is a violent person

Fewer people watched it cos they put it on a friday night...DEATH SLOT and they're lucky to have pulled 7m viewers with it being on a friday so they should have renewed it.

I started watching the show when Syfy picked it up due to watching something it competed against on CBS. I was really getting into it when the announcement of its cancellation came through.
