If owning a gun is your god-given right (as is self defense) any state or cities that impose laws making it next to impossible to own a gun, albe it legal, should be sued....ie over regulation to the point that no one wants to put the effort into owning a gun, or over pricing fees so no one can afford it- keep an eye on those states or cities that try this.

Our elected leaders are mostly descendants of the progressive school of thought where political pandering trumps the constitution. We need a real revolution this November and not just against the Democrats, but against all who have abandoned the constitution. Sadly that characterizes most Republicans also. Our Founders expected that The People would eventually have to revolt again and it seems that time could be approaching. Maybe nullification will provide the answer.

The more I hear about Kagan, the less enthused I am. She just seems too much like a blank slate, believing that ONLY what the Supreme Court says is what the Constitution REALLY means. Only those 9 folks can decide?? come on! I know they all have extensive legal backgrounds and whatnot, but surely they're not the only ones who can figure out what is and isn't constitutional. And sometimes they make mistakes.

The answer is "pre-existing right." Any patriotic, America-loving citizen would simply and promptly acknowledge that it is a God-given right that is acknowledged by the Constitution and therefore solidified in our nation's most foundational laws.

It's like when Obama was asked when life began, he gave an exhaustive answer which essentially said "who cares?"

Meanwhile Chuck Schumer, one of the biggest anti-2nd Amendment members of Congress, sat there without even looking at the GOA attorney.
