@markmeson To make it clearer why the Palestinians declined the partition plan in 1948 is because the Palestinians got only 41% of the land when the Jews are only 32% of the population and had only 6% of the land. the Zionists were able to market the idea because the Christian West was simply too racists and too Anti-Semitic to have too many "Jews" and wanted the "Jews" simply out of Europe.

All of the videos I've seen of israeli soldiers show them trying very hard to maintain order without being too imposing on civilians, while the whole time palestinians are being completely uncooperative and making things very difficult for them, like they WANT them to kill someone so they can say "ahah! look what you did now".

@markmeson The Palestinian Muslims AND christians who live in Israel consider themselves second class citizens and they face discrimination especially in the matters of housing and jobs. But nevertheless, they still consider themselves Palestinians and not Israelis, meaning that Israel haven't given them any sense of belonging. The nakba law for example, that was very "democractic".

All of the videos I've seen of israeli soldiers show them trying very hard to maintain order without being too imposing on civilians, while the whole time palestinians are being completely uncooperative and making things very difficult for them, like they WANT them to kill someone so they can say "ahah! look what you did now".

But nevertheless, they still consider themselves Palestinians and not Israelis, meaning that Israel haven't given them any sense of belonging. The nakba law for example, that was very "democractic".

Palestinian state with a capital of East Jerusalem (with complete control of the Haram al-Sharif, Masjid al-Aqsa, and the Dome of the Rock)and refugees right to return to their original homes.
(I hope you do know how Israel declared its independence).

If it was me, I'd cut my losses and call truce, because as far as I know, Israel was created by an international agreement which Palestine declined. As of now they have no leverage because they just attack and offer no solution. One side at least claiming to hold out their hand, the other spitting in their face. Maybe you are right, they are not genuinely looking for peace (though I think they are, obviously). But the world will never know because you don't give them the chance.

Don't even get me started with the contradictions in the quran, WHICH by the way, the hadith CLEARLY states had more than one version, & the other versions were ordered to be destroyed by fire.

@ohioguy7 "sane balance" that is what the rest of the world wants, BUT there are so many muslims who believe that book that tells them that the whole world is rightfully theirs, and so many more muslims who are willing to say, "sure, okay I'd live in that world" that the REST of the world is forced to defend itself from islam.
When you have a belief system that invokes people to slaughter everyone who doesn't join you, you HAVE TO remove it. You have no CHOICE. They MAKE you.

Where the quran is different, is that it is for all muslims of all ages, not specified for any one brutal/evil nation of people, but for all non-muslims of the ages.
