  • who is the monster in red at 1.45 doing the clean and press?

  • @markdemoridotcom Serge Reding

  • @mifster83 thanks

  • first song??????????????????????

  • SCOTTISH POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 8 people are weak little bitches

  • I love the way after the guys do deadlifts they hold the weight up and look around the room thinking 'I am a fucking boss'

  • It's nice that you included strong people from different sports and not just one sport. "Strong people are harder to kill than weak ones. And they are more useful in general." Mark Rippetoe

  • FUCK YEAAAHH, THIS VIDEO GETS ME SO AAAMPED

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

  • @dzydave0021 Are you blind? That's Kara Bohigian, man. She benches over four hundred pounds in competitions. That's actually 245 she's doing reps for. Wake up, man, and stop feeling so intimidated by a girl that you have to diminish her accomplishments.

  • pls name 1.song plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @26mar26tin26

Three days grace - Animal I have become

  • @xYouxLovedxItx Strongman competition. The competitor: Jon Pall Sigmarsson...RIP.

  • 2:00

  • holy shit :28 terrible form, goodbye back!

  • At 4:16 lifter drops load to floor after standing in squat. That's to suggest he's continuing to move the load. Gee.

  • Love this! I want to do something bad ass enough to go in one of these vids!!!

  • Whos the guy spotting behind the bar at 4:18 ?

  • Where are human limits?Who knows?

  • @xYouxLovedxItx ye, plis this song!!!

  • What`s that song?

  • @Wojowniqe three days grace - animal i have become

  • amazing video, super motivating dude...

  • check out the weights falling at 0:48 it looks fake to me. like the first two bounces dont touch the floor

  • @GetReal38 LOL thats a 3 time olympic gold medalist, khaki kakhiashvili. Have you ever touched weights before?

  • @kickdim of course, im not a fanboy though. Im not accustomed to seeing 420lbs drop though :)

  • @GetReal38 lol that much weight coming down that hard suprised it didnt bounce thru the fucken roof not fake mate

  • Whose the guy at 4:52? Squatting 6 plates like a beast.

  • Power Clean is my Favorite. Gotta stretch your wrists constantly tho

  • when those people deadlift 900 pounds, you have to think, not only do they have extremely strong backs and legs, but their grip force is unfathomable.

  • @adster2010 bro shes using 10 lb black rubber plates.. thats about 145-150 lbs max shes doin overhead presses with... dont let the trickery fool u..

  • @adster2010 bro shes using 10 lb black rubber plates.. thats about 145-150 lbs max shes doin overhead presses with... dont let the trickery fool u.. which is still goood for a chick but not ridiculous

  • when i saw the girl at 2:43 doing that much, my self confidence dropped due to feeling less of a man

  • @clickiti7 Just know she isnt natural.....Does any one know what the guy in the first video is doing??

  • Every time I saw a bar with about 500lbs on it I thought "Oh, a persons who lifts about what I do". Then they put it over their head... =/

  • @TigerTzu how do you lift it? rolling it on the ground, doing quarter squats, or one inch shrugs isnt lifting you know

  • @jakebrigand Hey Mr. judgemental asshole, I was talking about deadlifts. What you said doesn't even make sense given the context of my comment. =/

  • Great intensity..Really enjoyed the Olympic lifters.

  • Anyone know the tittle of the first song ? :>

  • it must feel awesome to have no room for more weight on a barbell your using

  • 0:29 FAIL DEADLIFT! BAD TECHNIQUE

  • @14gyuszi88 I'd like to see you lift that much weight.

  • @14gyuszi88 you have bad brain damage

  • Women muscle fibers are stronger than men's. However, most have less of it and therefore men tend to be stronger. This could explain 2:40.-That's some raw power

  • @OntarioBassFishing No womens muscle fibers are not stronger than mens.

  • @OntarioBassFishing looked up its fakes thats like 425 ,4 45s each side + 5s and seen here have trouble jerkin 120kg

  • @OntarioBassFishing Women muscle fibers are not stronger than mens. Where the hell did you hear this.

  • @xNewAgeWarriorx i think we all deduced it from real life results dumb fuck

  • @drewt9255 ....Was I talking to you, no? Go play in traffic or something. God, trolls nowdays are proactive.

  • Most of the guys in this video trains extremly high training volume, typical squat, bench, deadlift, clean and jerk, snatch or whatever they are trying to get good in all from 5-15 times a week. typical high sets like 20-50 and low reps 1-5. and they have trained many years to adapting into being able to whitstand this high training load-volume.

  • who is the lifter at 4:07 ?

  • @marilyn007monroe

    Francis Tournefier

  • haha 4:42 that'll rip your thumbs off if your not careful trust me.

  • who is that at 4.06? How is it possible to be that strong yet that lean? i.e. i've seen guys lift that much before, however they are fat fucks. Is it mainly down to genetics, or could anyone who take's up olympic weight lifting achieve that if they are dedicated enough? Cheers

  • wait wait wait the guy at 4:18 did 15lb raw dam he must me god or something maybe on steriods.

  • holy shit 1:18 hurt my knees

  • Good to see Andy Bolton in there - pride of England

  • Comment removed

  • Lmao at 4:19. 15 lbs my ass.

  • @thecrudmeister 715lbs

  • who is the guy at 5:48 he looks stronger than anyone

  • @SteezyTre Benedikt Magnusson (followed by Andy Bolton)

  • at least once a day i watch this vid

  • Freaks of nature!

  • @strongsean1000 Not Freaks. Just people reaching the uppermost potential that nature gave all of us.

  • @solorathain Yeah I know. I was just joking.

  • @solorathain Except Andy Bolton, he might be a freak.

  • @solorathain of course they're freaks. That doesn't mean they didn't work hard, but discounting the role of genetics in how well an athlete can ultimately perform is foolish

  • @solorathain well said !

  • This stuff is just excellent.

  • Actually the track is by Three days grace - animal ive become

  • ffff....fuuuuuuuckk!!! 1:50 !!!!! that guy is super strong!!

  • what is the name of the first song.

  • Who is the guy at 1:18? I like how he looks all casual, like some guy just fooling around in the gym wearing street clothes.

  • @bigislander72

Galabin Boevski. 2000 Sydney Olympic champion. He was a 69kg lifter.

  • @bigislander72

same here. look like just some random dude with superstrenght without having to train for it haha. great!

  • @bigislander72 galbian boveski, now banned for doping

  • @ShoutingAssasin that was jon pall I think.. A strongman from island, died really young from hearth failure. remember an interview of him, 10 000 calories daily was enough to maintain his strength, he used to be at somewhere around 20 000 while bulking..

  • I could be on this video for squats lol. But i'm way bigger than those guys. so it doesnt look as cool :( . I wish i could do cleans that much though. One day i'll get to 405 lol

  • what's the name of the 2nd song?

  • I guess i should rephrase that to "Many"

No but because they are strong and maintain low levels of body fat, have longer limbs and narrower hips they can put their strength to the test in other aspects of sport, im guessing that if more black athletes focused entirely on powerlifter or olympic lifting they would do just fine.

  • lol @ 1:29 it look's like he's taking a smoke out of his mouth after squatting 250kg hehe

  • who the hell is guy at 2;53 , animal

  • I always wanted to flip a car like that. I'll try with a smart car first. Hope they have insurance...

  • Maybay you should try it on your own car and everyone will be happy :o)

  • music: animal I've become by three days grace..

  • who is the guy at 1.20???

    Amazing squat

  • bulgarian weightlifter BW 69kg olympic champion in 2000 Glabin Boevski

  • hey what song is this? it sounds like seether maybe? or breaking Benjamin...you tube displays it as papa roach getting away with murder but it is definitely not that song

  • the first song is "the animal i have become" from three days grace ;)

  • THANX for posting it again with music- absolutely brilliant !!!

  • 1:45 wtf! How did he just press the bar like it was empty?!

  • holy shit!!! 2:55 who is that??

  • nick winters =)

  • The first song I want to know the title

  • Anybody can said me who is this song please? Thanks

  • lol that guy at 1:46 has awesome strength

  • the guy spotting at 4:17 is huge

  • 0:08 was awesome lol. If I run by and someone was doing that, I'd probably look at them the same way.

  • Damn. I dead lefted 450lbs without straps, and I only weigh 160lbs. I'm already half way to some major weight.

  • who is it squatting at 4:53

  • I think it's Ivan Chakarov, search him and you can see a video of him full squat 270 kg x 3.

  • pretty sure thats ivan chakarov. i think that's zlatan vanev right before him.

  • @vexxum i wanna say Martin Tešovič im not 100%

  • check out SAMURAI MIKE here on youtube, he challenges anyone, SAMURAI MIKE ROCK AND ROLL!!!

  • Great video, thanks for making it

  • wats the first song called???

  • papa roach getting away with murder

  • Wow. The clean and jerks are incredible!

And for you guys arguing about the muscle fibers, there is actually a fairly large spectrum of fibers, we just group them into "type 1, type 2a and type 2b" for convenience. Also, within a certain range, fibers can convert back and forth as an adaptation to current demands on the body. How you train will determine the current composition of your muscle fibers to a large degree.

  • How many types are there actually?

  • Quite a lot, I honestly don't remember. It's somewhere between 7 and 13, i think. My friend studies that stuff, I don't, sorry!

  • @slizzardman

Could you possibly get more information on those fibers if its not too much troube im verry curious.

If not just help me contact your friend

  • The 469lb lift at 2:05 is very impressive!

  • I had not heard of them before you told me thanks.

Lamar Gant is the one that amazes me the most!

  • @ 1:39 that is a crazy shallow dip. Wow.

  • It curious that you dont see any black people accomplishing feats of strength

  • look at 5:33. 200kg x 5rep front squat @70kg bw.

  • Ok ok you got me there

However you cant deny the disproportion of whites to blacks in the event.

I'm guessing they would rather take up other sports that they dominate in such as basketball/football event track and field. what do you think?

  • True. idk why they arnt alot of black people in strenght sports. Alot of black people got crazy genetics, just look at the bodybuilders. I think that its just not enough interest in strenght sports among black people, as you said, they dominate alot of sports, that involves strenght, boxing, football, backetball, track and field.

  • Yes most likely the reason.

I for example am half carribean and though my strength is considered quite remarkable i simply decided to apply it to the 100m dash, thats what i'm working on rightnow

  • Probably because few black people compete in powerlifting or strongman alone, they have more interest in sports such as gridiron, basketball, soccer, etc.

Also look up Lamar Grant, I think he was black and he managed to deadlift 5 times his own weight.

  • East africans have slow twitch fibers, thus marathon runners.

West africans have high amounts of natural test. but quite narrow pelvis, or hip structure so to speak. Therefore, they cannot lift as much because of slightly weaker posterior chain, core, and smaller base. but makes for great sprinting!! hence the jamaican dominance.

Those of central and east european descent have wide hips, that is why they can lift heavy, they have such a good base because of bone structure.

    All genetics.

  • Great info, that is what i was looking for!

so ulemper do you know any specifics about muscle fiber type because i have a curious mind and id like to expand my knowledge

  • In what ways? Ive read into it and There are 3 basic ones, slow twitch, fast twitch A and fast twitch B.

Slow twitch is long distance, not very big, fast twitch A I think is the big bodybuilder 6-8 rep muscles while fast twitch B is the smaller more compact low rep powerlifter muscles.

that is one of the reasons powerlifters are stronger than the bigger body builders.

  • ok which type is more dominant in sprinters type 2b or type 2a?

My coach is training us rightnow to have a lot of muscular endurance so that we can cope with the last part of a 100m or 200m in an effort to reduce the deceleration phase. And we havent started in the weightroom yet but i have gained a good 10lbs of this type 2a muscle so far. So which is more important for sprinting?

  • I am not a coach, so by all means listen to him more than me, but type 2a is the way to go. Do not overdo the volume tho, as the type 2b fibers can convert into type 2a, and for a sprinter that would be a loss. They cannot convert the other way around either, unless you simply take a break from training.

thus, for less deceleration (higher lactic acid threshold) type 2a is perfect, but do not sacrifice type 2b in the process, power is still number one in 100m.

  • Oh, and type 2b seems to be the most dominating in most sprinters, sorry, forgot to mention that!

  • You are very knowledgeable in the subject i am impressed!

So when guys like in the beginning of this video are showed hanging from poles and performing movements of great static strength; what fibers does that require? i would say type 2a but these men dont look bulky at all

  • thank you, I am still learning tho, and keep in mind that the technique through the 5 phases is most important, through the last 25m you should reduce the duration of foot strike to make up for slowing legs.

Static strength would require 2b, just like your lowerback and hamstrings are not bulky, but can generate alot of static power per unit. they also have high neuromuscular efficiency, which enables them to activate a higher percent of muscle fibers than average people.

  • Could i reduce the duration of strike time by using my calves more and bounding when i hit the ground; and in doing so using the elastic properties gained through plyometric training?

    btw wher are you from?

  • nvm i just saw on your profile Norway.

well sir you are a very neat person to chat with!

    what do you study in?

  • Check your inbox

  • i know some stuff about muscle fibers, depending on what sport you want to lift and gain muscle there are 2 basic fiber types- quick twitch fibers and delayed fibers. delayed fibers are used more in long distance running like soccer and quick twitch fibers are used in sports where directional change is frequent, such as football, baseball and basketball. hope i could be of some assistance.

  • @11clemmi they may not have any of the huge world records but a ton of black athletes do extraordinarily well at all of the strength sports.

  • @11clemmi search for hannibal for king, you'll see crazy shit.

  • @areAretard

Yes ive seen his vids before, what a human being...

i couldnt imagine fighting the guy he would be a slab of concrete

  • @11clemmi You must be color blind 5:20

  • I lol'd at the music.

  • human flag is crazy same with 1:43

  • superhuman lifts

  • who is the guy at 1:48 i cant make out his name?

  • Serge Redding

  • LOL 1:58

  • all the squats are deep as fuckkkk excellent lifting in this vid.

  • 5:33 Dabaya is Crazy. 200kg x 5 front squat @ 70kg bodyweights, thats almost 3x your bodyweight, with perfect technique for 5reps. Insane.

  • 4:53 atg with 500+ lbs holy shit!!!!!

actually that's not the only one but he seemed to be the one who went the deepest

  • whats the guys name at 0.55?

  • Lol at 4:18 it says 15lbs raw lol

  • durr@you it says "715"

  • It says 715lbs raw

  • Look one more time, and you will see that it stands 715 lbs.

  • Unbelievable - he only weighs 152lbs!! That is sick. I have to hit the weights harder and smarter.

  • 1:17 Wow!!! Who is this beast? Massive weight for his size.

  • Galabin Boevski, 69kg weightlifter for Bulgaria

  • Comment removed

  • 1:43 is the most impressive thing i've ever seen

  • I was waiting for that moment, because I thought "well the whole video is impressive, nothing can really stand out above the rest".

    HOLY SHIT, that was impresssive.

  • Any NFL players care to try the 228? I bet not. Put to shame by a LIBRARIAN, no less.

  • football player bench 245 just at the combine. Plus i Bench 350 and im a senior in high school

  • football player bench 225....30+ reps

  • uf... qué pasada

  • its amazing how some o lifters weigh half of what powerlifters do and yet are arguably just as strong...

  • theyre too different...dont get this argument started

  • don't shet your undies

  • What is the second song?

  • papa roach- getting away with murder

  • 1:45 -1:55 not even any leg put into the press lol.

  • the olympic competition used to consist of 3 movements.. the snatch, clean and jerk, and press. he wasnt allowed to

  • oh. that one was the press right?

  • yep =)

  • what sucks is he lost the competetion to and next guy used a ton of leg he was gipped

  • yeah, but it's whatever way works for you, maybe that guy didnt find legs helpful in the lift.

  • It is the olympic press though, google it. It does use technique, different than the regular military press. So there is some leg drive in it even though you can't tell. Still ridiculous to have 502lbs fly over your head like that.

  • I know how the hell did he even do that!
