  • Just what I was looking for in term of operations. Thank you! You guys have made a very realistic video while showing a very good sense of camera location, timing, etc.

  • Looks like your going for the quit.

  • how do the trains switch tacks can u make me video for me please

  • This is beast

  • That was perferct.5*****

  • Awsome layout, want more!

    Wayray

  • where'd you get the southern pacific switcher?

  • looks great, love the sound system , ive been lookinginto adding this feature myself. are there any disadvantages of it over the advantages?

  • Um,, the sounds you hear are dubbed in using windows movie maker. :/

  • where are you guys? I'll help you out anytime.

    I have...

    (1) SD40-2

    (2) GP38-2's

    (1) GP9

    (3) FT units (two A's and a B)

    umm, a 0-4-0 tank engine

    uhh, gotta think hard now.

that's all I can think of right now.

    santa fe all the way!

  • Awsome layout, engines, cars and sound. I'm glad you added the caboose. I still believe in cabooses. Forget the FRED's/EOT's. SP or UP/SP? UP and UP/MP for me. I like to mixed it up too with CNW, MKT, MP, SP, SSW, SP and WP. I don't have a layout (yet) but a lot of engines and cars. (In NY. Long story). Got any MOW, military trains or heavy duty flatcars? Anyway superb video and layout. Hope you post more videos. GOOD JOB!! Highball!! Gary Barnett Poplar Bluff, MO

  • Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I can't see any of my trains without a caboose on it. I don't own any military stuff, or heavy duty flatcars (yet). I"m slowly getting MOW equipment and figures collected.

  • How the hell did the engine uncouple from the small cut of cars. A decoupler?

  • There is an ucoupling magnet placed between the rails.

  • Hi mtrails, I like the headlight effect on your switcher using only one half of the light housing exactly the way SP did their prototype switchers. I lived in Southern California for many years and remember seeing this while chasing SP trains. Why did UP have to swallow up such a great railroad! Long live Southern Pacific!

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Awesome layout. Where is this?

  • It's the YVMRC club layout in billings montana

  • what scale is it? HO, N, or Z?

  • HO scale

  • HOW BIG ARE IN CM THESE TRAINS

  • Helloween1987,

    The answer is 1000cm.

  • very nice

  • will there ever be a third??

  • Eventually. Thanks!

  • how did u get your couplers to do that funny "de-attaching" thing when the grain cars were moved by the switcher early in the vid?

  • The coupler's weren't coupled during the shove...

  • WOOOW AMZING WORK

  • Thanks!

  • Very True!

  • The 1 And Only un-realistic thing about your'r Layout is the Caboose. Buy some "FREDS"

  • Nothing un-realistic about using cabeese in it's relative time period... The club policy is that all trains must have a caboose or Fred. Noone wants a caboose on their BNSF train, nor does anyone want a Fred on their steam train! :)

  • so true ;)

  • the caboose is COOL! DONT DISS THE CABOOSE! ive seen railroad use them NOWADAYS!

  • Im just open mouthed!!!!!!! Ah very relistic, actually, im just like the trains, and scenary, but you have something more, the "realistic" operation, all those sounds oh yeahh!!!

  • your train set makes mine look like crap! Very well make set

  • Look in your rule book, Yard Speed Young man!!!!!!

  • im relle lovin the autoracks...nice job..

  • man that train was having to work hard!
