John your story has both brought me to tears and inspired me. I too am in need of a kidney transplant. Iv'e been on dialysis for the past 6 years I am 45yrs old With purpose left. I have 4 beautiful children and a wife that helps me fight to live. My six year old son is a gift from God he was born the day I recieved my dialysis access! Dear John while searching for a new kidney you should be aware that it is now (outside of the US), possible to make a kidney transplant outside your own bloodgroup meaning that the donor can still be of a different blood type than your own. There is a Swedish company called Glycorex that have a product that can filter out the antibodies from the kidney. The product has been approved in Canada and a number of countries but still not the USA. Contact the FDA and put some pressure

Dear John, by now you should be aware that there are donors out there in the world although not the same type bloodtype as yours but there is a Swedish company Glycorex that have a product that filters out the antidotes from the donor kidney so when cleaned, will be able to transplant a kidney in no time for you.

In Sweden you can make a transplant even if your bloodtypes are not the same. There is a kind of filter and you need to "wash" your blood but it's definetly possible!
