As a male over 50, I totally diagree with their method of removing snow, except for the warm clothing. The correct method is as follows. 1. Make sure the shovels are hanging on the wall of your garage. 2. Open the garage door. 3. Press the electric start button on your snowthrower. 4. Adjust the chute. 5. Repeatedly go up and back on your driveway trying at all times to throw as much snow as possible on the driveway of the neighbor you don't like.

Step 1: Really? Maybe a quick run before. And you have to think about what you eat. If you have a lot of show you might need to eat something with protine for like a week before you start.

Step 2: Never put clothes on while beeing outside if you can avoid it. Put clothes on while beeing warm so you keep the warmth inside the jacket. Oh, and I shovel show in Converse or vans all the time. Its not about skidsoles, Its about where you put your feet.

Non-stick spray doesn't work. Here's what I do - rub the shovel with furniture poish and allow to dry at room temp, then get/keep it cold. This will work with all kinds of snow (unless the sun is shining when you're shoveling)
