It makes up for it's lower damage with an increased fire rate.

It's also more stable allowing you to keep up accurate sustained fire.

It's just as accurate as the ACR.

And the iron sights are just a matter of opinion really. I have no problem with them :L

The M4A1 is better, I've used both extensively, I know what i'm saying.

the only reason why it is so good is because it has so predictable recoil just strait up. and u dont have to hold down the trigger u can burst fire which is the idea with that gun.

the reloading is messed up on this gun, when you reload before the clip is empty it goes faster, but when u completely run the clip out and reload it it does this extra animation..it actually got this guy killed around the 2 minute mark of the video.

IMHO, the G36 is the best "sounding" assault rifle, it makes a sweet racket. When you put a silencer on it is sounds like shit, as does the SCAR. For some reason the ACR & FAD still manage to sound ballsy with silencers.

This, of course, has nothing to do with practicality of the guns, but if I hate the sound a gun makes I don't love using it.

This gun is good, but not great. There are so many nice weapons and the G36C is nice but doesn't out-shine any of the other assault rifles. So basically this gun isn't like, oh man my team is getting owned, its time to pull out my best, most reliable gun (this is not the G36C). The M4A1, SCAR-L, CM901, and ACR 6.8 out-shine the G36C.

I didnt like it in MW3. In other games they make it out as an accurate carbine, but in MW3 it has too much climb. That and i like to use iron sights for all weapons, but for the G36C has the worse sights.

It really is a stronger gun in normal matches, and obviously has a one or two shot kill in hardcore. I agree with the iron sites being a distraction as well. I shall try this with silencer and kick proficency to get the best results!

I love the G36C. It's my main gun for 5 prestiges now. It's pretty hard to use at first especially if you use the iron sights. The silencer really helps though. Overall it's a really solid gun.

I loved it in COD4, and if you are pretty good at controlling the recoil it can be a beast in MW3. There is one special quirk to the G36C that most other guns don't have: The first shot will NEVER recoil. So essentially you can shoot semi-auto with literally no recoil it all, the recoil only starts on the 2nd or 3rd shot when going full auto. So its awesome at extremely long ranges when semi-auto or burst firing.
