  • i don't think that guitar has a screamin demon in it unless the previous owner switched out the black allen head screws for chrome ones. nice guitar though.

  • @wpmtpm Nope, the screaming demon came with the guitar from the shop as seen on the original bill of sale and factory sheet that the guy who sold it to me wisely kept its very well documented. After talking to a few techs at the ESP shop i was told that back when they made LTDs sometimes things were a bit rushed and parts meant for ESPs were put in LTDs as in pick ups, better vol pots, better tuners ect. now since they are done overseas BG pick ups are the standard and inexpensive tuners

  • @wpmtpm overseas as in China...

  • @espltdguitarlover In 2003 i bought an original ESP serpent with the screaming demon, schaller tuners, and a schaller branded floyd rose and it was branded ESP custom shop on the back of the headstock and a hard case for $1300.00 and there was no flaws on it so what did i do after about 6 months i sold it like a dumbs man i miss it.

  • @wpmtpm Not good.. that is now worth about 2500 to a collector like me..

  • Not too sure on the Tremolo being an ORIGINAL FLOYD from the factory. Possibly modded, as the Duncan Designed pickups are stock on the original Korean GL 500Ks! That one there was modded for sure with USA Duncans Bro. Great Review!

  • @phallystorm I talked to a couple of techs at ESP and they told me back when these were being made allot of times original Floyds and Seymour Duncans (not the designed by) destined for the ESP brand got put into the LTDs.. this was done for purely getting the job done due to demand.. I was also told that allot of the techs used on the older LTDs also set up the custom shop ESPs. this is why I like collecting the older LTDs and ESPs.. the story's behind them..lol. thanks for watching

  • The gl500k has a much thinner shaved neck, its within spec of Georges "c" profile but you will feel a difference. Personally you should get used to all types of neck contours, its a challenge to switch profiles and makes you more adaptable to all styles of guitars and fingering positions. The newer release Gl200k i was told that it too had an original 500k type feel also. Out of all of Georges guitars i always recommend the Serpent 600, its a kick ass guitar. Check ebay there are 2 today for 500

  • I have the esp ltd gl200mt and i love the neck on it.... how does this model comapir to it...i have a chance to buy one but want the neck contour to be the same..like i said i love the neck on the tiger...thanks

  • Thank you

  • very nice!

  • Irene just caused allot of power problems here so i chose not to run the amps for fear of a brown out or voltage surge. Even though i have a furman voltage conditioner and grounded strips i still didn't play for 3 days. I did discover that a zoom g2g along with a scholtz rockman sound excellent when the power is off..

  • it sucked because my room flooded from hurricane irene and I had to move all my equipment out of my room(Amps, Guitars,Speakers,PA ect.) but i was so happy once everything was back to normal and I could play again :).
