  • My cat would never go for a walk. Even though she was born a stray and was born outside. I brought her in when she was just 7 weeks old because of a blizzard we have. I took her up to my room and kept her there all winter so she wouldn't fight with my other 2 cats. Well now I have a hard enough time getting her to leave my bedroom, I would literally have to drag her if I tried to take her for a walk.

  • My Mau's voice can be heard BLOCKS away when she wants to be. I found her balanced on a pipe under an SUV at the Post Office when she was small enough to hide in my one hand . She looks *just like your Griffen* but smaller and yes, she too is also EXTREMELY intelligent. When I can, I'll post you a video of her. One question though; her cat-smell seems to be a bit wilder than a domestic cat's smell. Does Griffen have that tangy wild smell in his fiur too?

  • I got a cat that looks exactly like this, has the same spots and stripes, even the white pouch underneath. He was at the shelter - all we had to pay for was his shots. I can't believe anyone (even a new yorker) was dumb enough to pay 600 bucks for a cat.

  • You're jealous though somewhat right ;)

  • nice, another animal lover, cats have personality, what crap! annoying!!!

  • Ok I must say, instead of waiting for months to adopt a cat that happens to be purebred, why not just addopt a cat from your local pet shelter, those cats need a home too, and most of the time, you will get as much love, if not more love from homeless cats than normal cats...

  • Amen... amen.

  • I see your point. I have a Mau/American short hair mix who came from a shelter. But purebred Egyptian Maus are hard to come by, although "smpfilms" (dude with the mean kitty video) was able to get a purebred from a shelter. Some people want to be able to say they have a purebred cat, and a cat from a breeder needs a home just as much as a cat from a shelter.

  • You own a very beautiful animal.

I am on 4-6 month waiting list a waiting list atm.

If anyone knows someone selling Egyptian Mau kittens (Of the smoke variety)please msg me.

I can't wait to own such an intelligent animal :D

  • I managed to get on another breeders list. Should be getting him next sunday he will be 13 weeks old XD (I will be posting many videos of him)

  • damn beautiful and damn tasty.

  • There are a few breeds that will take to a leash, though not many, and not like a dog will. Eguptian maus are one of the few breeds of cat that will. Its not so wierd once you've seen it a few times. They take it much better than being caged to go somewhere.

  • Not really...Egyptian maus are basically dogs in a cat suit.

  • @MetallicAuptuned fuck dogs

  • I walk my burmese cat and ironically enough my other cat is a purebred mau but she is scared to death of the outdoors. go figure.

  • The egyptian mau is a beautiful breed. You people giving him crap about walking his cat on a leash need to realise that different animals like different things and many cats enjoy a walk.

  • i have one but mine is black and white. he is just a kitten. These r the only breed that you can walk. I know that because i am egyptian myself.

  • dont say poor cat becouse the cat use a necklace! egyptian mau is the only cat who acually like being walked with like a dog..

  • actually it's your response that is incoherent. They are not common housecats. Egyptian Mau's are known for their extreme intelligence, which is one of the reasons that they were worshipped in ancient Egypt. Perhaps you might consider that some breeds are capable of doing things that are not normal for more common breeds. Egyptian Mau's are also known as Magical Beings! I would love to hear your thoughts on that!

  • ya!

  • I loved this video! I have a Mau as well and I just bought her a harness so she could come outside with me. I think she'll really enjoy the outdoors.. it seems like yours sure does! :) Thanks for sharing!

  • griffin is more intelligent than most other cats and he likes to go out on the leash from time to time.

  • omg! your cat is very pretty! an egyptian mau is my dream cat, and Griffen is better than any of my cats

  • Oh my god! your cat is gorgeous!!!

  • my bengal and egyptian mau are cuter and smarter and just better lol

  • u should of had "walk like an egyptian" playing in the background.

  • a silver egyptian mau...where did you get him?

  • beautiful cat

  • My cats are better...lol

  • steve your cats are....nevermind i'm not gonna dis your cats...but i dare you to post a video of them and see if combined they equal the intelligence of my egyptian mau lol

  • so beautiful...i want one! haha
