people say that reel wheel drive is best fot drifting but for me the 4w drive grip is better because reel wheel drive u have to overcorrect too much and 1 wrong move and u dead but 4w drive ther is more space for mistakes and the car is more in control and not have to be overcorrectin too much. thats my opinion

idk but just make sure your not using a front wheel drive... very hard to start and maintaine your grip in the slide of drift...

4WD drifting is easier, that's right.

But RWD drifting is better because you can do longer drifts since the front axle does not pull the car forwards :)

fiam when u enter a drift hit e break with circle then quick rev up bye triangle make sure u get the right angle and when ur drifting counter-steer and make ur throttel med-high depending on it!

turn all ASM off....for beginners a suggest to set the suspension with hard rear absorber medium front and "negative chamber for rear" "o chamber for front"anti roll bar "6@front" "1-3@rear"...then fine tune ur setup...i would like to suggest for using "original turbo kit" which available in "tuner house"

hey if u use a modified suspension, u get less control so stick with the stock ones. and for the understeering ones, leave the asm understeer to lv.10!

no, you got to turn them off otherwise it will be very difficult to drift!

maybe try to vary ur speed, maybe u'r entering the corner too fast or maybe ur angle is too high. Watch there factors and it should be fine, oh and counter-steer only when required.

coz im using Sports Soft and my car is a Mazda RX-7 Type RZ 1993 im using it coz FR cars are good at drifting =)oh and now i just noticed that Trial Mountain is the easiest place to practice drift

Just keep praticing. And try other ways of entering the corner. Maybe try to enter the corner a little bit slower, or reduce the angle, and maybe reduce the counter-steering, and watch out for the acceleration, be kind with it :)

Love the chain drift... I'm gonna try it too! since I bought GT4 for the ps2 on my ps3 :P - I'm standard good at drifting in live for speed but GT4 is more difficult

the key to drifting is standard road front and standard comfort rear with the intial torque set to 40 then just about any car is easy to drift i'm in the process of editing my drift video no so you'll see it worsk great!

of course by equiping the 2 different tires will make the car oversteer easily but no technique is applied... by learning the technique u can basically drif any car (stock or tuned)

In initial D they clutch kick most of the time, wehatch the DVDs, ull see it, u can only clutch kick in manual TM in GT4, and its only sorta.

it doesn't work as a tutorial because that car is a extrem tuning. Try that whit a stock car and will nover work. And that isnt the way to drift..you just lock the rear tyres and star to drift...I wana see someone who know how to drift like in initial D.

Drifting like Initial D?? <-- it doesnt mean anything, and I wonder if u know that Initial D is actually an anime... so everything is draw... they can easily pull out something like a 120degrees drift lol... they are not using a lot the notion of car physic
