I LOVE how Pearl Jam gave the mainstream (MTV, record companies, ticketmaster...) the middle finger and did things their own way. They are STILL making great music 20 years later, their inspirations change and their music has evolved over time. Still together as a band, same founding members... in it for the music.

And they still play great live shows too!! :) Love them or hate them, Pearl Jam has accomplished what few bands from the 90's -- or ever -- have done.
