Who ever produced the song really did a terrible job.. They totally messed the vibes. When I mean Produced I mean not the artist them self's but the guy who contrals the volumes and eq of the Final song and mixes it to make it sound good.
@3Nex Saw them live in River Falls, WI they rock. They got everyone involved, gave them percussion instruments. The kids there had so much fun. I wish there were more like Alma D. See them, it feels so good.
Hey you need to play harder and bring up that bass, the bassline MAKES this song. so bring up that volume and tell him to give it extra funk and it would sound freaking AMAZING
I think this is the best song these guys have, but it doesn't seem as powerful as when I heard it on the Merton video. That's just my personal opinion.
@6Psycho6Soldier6 I agree. I think it is Merton's expression when they started playing that got me. They seems to be more into it when playing on the street. Good song!

@Givemeyourpants This is very likely, but even when I go back and watch it, it feels more full on the other version. This version feels like its missing something.
@6Psycho6Soldier6 It's because the bass isn't strong enough. Don't you think? In the Merton video the bass player is really going at it, and it really empowers the song. No so much here. Still a cool track though.

@3Nex I didn't do anything to the song. This is the version that I downloaded from itunes. I agree though, the bass makes this song 10x better.

@6Psycho6Soldier6 I think you dont think its as powerful because when you watched it on Mertons video it was unexpected.

@Slarklesadface I think it's a mix between that and the drums. THe drums seemed more encompassing in the Merton video.
Like you said, still a cool song, just not as cool as the "original."

@6Psycho6Soldier6 studio vs live acoustic are two different things. mixing tends to take emotion out of a piece
