I am very glad to see La Tourrette Sensei is still active. I have a large book collection, couple hundred or so. One of my favorites is The Mental Training of a Warrior (the pages are well worn). I have read it a number of times, especially as a young Yudansha in the early 1980's. There are so many self proclaimed Kenpo people out there, the various Ryu are becoming more and more watered down as well as many disrespectful practitioners.

I've actually trained with Doc. This man is amazing. The best trainer on the planet in this and in Peak Performance Training.

I've met Doc and he is an incredible trainer, Phd in Sports Psychology. He knows his stuff.

Not only is he faster than anyone I've seen before on youtube or in person, he is funny. Bet he makes a great trainer with a sense of humor like that. kenpo bitch slapping. I rolled on the floor with that one.

I look at the photos of him and the three other guys in cammys and conclude he did some military time. That's even better! He reminds me of Michael Echanis, 1 of Dr Joo Bang Lee's prize students. He was killed in a plane crash in '78, a serious loss.
