@dayshine100 Really, is that what you got out of this interview? Unbelievable! Listen again, take notes, and then look everything up for yourself.. All 100% fact, and 100% scary. Most religious people are lazy thinkers, willing to take things on "faith" because the person feeding them the information claims to be a Christian. Warren Smith is simply saying what needs to be said!
Matt 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible." There are so many different bible translations now and it can be confusing to people as to which one to read. The bible says not to add or take away from the Word and The Message version does this. We should read the bible whose translation is closest to the original text written in Hebrew.
i have to add another word of caution to this video. while the host kelly, means well, she has truly no idea on what scale that all churches, not just the megachurches, but all in general are so far gone, never teaching about repentance, using the tithes of its parishioners to pay for their houses, cars and motorcycles and other toys, their kids' college educations, vacations, never giving that money to the needy IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES - just get in the word as you may not FIND a decent church
THE KJV is not the High Holy word of God,..in fact it has mistakes in it! We know that now,.. to say otherwise is stubborn ignorance and arrogance. We have much better translations. It is not bad,.. but it is not "IT"... unless you read the greek and hebrew you are not reading the what Jesus read...in fact JESUS CHRIST is the only actual WORD of God. You are looking for problems? Kelly do you scoff at every translation mentioned? Where are your conversations with Warren and Peterson?
@Kealnt71 The reason we use the KJV is because it is the closest translation to ever exist. God also saw fit to bless us with something called the "Strong's" concordance whereby we "ourselves" can go back to the original Greek and Hebrew and see the original words and meanings. You CANNOT do this with any other Bible available. All other bibles are for making money and miss leading people. The KJV with an older Strong's Concordance is the only way to go, unless you like to be misled.
@Kealnt71 praise god for your post. i started reading from the new living translation yeeears ago and using concordances with it and i can't tell you how many times i have rebuked so called christians just because i have been learning all i know that jesus said straight from the new living translation which has all kinds of scriptures that have been blatantly omitted from other translations including that precious kjv.
Stay with the King James version. Pray without ceasing. Pray for our beloved country. Jesus Christ IS the Son of God and is worthy of all praise. God bless.

@Strefanasha We're told throughout the Word of God to expose those who're in sin and leading the flock astray! For just one of those, read: 1 Timothy 5:20 These false preachers are leading OUR brothers and sisters away from OUR Father, and as loving brothers and sisters, it's our duty to scream it out at the top of our lungs in the hope that OUR (that's yours and mine) brothers and sisters will come back to the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus, and be free from this bondage of sin!
I knew about Rick Warren through research I had done & felt the same way when I read "Purpose Driven Life" Tried to warn my church group when they decided to use it for a group study - Even after showing tons of proof to the leadership, the pastor INSISTED that we would use the book & videos by Warren & if I wanted to continue to attend group, I could not say anything negative about it. I left the group & the church. I believe they are blinded & am praying God open their eyes.
The new age is the Age of Aquarius, as I understand it. I grew up during the "celebration" of the upcoming age. Today, we have the "emergent" church, which presumes it was "submerged," songs about the "rain man," prosperity preachers, and occult symbology everywhere. Like "Bedezzled," what good are wheelbarrels full of one hundred dollar bills if all they will buy is a pint of milk?
Thank you so much for this!! These are trully the last days. I was never led to read the purpose life or the shack. Now I see why. Now Kelly thank you for your input. However at point 140 in the video and other places you seem to be speaking out of turn being a female. Although I would be a fool to compare this specific reference in Numbers to Warrens position. Please consider these verses and see if it bears witness in your heart. If not be blessed still.
I hope more Baptist churches turn back to the King James Bible, Bible preaching, godly living standards, the old church hymnal, Sunday School instead of allowing pop-culture worldliness, trashy culture, megachurch deception, worldly entertainment addiction to lead the church astray.
Warren's teaching is not a fad. It came down from the United Nations, and the teaching of Blavatski, Bassant, and Manly P Hall, well known satanists. Hall called it releasing the seething energies of Lucifer. Luciferian's don't worship a diety so much as they worship themselves. The bible clearly says that the works of our own hands are unacceptable as sacrifices. Where Warren is teaching god loves the works of our hands. Totally Masonic teaching.
Thank you for posting this. The reason this expose' is persuasive, is because it does not come off as an emotional rant, but an intelligent, sensitive concern for the truth.
Gosh, at the end of part 1 of this video series, I took out my copy of the message NT (which I had not touched for ages) and turned to the Lord's prayer. The phrase "as above, so below" immediately stuck out as something i had read before in a NWO teaching context! I never liked this book for its extreme liberty-taking with the original Greek but now I'm truly horrified! And I did not even have to wait for Rick Smith pointing this out, it was so obvious.
"As above, so below" is used in the freemasons. Its used by the god baphomet. Google baphomet his three fingers points up and three point down. If you look at the Washington monument in front of the refecting pool, with the reflection "as above, so below". I aske a friend on facebook that is a mason and I asked him what does "as above, so below" means to him, he never answered. That should tell something.
There is no new age..it is the same old tricks that the devil has used, it is so slight and it takes time to see it..every book should read using prayer first..occultic writings will give you headaches and as the woman say..nausea...
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 2Cr 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, this woman says stay in your "church" if you hear these things you need to leave instantly per Gods word so your not destroyed with the harlot churches of this world read the bible KJV
I have read a lot about Rick Warren from many different sources, and the conclusion I always come to is, it's best to steer clear of him and his teachings. DON'T DRINK HIS KOOLAID FOLKS! Also take note of the names Rob Bell, Joel Osteen, Brian McClaren , Doug Pagitt to name a few and do some research they are all Wolfs in sheep clothing ready to lead you astray!
Rick Warren feeds people a feel good Christianity that is very sugar coated and luke warm. His book says things what peoples' itching ears want to hear (say wasn't that prophesied in the Bible of what will happen in the last days?). How often does he mention repentance and turning away from the world? Rick Warren is a joke.
Read the scriptures yourself instead of some man's take on it.
@Aliveinme2010 if you were brought to Christ by Rick Warren, lol, then you really don't know Christ, the REAL Christ anyways. Go by what JESUS taught, not some new age guru. And YES, the above and below hoopla IS new age.
Woe onto you, for many false teachers have entered into the world, Red flag started when Saul of Tarsus was placed higher then Christ by the churches of the world. His easy message of grace was placed higher then the Heavenly Fathers commandments and mankind's obediences to the law. Learn from the Christ own words in Matthew and John for in this the strait and narrow path that will lead you back to the Heavenly Father learn from his hand selected apostles Matthew 10:2-4.
Yeah that as above so below shit is occultic, if you know anything at all you must know this is basically Satan worship. Don't you realize the folks who rule the world are Satanists? Come on now it's not like the bible has never been used to control people, but it's the best guide we have. Lady Gaga, Rick Warren we know you work for the NWO, but that's ok cause Christ is coming back to settle the score.
"as above so below" im pretty sure Rick meant as it is in heaven so make it on earth, you know what you bind in heaven is bound on earth, reveal yourself God through the light of the glorious gospel of Christ. Look Rick warrens book helped change mylife by getting me closer to God. Jesus said " I am the way I am the truth and I am the life" so i when Gods spirit came in to life, I was growing with him and this book did HELP me grow closer to God
@Aliveinme2010 Be careful.. as a new Christian there are many things that can easily mislead you. Check EVERYTHING you read and hear with the Bible. (Even then some take it out of context.) Use the Bible as your primary guide....(It seems the more famous this pastor gets the more his message changes- so be careful...)
Fact is i was once involved in the new age movement for about a year and a half, so i know thier teachings and i never found one thing that ever lead me to belive that Rick is in the occult because he is not, if he was his book would have never helped me. I highly reccommend people read it and study it and you will see its not occultic, these people are just too skeptical
JESUS SAID"have i no told you that you are gods(devine)" what the hell are these two talking about when they say god is not everywhere???thats not christianity.Jesus also said" be holy AS YOUR FATHER(GOD) is holy" we CAN be like god why would jesus tell us to do something that wasnt possible...christianity as we know it is bullshit!!!!
@WORLDWIDE187HUT We are the temple as well we follow what GOD says then we are his children its quite simple. But many will say they are and are not why do you think the path is narrow and many wont find it.
@WORLDWIDE187HUT When they were referring to that, they were talking about the section of Rick Warren's book on page 88 where it mentions "as above so below" - that's a witchcraft & occult phrase. BTW, Saddleback Church is not a Christian type of Church and they also talk about that in this video series.
One tellale sign that professing "christians" like Warren are false teachers (or at the very least severely "deceived" christians) is that they regularly "use" and "quote from" umpteen versions of the "Bible" (Check the copyright page of his "Purpose Driven" book and you'll see what I mean). This is confusion, and God is not the Author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33). Stick with the good ol' King James, and not the bible "flavor of the week".
"As above, so below" is an occult saying, however, it is the genuine interpretation of that scriputure. So, there's really no problem there. However, Rick Warren is a false teacher in my opinion.
Dueteronomy 4:7 "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for." God is in all things that give glory to him. That's what Rick Warren is saying on page 88 of his book. It's totally compatable with the scriptures.
this teaching is new age hooey, and it is extremely contrary to scripture. "as above so below" is the highest level satanist philosophy there is. and rick warren is touting it as his own. He is indeed a false teacher, and of the synagogue of satan. you can't serve two masters. impossible.
with scripture. To be specific, the Lord's prayer. "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Rick Warren praises God, so he is in no such way endorsing New Age. I praise God for Rick Warren. He's teaching it right, and he has the right character to make a big influence on this world in the name of Jesus. Praise God!
@MrSMS1976 You should watch Roger Oakland's expose on Rick Warren. I also thought as you are thinking about Rick Warren. In fact I still have his Purpose Driven Life book. However, the Bible warns about deception in the end times. From my research Rick Warren is part of the apostasy deception.
Many religious movements have borrowed concepts from Judiasm/Christianity. However, God had always choosen to reveal his glory through what man used for evil (Genesis 50:20). God is revealing his glory over the occults through Rick Warren. The problem with religion is that it requires a written source or word of mouth to be known. Both can be silenced; however, God's truth is omnipotent and omniscience, for God is truth. One can know the truth w/o a bible (Romans 2:14-15).
The bible is a written account of one's concience as viewed down through the coridors of time through the person of Jesus Christ. You may say that one can sear there conscience. That means that God's truth remains within them, but men suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1). Sear is rendered from the Greek word "kauthriavzw".
I resepctfully disagree. God's will for man is revealed in his Word - the Bible. It says that faith comes from hearing the word. Rom. 10:17. The Bible commands us also to test the spirits. 1 Jn 4:1. This is to discern whether they are from God. Rick Warren's brand of theology, although Biblically sound at the start, eventually brings you to Robert Schuller's heretical teachings. Unfortunately for Rick Warren, his lies were caught on video. I don't think that's what Rom. 2:14-15 means.
The bible guides us on how to apply what we already know. That which is written on our conscience (Romans 1;2). We need guidence in a world of increasing complexity. A written source of authority, educates us in the application of that truth that the devil may not trick us in its application. We come to saving faith through the natural inward revelation of Christ. The bible teaches us specifics which allow us to engage in a more intimate relationship with God, for we are already saved.
@Jossher700 I'm not familiar with Robert Schuller's teachings- Can someone fill me in there? (I know in another video they practically accuse Rick Warren of Plagiarizing Schuller's ideas.
@lookingup82 Based on the articles I have read, Robert Schuller's teachings centers on man instead of Christ. You might want to do a search on him under the term "apostasy."
LOL He praises God therefore I believe in him. Oh brother you sure are ready for the Anti-Christ. When will you sheeples wake up. Turn your TV off turn your TBN off and wake up !
If you think I'm wrong, then by all means, show me where I error. That would be a more productive than simply insulting me. Insults never proved a thing.
Warren Smith has a Bachelors and a Social Worker's degree. He is not a theologian, and does not possess any notable seminary education.
His book Deceived On Purpose (published by a tiny 6-author publisher) is the most out-of-context, far-reaching, pile of total horse manure that I have ever wasted my time in reading. Someone capitalizing on someone else's success with a few bucks in book sales. Oh brother. Go back to social work, Warren. Or were you equally bad at that as well?
@DarkAdaptedEyes Shouldn't you be tearing down some God-serving pastor somewhere instead of typing to me? You didn't come anywhere close to answering for the fact that Warren Smith is an illegitimate author on the smallest of publishing labels, because his book reads horribly (I've read it cover to cover), is redundant, and carries no substantiated merit.
@DarkAdaptedEyes Ad Hominem, and Attacking the Man fallacies do not work to defend your own point either. Sounds like your own lack of understanding rhetoric would be why you would find Warren Smith a decent author. Good day to you.
that indeed true stubowl1! i can't believe rick warren is a high level satanist, but it is indeed true. Jesus said they would come, false prophets.. wolves
Keep your eyes on this 'we are all one, all god and all paths lead to God' whatever name...
You MAY be deceived into rejecting the one true God to be part of a massive campaign to draw you into a new global lifestyle and the book of Revelation details out God's repsonse to that rebellion.

"As above, so below" is an occult saying, however, it is the genuine interpretation of that scriputure. So, there's really no problem there. However, Rick Warren is a false teacher in my opinion.

I think you mean "ex occultist" not "ex-cultist"

Dueteronomy 4:7 "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for." God is in all things that give glory to him. That's what Rick Warren is saying on page 88 of his book. It's totally compatable with the scriptures.
MrSMS1976 2 years ago
this teaching is new age hooey, and it is extremely contrary to scripture. "as above so below" is the highest level satanist philosophy there is. and rick warren is touting it as his own. He is indeed a false teacher, and of the synagogue of satan. you can't serve two masters. impossible.

"As above, so below" is quite compatible
with scripture.

MrSMS1976 2 years ago

@MrSMS1976 "As above, so below" is a Freemasonry phrase. It doesn't mean God's will such as in the Lord's prayer.

@MrSMS1976 I don't know if you knew, but are you aware that Rick Warren is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations?
Jossher700 11 months ago

FetshHeels 1 year ago
@DarkAdaptedEyes Ad Hominem, and Attacking the Man fallacies do not work to defend your own point either. Sounds like your own lack of understanding rhetoric would be why you would find Warren Smith a decent author. Good day to you.

wow. never read the book. but wow 'as above so below'....might as well say 'do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'...

Please pass these videos onto other believers...!
Keep your eyes on this 'we are all one, all god and all paths lead to God' whatever name...
You MAY be deceived into rejecting the one true God to be part of a massive campaign to draw you into a new global lifestyle and the book of Revelation details out God's repsonse to that rebellion.
