Michael Schumacher is the best driver to ever compete in Formula 1 racing, and Phil Hellmuth is probably not the best poker player of all time, but I'd have to say he's at least top 15. He has 11 bracelets, including a main event bracelet with the most cashes in the WSOP of anybody in history, and that doesn't happen purely from luck. If anything he's had to overcome great amounts of disluck, which the average player wouldn't be able to do for sure.

He won them when the fields were 100-200 players.. and since about 2006, the overall optimal stratagy approach, has changed, and Hellmuth ABC. poker style, just is outdated.. He used too be one of the best no doubt, but in todays world, He is not even close too being one of the best..
