I have a c466 (4x4) that I mounted a 5 foot Cycle Country unit on. No mount was made for the cub so I modified one made for a Polaris. Works OK. I use a winch for the up and down. With a load of fire wood in the back it can not be stopped (unless I high center it) You did well to get the o.e. unit at that great price point. I spent more that you did for after-market stuff. You have a great looking unit there, the lights are a nice touch.
@rkhilburn - Thanks for the kind comments. I'm actually in process of fabricating a winch lift in the front of my unit. The actuator is cool, but has a 25% duty cycle, which in heavy snow is not enough. I am using synthetic winch rope, and hopefully I will have a video of it posted soon.
Actually, It's an OEM Cub Cadet setup. It's what is specified for that model. It may seem that way, but it's really not. It's very heavy duty, not like a lot of plows I see on UTV's. It works extremely well, provided that I chain the rear tires. I need to post some videos of it actually plowing.
@steelfist65 yeah, i can't wait, my buddy has one of these but he doesn't have a plow on his. the tire chains must help out a lot with plowing. i threw some chains on an old garden tractor and i couldn't believe all the traction i got on the snow and ice. i really like the strobe lights on the back. i can't wait to see some videos of it plowing!
ooo got it but the one on the farm we just fucken tack the corner and slid most of the prob i think is that i never us the dif lock and there is like no lds in the box soo......
Nope, it's a 4x2. I use about 500 lbs. of weight, diamond pattern V-bar tire chains and a 150 lb. capacity rear mount spreader. Plow fine for me, no tire spin, and I use the differential lock.
I have to post another video. I have since added a canopy, soft cab and plow lights and spreader. The song is called "Fine Again" by Seether. Thanks for the comments.
Sorry for the delay, I thought I answered this. I got it on ebay. It is A Cub Cadet OEM plow made for this unit. I got my for $400 plus $200 to ship it. They are really hard to find used. I got really lucky. At a dealer, you are looking at about $1800 bucks.

Is it me or does the plow look a little too big and too heavy for that Cub Cadet?
