I heard that Nomura was influenced by this actor named River Phoenix and that since Squall had the same birthday and such, he wanted to create Squall that had similar features. xD Heheh, I'm commenting again, still love the video :)

This video was one of the greatest Final Fantasy AMV's I've seen out. I especially love the color effects you put on it. And for the record, Squall is officially modeled after Gackt. ^-^

This is great! I like your choice of videos for this. Rinoa reminds me of Utada Hikaru for some reason (and Squall looks sort of like Gackt), so the song worked very well. If I never played FFVIII before, I'd think that this was the official music video for the song.

actually riona was partiallu modelled after utada and this otrher girl, and as for squall and gackt, they officially said gackt inspired the jacket, but the real reaosn for the jacket was to test the ps1 capabilties.
