  • Yes, Paul was the most talented of the Beatles, even as much as I liked acid (tongued, brained) John.

Anybody else notice somebody else is coming in higher than Linda on the last chord?

Denny? Or is it just an overdub?

  • @brianallancobb

It is Denny. That was always his high voice on the last chorus.

  • @nighthawkde

Thanks, I've read a lot of "live" recordings are studio overdubs and I'm hoping this is not one of them, as the vocals are wonderful.

  • lmao Linda was gonna sing her harmony at the wrong time 2:02

  • @kennyg03

I like watching how hard she has to concentrate.

It makes their partnership all the more poignant.

  • sexy song Pauly

  • god i like this version more than the studio version

  • I like the guitar intro. Different from that on the Wings Over America album. I had this concert on VT in 1990. Taped over it by mistake with Brazil v Sweden in that year's World Cup. Youtube is great.

  • the song is from Band on the run, not Wings over America

  • @unclefun61 "Wings Over America" was a double live album, that featured many songs from different albums.

  • Excellent video quality! Thanks, and please post more of this show! On a side note, I don't think Linda ever got the respect she deserved as a vocalist. She added such a nice texture to these Wings tunes. Also, this live version is a step up in key and a little faster than the album. Imo, it sounds way better. I just wish I was there to see it live.

  • Much more on key than the recorded track :)

  • Not sped up like the album version- so much better.

  • i`m a bluebird yeah yeah yeah

  • Gorgeous video quality for a gorgeous song! It is amazing to be reunited with a song from so long ago. With so much great music from the 70's--much of it from former Beatles--it is shameful that this one escaped my memory as a kid. Thanks to a stop for gas at a station near Chicago, "Bluebird" was booming over the speakers, and I was reunited with a song that is one of the greatest EVER. A million thank-yous for this post!

  • they sure don't make albums, yet songs like this anymore...shame.

  • Love Paul Love All...

  • Macca no one like you!

  • the best copy i have found!! thanks !!

  • My favorite!!!

    Thanks!

  • Paul and Linda were an amazing couple. Paul still rocks today even though its not the same without Linda his inspiration in the band

  • so beautiful, how I wish I could have seen Paul, Linda & Wings live!!! thank you for this excellent video!!!

  • exellent quality thanks for sharing

  • I love Paul- and all his music wiht everyone he plays with. see my youtube page for more less-known Paul McCartney songs!

  • ya HAV TO love this version of the song =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD LONG LIVE MACCA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this video should have more views, because the bluebird video that has lots of views looks kinda crappy .this video looks awesome. thanks for posting this up dude, YOU ROCK

  • Thanks for the comment

  • amazing

  • A time when we had REAL music and REAL entertainers!!

  • at last we will be free... bluebirds you and me... we're the bluebirds...

    oh lovely paulie...

  • can't believe this clip this only gotten 308 views...this is musical bliss...a song that can pretty much reduce me to tears everytime i hear it. and how about that howie casey? :-)

  • @jimmythecreep I agree! the only better one is when its only paul and linda alone in a room- linda taking photos while paul sings alone to her- adds meaning when its to his love. this song, Balckbird, and Jenny Wren and Little Willow make me melt they're so touching.

  • paul is my favorite singer composer and musician very talented!

  • in my opinion paul is the most talented of the BEATLES

  • @missdiamondmine yes he is with out a doubt couldnt agree more

  • @missdiamondmine totally. too bad people dont realize that.

  • @missdiamondmine i respect your opinion, but give george some credit :)

  • @missdiamondmine yes indeed !!!!!!!!!

  • @missdiamondmine In my opinion it really does not matter who was the best. George, Paul and John had all unique and complementary voices, which enabled them to become the best popgroup ever.

  • @nar8282 Ummm haha, you forgot Ringo..

  • Wonderful!
