  • you know when taking one of those out if you hold down the button long enough it will list up a cpl more inches and you wont have to even touch the security bar

  • wow alot has changed since my volunteer days.......

  • lucky now none of you should have back problems lol

  • gotta love strykers!

  • Asides from being a heavy beast, making your life harder in non-routine stretcher situations, its a pretty neat idea.

Try adding that 100 pounds on top of your patient when going up and down stairs of the 40 year old retirement home... Not fun.

  • @kerethan Stair Chair.

  • But i think its worth it, more money would be saved in the long run.

  • Ive seen these around, a bit pricey but they work WONDERS!

  • i kno $11000

  • even if it does malfunction of the batter is dead, like all the other strykers it has a red handle at the feet were it releases the wheels

  • say god by to back cramps and strains

  • You still gotta lift it to get it into the truck. Doesn't help much IMO.

  • Very useful stretcher we have two where i work and they are very handy for bigger patients and weak emts

  • We've had one for a while now, and at first i had my doubts, but after one particular transport, i love it, their was no way we would have been able to load this patient without it, he was rather large to say the least. And as far as malfunctions, we've had ours pretty much since they came out and it hasnt broken once, and thats not normal for around here.

  • its slower then a regular stretcher

  • uh my ambulance service american medical response (AMR) should get those strecher.. its the same one as this one but we have to put the legs up with our hands lol

  • I have seen one of these but what if they malfunction id take the manual one over that one besides they are heavier

  • Even if they were to malfunction, I think that it has a manual override. Or at least it should have one.

  • those stretchers really do save your back don't they. compared to the older strykers anyway

  • I'll take a Ferno 35A anyday over this bulky, piece of shat.

  • This is feather light comparing to a monster medic though...

  • those cots are like $11,000

  • my ambulance has a stryker cot and there awsome

  • those are awesome!

  • watch the stryker cot movie

  • svrs stryker cot movie acuattly

  • it does look easer but the thing is that it takes a lil longer to go up

  • Go Stryker Power Cots. they rock!

  • if you like these cots watch svrs stryker cot movie

  • That's pretty cool. It's a lot easier than the way we're doing it. It would be pretty handy to be able to put the pt. into the rig by yourself.

  • They make it look easy without a pt. on there. Try it with a 300 pound person on it. We have one and sure it's nice to raise it from a low position but it's a much heavier stretcher than a regular Ferno.

  • I used to live in Lyndonville. I got back to visit relative a lot. My cousin used to work for Lyndon Rescue.

  • lyndonville vt

  • where is this company

  • pretty cool "new advanced technology" haha
