This was a good match! This was the first time I've seen Hailey Hatred wrestle and from that first match, she's great. Death Rey like always delivers in a match. Ever since going heel her wrestling in match psychology had perfected, especially when she went up against Serena!

Now this is some great wrestling. Evenly matched, hard hitting and both showing a lot of technical prowess. It was a little slower and methodical than I would've predicted. With both their reputations I looked for more brawling and out of ring chaos. I was pleasantly surprised, especially with Hailey.

You're right about how good she is but TNA may not see how she'd fit in to the Knockouts Division right now. She's not great on the stick and only developed any sort of character with the "Death Rey" persona and that often seems a bit contrived.

Then again, TNA could just be clueless (after all this is the company that hired Lacey Von Erich).

THIS. I don't know why TNA does what they do, half the time. Wrestlers like Daizee and LuFi (who want to work for TNA) get ignored, while LVE gets featured every week. Whatever. Can't fret too much. We get a fairly decent women's product in the KO's, though it could always be improved.

And Sara is not very good on the mic. Though from a looks standpoint, she's never looked better.

Daizee is probably too small (as opposed to just short) to be much more than a jobber in TNA.

Lufi, on the other hand, is money. She is technically astonishing (given her build), a hardcore legend, and has a hilarious persona which would get over instantly and sell a bunch of merchandise. Right now, if they had to hire one new KO who's never been with the company before it's Lufi all the way.

The Speed Queens are short but they're both (especially Sarita) more solidly, powerfully built than Daizee. Madison's probably the closest to Daizee in overall build and she's been a jobber outside of her Beautiful People work.

I absolutely agree that jobbing out Alissa is ludicrous. So far I think she's beaten Traci and Cody Deaner (!). Melissa's arguably the best all-around worker they have - it drives me crazy how they're misusing her.

You're right, Daizee is pretty shredded. I just haven't thought she looked believable against the likes of Del Rey. If TNA booked her right (kept her away from Kong certainly) she might worked out.

What are your thoughts on the legit 6' 1" Aussie Madison Eagles? I've only seen a few clips of her work but she seems incredibly fluid for a girl that tall and lanky. Again, I'm not sure how TNA could use her but she's something a bit different.

Del Rey is one the best women she has the most chemistry with altogether. And her match with Kong on SHIMMER Volume 10 was spectacular. She's the perfect ragdoll.

And yeah, Madison Eagles is incredible. People who say 6'1 people can't work need to see her.

Daizee's all over the place and not a jobber. She could probably do pretty well as long as she was a face in TNA. Heels in TNA are always complete jobbers because of the ridiculous booking.

and BTW, Daizee's an inch taller than Taylor.

Looks like SDR got her jaw legit jacked at some point. This is a decent match, though it might as well have been Marayse/Michelle for all the crowd cared. I liked Sara's three boots in a row.

One of the things about Hayley that is growing on me is how she will work a basic but good match, quiet and mat-based. Then out of nowhere she goes all puro and throws hard suplexes and such. She saves the power moves for later, and it serves her well.

Yah Hailey can go hold for hold and and then all of a sudden wam... she does like some half nelson suplex to another chick and/or guy, and ur like OMG did she just do that. I love her, cause she can actually wrestle and I feel her look is different than many girls. Shes a different build and I feel adds diversity. Cant always have a skinny blond chick with huge fake tits 24/7.

Not to mention Death Rey, shes just phenomenal. She is womens wrestling at its best!

SDR has really come into her own in 2009. The heel turn in summer '08 was the start, but it's taken into this year for her to get a sense of story and pacing. I really enjoy watching her nowadays -- and I can't say that when I go back and watch SHIMMER stuff pre-heel turn aside from the occasional masterpiece like vs Stock (v 12) and Lacey (12, 14). But she's always great these days, and I am glad.
