Why do some people seem to think it is so simple? For example she could have just been a little brat that was disobeying her dad (yeah she did say 'you're not my dad', but you couldn't always hear her). Greetings chemlin, just wanted to point out that things arent the same everywhere,iam from lebanon,and things are pretty much different here,in a situation lie this people instantly rush for help,lately we had a car accident,and within a minute it was very crowded with people offering help before even the police knew about it,anyway,I really love your work and waiting for your coming series,peace :).

@lord0x1 No. You are right. They aren't the same everywhere. I blame social indoctrination, the school system, and a culture of everyone should "mind their own business" as reason for people not wanting to help. Everyone is taught since they are little that have a better chance of "surviving" (at least in western cultures), if leave problems to the authorities and stay out of trouble themselves. What's even sadder is those people didn't even want to call for help. This is all by design.

this is DISGUSTING....a few weeks ago an elderly man went into the ocean near where I live and 75!!! police/fireman/rescue workers/citizens ALL stood by and watched the man DROWN because they were"waiting for the coastguard&would go into the water which wasn't rough or anything..it was a normal day!!! This is one of the reasons why I don`t relate to most people in the world, this is disgusting.I remember stopping to help a guy laying on the road everyone else just drove by.Yes I am a male so that made me feel a little safer about helping him but for christ sakes call a ambulance don`t just leave him there.Better still... how would you like to be treated?

If they're living in a Western world like this, then clearly getting into a bad situation with no apparant injuries is clearly a fault of their own.

If they had blood on them then I'd definitely help as it is apparant that they've been attacked.

I belive that people could be teached to to learn diferent Behaviour breaking the conditioning can be done and peoble brought up to get involved! Training shuld start early and peoble may find more confidence to help when they are teached how to reakt in certain situations like show them some options what they can do even when they are scared you can still at least male a phone call ore activate othere bystanders by telling them to team up with you!

i dont think this is completely true. i mean, yes, most people did nothing cuz no one else did anything, but i think others just didnt care either way. if it were me, i honestly think i'd have helped the first guy cuz he looked like he was in pain and was calling for help. but i think i wouldve ignored the girl that came after him cuz id assume she either chose to sleep there cuz maybe she was homeless or was passed out drunk (i could care less what happens to drunk ppl).
