But when Yomi was not making any sort of expression, she took that as admitting that she did kill her which made her run out. Butterfly kid shows up and basically uses yomi's emotion to get her to agree to bond with the stone.

I remember Yomis giant speach in the manga, how she was denied of her humanity time and time again, killed even after death as a spirit. Never allowed to live happily with the 2 people she loved, and the things she loved. I felt bone crushingly sad for Yomi because I know the feeling, then I read the final chapter in the manga, and I was very happy for Yomi, she got a happy ending :]

It's not just Nori that's to blame. Kagura couldn't mentally adjust herself to the fact that Yomi killed Mei and so she ran away which made Yomi think she had no one left. Butterfly boy had impeccable timing and corrupted whatever shard of self Yomi had. The only thing Yomi was left to believe is that everyone has abandoned her and hated her. Nori and Kagura both couldn't fess up to Yomi, but Kagura caused the pivotal change in Yomi's heart. Her last treasure, lost.
