  • I saw her dance in New Zealand this piece and it still is one of my great memories as well as her dying swan. The Bolshoi used to tour New Zealand ,today it does not come .it would spend a week in the main cities .I did meet her in New Zealand as well as the company as we hosted the company for a dinner. It is wonderful memories.

  • I have a lump in throat, which is not that easy to swallow... Amazing....

  • First I would take about the Maïstro Roland Petit, because it's him the boss and the incredible choréographer of many ballets who danced Maia but don't forget: without the choréographer nothing is possible , and we can really appréciate the Maïstro Roland Petit who gave us so many wonderfull ballets...

  • Her charisma remains unequalled.

    Thanks.

  • When does Maya plisetskaya died?

  • @love20987 Plisetskaya lives! November 20, 1925 (age 86 in 2011 ) and still with us!

  • my heart was following the steps,BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • Gust russian can do this!!!!!

  • Plisetskaya is dancing divinely, but what vapid choreography!

  • She is not just making pretty forms - she is EXPRESSING. A true and genuine artist, like we do not see today. Thank you.

  • she was the greatest, i love her

  • At 10:01 i woke up, i was dreaming.

  • Very, very good!

    Awesome!

    That's so marvelous!!!

  • From which Mahler composition this piece is taken?

  • @mschuelbe

This is the "Adagietto" of the 5th Symphony.

  • i love the shapes that both of the dancers make together.

  • Beautiful, Magnificent, Marvelous. The words don't exist to describe this or just about any of her dancing. What an experience. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

  • Marvelously expressive ...lovely, lovely, lovely.

  • Plisetskaya, una ballerina forte e carismatica, passionale e di altissima spiritualità. la sua danza esprime tutte le sfumature dell'anima elevate da una tecnica raffinata.

  • For me the intensity of the choregraphy really starts building at from 3:07 thru 6:20 -of course to the end. What and of course the collapse after the kiss --an extraordinary adagio in everyway.

  • wow - 8:34... it's all been leading to that moment . The music floats, she floats and that brief lift could last an eternity...

    Amazing

  • bravohhhh

  • I saw this wonderful dancer, precisely dancing this touching piece of Mahler's...unforgettable, and that has bben maybe 3 years ago...when I was an adolescent
