God Bless All Our Heros!!! Freedom is not Free...We shall not mourn but honor & cherish their memory and their sacrifice for our freedom....God Bless Them All
Everytime i go to Arlington Cemetery my stomach drops, its such an eerie feeling knowing that there are thousand and thousands of people surrounding you even though you don't see them but a cross.
My grandfather is buried there, my uncle is buried there, my mother is buried there, my father is buried there.
Let us stop disenfranchize the presidencey from making war without civilian consent. God bless the men and woman who gave up their lives for a politicians dream of being re-elected...Ronald Regan, George Bush, Bill Clintion, George Bush Jr., Obama bin biden...Put the man in front of the troops that call the arms to war. God say us all.
Thank you SOO much! My grand dad and great-grandad we're buried here whom I never new, and my great grandad was William Dawes! (Paul reverse partner) and grandad william Dawes jr. well, thank you so much 4 posting and god bless America -3
What a beautiful yet sad day. To watch my daddy and brother be buried side by side was amazing! Thank you for this video, it helps keep their memory alive. They were and still are two of the most amazing men this country has ever known. I love and miss them both so very much!
I would not be able to comment here if it were not, but by these brave men who died to give me the freedoms I enjoy. I hope when I die someone will say I led a good life because of their sacrafice.
I here for a part of my 8th grade DC trip this year... I don't know anybody that has died in any of the wars, but I was in tears when I was here.... The rest of the class kept on talking and talking... I wanted to do something, but I kept myself quiet... I'm going to DC again this July, but with my family, so... Thank you all of the brave who keep America safe :)
I attended Arlington in '97 with classmate's, and found an emotional side I never knew I had. It truly struck every chord in me, while knowing several great uncle's of mine served in the past, changing of the guards is a blessing in itself to witness.
WHAT THEY DIDNT TELL YOU WAS ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETARY WAS ILLEGALLY OBTAINED BY IGNORING ROBERT E. LEE WIFE TAX PAYMENTS TO TAKE OVER THE LAND LATER HER NEPHEW SEWED THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND WON AND COULD HAVE LEGALLY MADE THEM DIG UP ALL CIVIL WAR UNION SOLDIERS BURIED THERE BUT DECIDED TO TAKE THE MONEY INSTEAD YES ROBERT E. LEE LEGALLY OWNED THAT LAND GIVEN DOWN FROM HIS FATHER IN LAW AND WAS ILLEGALY TAKEN BECAUSE OF HIM DECLINING RUNNING THE WHOLE UNION ARMY
@Southernjuggalo63 Boo hoo. He was a traitor to his country moron. All confederate traitors should have lost all their "land." It should be an honor for this land to be used for AMERICAN war dead. Good thing the traitors nephew "sewed" America, right in the tradition of his uncle who declined to honor his country but instead lead other traitors who murdered heroic American soldiers. Couldn't win on the battlefield, and would not have won in court either. BTW the south lost. Period.
@pelverud1 actually LINCOLN was the traitor walking all over the consitution while ROBERT E LEE respected the constitution also moron your just mad lee told lincoln he wouldnt lead the union army P.S. WE ARE TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DEBT TO A COMMUNIST COUNTRY WHEN MILLIONS DIED SO CALLED FIGHTING COMMUNISM YOUR LIBERTY IS BEING TAKEN AWAY FROM U EVERYDAY ASLO THE MAJORITY OF UNION SOLDIERS MORONS WERE NOT AMERICANS THEY GOT IRISH AND SCOTTISH IMMIGRANTS FRESH OFF THE VOTE TO FIGHT FOR THEM
I remember well, the cocky, young, 15y/o, punk, myself, stepping off a tour bus at Arlington National Cemetery and as I turned, the rows upon rows, upon rows, of graves came into view. I was immediately humbled as the significance they represented set in. I'll never forget the impact it had on me. I highly recommend that every American experience this place at least once in their life.
I just went to Arlington National Cemetery and to be honest i was moved, all those graves of dead soldiers really brought some true emotion out of me then i whipped my fat mexican dick and jerked my brown cock off spilling my seed on all the graves of those dirty murdering raping bastards HA! HA! HA! HA!
I highly recommend watching the highly emotional History Channel documentary "Arlington: Field of Honor". Beginning with the origin and history of Arlington covering the pre-Civil War days up to the present time. It shows how a soldier must train to be an Honor Guard and covers in detail the preparation for funerals given for our war veterans. It will bring tears to your eyes.
Today I had the privilge to visit Arlington National Cemetery. I found the place sad but peaceful and well looked after. A nation should remember and honour those who have fought and died in protecting there country and comrades from harm. uk
its easy to say how stupid and pointless war is until you go and visit arlington and think about your life as an American compared to many others in the world...there will never be a way to thank these men and women for what they have done to make this country what it is today...every person living here owes their life to these men and women
George Washington lays there an he once said "no matter how hard we try ther will track us by the blood of r feet" meanin no matter how much soildiers died we will fight 4 r freedom
When I graduate I can either go to Boston to see a Red Sox's game for the first time or choose somewhere else. I have already made my mind up, I am going to visit Arlington National Cemetery.
when i get into the military i hope that if or when i die that i will be barried on these hollow grounds i love and support these troops who sacraficed their lives for my beloved country.i hope to join these men and women on this hollow ground.i hope to visit it soon.GOD BLESS THESE MEN AND WOMEN!
What a priviledge to be an American. Thank you for our freedom. This alone give me great hope, and more. Thank your father, and all military veterans. God bless our heros.
Hello JenDMorgan..My grandfather is also buried at Arlington. I live with him in life after he retired from the US ARMY. You should visit Arlington, it is very touching and emotionally incredible... America is America...the best!!!
This video is very touching, I just hope I never have to be a part of a ceremony here! I pray for the safe return of my husband! I am a proud Air Force Veteran, Air Force Wife and Marine Corp Brat. God Bless our men and women.
George Washington said it best on August 7, 1782.....
"Let it be known that he who wears the military order of the purple heart has given of his blood in the defense of his homeland and shall forever be revered by his fellow countrymen."
this is a great vid to the countless men and women of our armed forces who make the ultimate sacrifice for not only our freedom but the freedom and protection of others
I am not American but I am eternally grateful for the what America has done to give me and my children freedom. It has been an honor to have visit Arlington twice. Thank you, guys. Thank you very much.
Happy Memorial Day to you, your family, and everyone reading this! I am proud to be Mexican-American, Red, White, and Blue always and forever in my heart. Honoring the HEROES who served to hold the flag high... and for the cause of LIBERTY... As FREEDOM rings in the heart of the country, their presence still lingers in our thoughts. Remembering with you... on this MEMORIAL DAY! God Bless America.
YES!!! VERY moving!! VERY happy to be a veteran!! And, the other poster is right.....confederates are buried there.....as well as union soldiers but, in the end, we were all the "band of brothers" weren't we? We made this country what it is.
Fuck the troops this is where they all belong!
