Came close to tears seeing Rick Wight's picture. Such an amazing and humble man, not to mention one of the greatest keyboardists ever. Gone but not forgotten. Rest In Peace.
As well as Nick Drake-- 19 June 1948 – 25 November 1974, and Marc Bolan-- 30 September 1947 – 16 September 1977, Thanks for adding Joe Strummer and SRV, dudes. Good concept, and nicely done. Cheers.
well not all music today is crap, but most is...probably was then too...we just love the hits and the rest we pay no attention too...Rolling in the Deep by Adelle...WOW! so Amazing!
I am missing my wife, best friend, and soul mate but listening to this song helps me remember all the good times and the tribute to artists i loved is awesome and I remember the day they passed. They may have died but their music lives forever and ever as does her memory in my mind.
That was a very nice tribute, and I'm sure quite a few people will have people they feel should have made the cut. I'm no different. Billy Preston, the Beatles' longtime keyboardist, died far too early.
Miss them all guys, too. RIP.

Jeez, looking at this, 1980 was a rough frackin' year for the music industry. It never clicked to me just how many great stars we lost that year.
