Pensé que Pavlik era más inteligente, pero ya me di cuenta que no es así. A los que son de guardia derecha deberían utilizar una mejor estrategia para pelearles a los zurdos. Martínez tiene un estilo clásico de los zurdos; chequen cuando pelea el Pacman, los mismos movimientos pero sin bajar la guardia. Para ganarle a este compa Sergio, hay que fajarse así como lo hace el maestro del upper JMM. En toda la pelea no vi que tirara ningún upper Kelly Pavlik. No he sabido que Sergio pelee vs un mex.

In Pavlik's defense, losing to him is no great humiliation. 46!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of Martinez's 48 opponents lost to him, and the loss against Paul Williams hardly counts: It was a majority decision, and Martinez came back and beat Williams by knockout less than a year afterward.
Kelly Pavlik could still go places. I think a lot of Americans root for him and would still pay to see him on PPV, and 37-2 aint bad. And he's only 30.

During the night he fought Barker, Martinez weighed 165 pounds, three pounds below the super middleweight limit. Add that to the fact that super middleweights generally rehydrate back up to near 180 pounds or more, and that simply makes Martinez too small for the division.

@novzki I think Pavlik just can't handle the get-in-get-out type of slick boxer. Hopkins does alot of jumping in and out and he did the exact same thing to Kelly. Pavlik was terribly confused by the styles of Martinez and Hopkins.

Ya Sergio ha dicho que quiere SU campeonato mediano del CMB y que le dará un plazo a Sulaiman y a Julito (Culito) hasta primavera del 2012 para que se pacte la pelea, luego de que Martínez derrote a Baker y Chavez Jr seguramente defienda "su campeonato" contra algún bulto en México. @griviada Sergio Martínez no va a bajar a las 154 libras, él quiere su campeonato del CMB de las 160 que ganó en esta pelea con Pavlik y que los corruptos Sulaimán le quitaron para regalárselo a Chávez Jr (quien ni siquiera ganó claramente su pelea contra Zbik; Chávez Jr es un campeón de mentiras). Si Sergio baja alguna vez a las 154 será para una super pelea contra Miguel Cotto. Ahora me doy cuenta porque el Chávez jr. subió a peso mediano: 1.- Para sacarle la vuelta al Canelo(superwelter) y 2.-Casi no hay peleadores buenos en ése peso; ni mexicanos ni extranjeros. De echo me gustaría ver boxear al Maravilla contra cualquier mexicano, pero que sea mexicano.

@MrDefleppard777 De hecho, la división de peso mediano tiene bastante talento: Pavlik, Williams, Lara, Martínez, Lemieux, Rubio; pero para ser honesto, yo creo que Chávez no debe temerle al "talento" boxístico que lo rodea en esa división, sino en los pegadores brutales que hay no sólo ahí, sino arriba y abajo: Clottey, Margarito, Alvarez, Angulo, Cotto, todos son demoledores en las 154; ¿Supermedianos? jajaja Buté, Abraham, Ward,... cualquiera puede retirar a Julito bien pronto del boxeo
