I agree. This is just a pure rock album. I love it. They aren't many albums like this these days. I was somewhat disappointed with Def Leppard's "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge". This albums on the other hand has hard rock like "Can You Hear...", "Good to be Bad", "Lay Down Your..." and ballads like this and "Summer Rain".

You can't possibly think that Def Leppard have went country just because they sang ONE song with TIm McGraw. And it's not a country song. I wish McGraw wasn't in the song but it's not that bad of a song actually, it has a catchy chorus. They are still a rock band. Maybe before you make assumptions like that do some homework and look at the rest of the album. Songs like "Bad Actress", "Go", and "Hallucinate" are definatley rock and roll....not country.

I love Def Leppard but they lost touch with their fans since the mid 90's trying to be Bon Jovi Part 2.

Yeah, they did loose a lot of their fans in the 90's, they gained some but not near enough to make up for the ones lost. I don't think they did what Jovi did though. Jovi went country, Def Leppard released Slang which was just a more mellowed out, closer to pop-rock album than anything they had ever done. People didn't like the change, I like the Slang album though.

Your a def right! It seems like fans don't like change and aren't willing to accept a change in their fav bands...but Def Leppard already gave fans the hard rock seen with the first three albums, a fan-friendly few albums full of hit songs (Hysteria and Adrenalize), and then it was neat for a change...Slang was that change (I didn't like X though). That was a little to far away from rock and roll for me.....and yes Whitesnake kicks ass!!!
