So much love for this. I know I said so when Festivids was unveiled but I really can't say it enough. Jim is my favourite fictional character ever and so much of the fandom is disappointingly into how eeevil they can make him and how much non-con they can write about him despite his well-known feelings on the matter. Any time someone views him compassionately they have my love.
@YaelTiferet Yay, I'm glad you still enjoy the vid after all these months. :) I didn't even know there was a Profit fandom--I should do some digging. I agree with you--reading Jim as purely evil is way too simplistic, especially when the show demonstrate that he's capable of acts of goodness. I'm glad you found the vid sympathetic--I definitely wanted to show Jim as a deeply damaged human being.
Wonderful vid! I didn't knew the song but it worked so perfectly with Profit. You've captured the creepy yet irresistible atmosphere of the character.
Thank God for the internet, normally when I mention Profit as one of my fave tv shows people normally say "what?". And when I explain about it I get more "what?"
It's great to see Jim Profit is still alive and kicking on the internet and that others are also fascinated by the character too.
@Xiroi87 Thank you very much! I've loved Profit since back when it first aired, so I was very glad when the opportunity to vid it presented itself. Jim Profit is the very definition of creepy goodness. :D
Jim Profit is a very memorable character. He's not evil. He's an antihero. Think about it. He took out a naughty uncle who abused his boss's wife, his own bad father, a ruthless female reporter who destroyed lives for kicks, a Mob boss, an evil genius/ computer madman, and quite a few others. Through it all, he maintains his own Dark Integrity. He's ruthless but serves the greater good through dark means.
Adrian Pasdar as the talent in converying the sex, slink, and charm both Jim Profit and Nathan Petrelli. A charming devil and ruthless son of a bitch, then they want something. In way Jim Profit was a blueprint for Nathan Petrelli. One thing Jim Profit, lacks is the fact, Nathan knows short comings and as tried in the past, to make ameads for it.
WOW. This video is SOO amazing! The song and scene sequences were so seamless and PERFECT!<3
I have just finished watching the Profit series and Adrian Pasdar is just totally hands-down AWESOME! Really wished they'd continued this series, it would do SOOO amazingly well if it was on t.v. now...
It would be awesome to have a video with the full song

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the vid. And I agree; I think Profit was a show that was way ahead of its time.
