@habsfan0206, I can tell the reaction changing and it is very obvious when you hear the boos that the Senators are coming out for the warm-up. I love the fact that Montreal plays 44 home games a year, 41 at the Bell Centre and 3 at Scotiabank Place!
@habsfan0206, another thing I did not mention are the boos the Senators players received as they came on the ice for the warm-up. It is now common to hear that in Ottawa. The game on November 4, 2011 was like the game on October 23, 2010 when Habs fans took over the place. Senators players got booed mercilessly when they were introduced.
@TheZiman12, it's been like this since 2006 when the Habs come out for their pre-game warm-up. The cheers turn into boos when the home team Senators come out on the ice for their warm-up!
That sounds like an accurate percentage. I live in a suburb of Toronto and there are tons of Habs fans in Toronto as well. I have been to a couple of Habs @ Leafs game at at Air Canada Centre and the crowd was split evenly 50-50 between Habs and Leafs fans. I was born in Montreal and have been to Ottawa many times before but never been to a Senators game. Are you a season ticket holder? If I come to Ottawa sometime, I would like to go to a Habs vs. Senators game at Scotiabank Place.
@TheZiman12, yeah, I heard that also about the crowd for the Habs vs. Leafs games in Toronto being split 50-50 between Habs and Leafs fans. I'm a 1/2 season ticket holder but I've also sold and will continue to sell a few of my remaining tickets. After all, there are way more important things in life to take care of.
I am not surprised at all that there are so many Habs fans at Scotiabank Place. How about the game a couple of days ago. What was the percentage of Habs fans there when they beat the Sens 6-2. It looked about as much as the previous game there earlier this year. It must be pretty bad being a Senators fan and being heavily outnumbered.
I have read some posts from previous years where there were a lot of Canadiens fans in Ottawa. What was the ratio of Habs fans to Sens fans here. Someone mentioned on a site that there were about 15000 Habs fans. Since you were at the game, you would probably know! I know it was a Pro-Habs crowd but how Pro-habs?
@TheZiman12, TONS of Habs fans in Ottawa and at the Habs games here. I'll make a safe bet to say that, since the past 5 years, 2/3 of the fans at the Habs at Ottawa games are Habs fans. I was at the Habs at Ottawa game on October 23, 2010, and I assure you, it was 70 - 75% Habs fans. Ottawa and Sunrise, Florida are by far the Habs' home away from home.

@TheZiman12, make that 46 home games a year including their two 'home' games in Sunrise, Florida.
