  • Nice!!!! What's your zero-to-sixty time??????

  • WOW my 240D had only 67HP. I wish I had 145 WHP

  • What for? Too much smoke makes it ugly :(

  • @Ruppercik I agree, he needs more boost.

  • @Ruppercik SMOKE=BROKE on a diesel. The thick black smoke is UNUSED diesel during the combustion process which burns off in the manifold, turbo, EGR, CAT & DPF if fitted. It soots everything up. The exhaust valves become stuck open and compression is lost meaning LESS POWER. Think of it as pouring a pint of water in to a half pint glass quickly, most spills out. You can only fit so much diesel in each cylinder, so pumping too much in does no good. A powerful efficient diesel doesn't smoke...

  • how can i get my hands on a m ip modified by myna diesel in the US?

  • superturbodiesel (dot) com / std / myna-diesel-contact-information-t-242 (dot) html

  • the lokomotiv !!!!! :)

  • I LOVE it. 300d = the underdog.

    Keep up the good work.

  • How much torque?

  • 209@3250 RPM

    Pretty good! ;)

  • Very nice numbers. If I ever get unbusy, I can start modding my 300D. Already have the M IP, so that's a small start. Til then, I'll just have to keep rescuing them from being scrapped.

  • i laughed lol.

  • In the UK just now diesel is the same as about $12. So not cheap. Otherwise i'd have a nice Turbo diesel with a chip sitting outside my home

  • Ouch, these cars dont use computers, they have mechanical injection pumps. (Unless your talking about a newer one like a 606)

  • WOW!!! I thought $5 was alot...I feel your pain, as much as I can. Diesel's about $2.39 a gallon in Michigan US right now.

  • Just worked it out. Costs the same as about $7 a gallon just now for 1 US Gallon of Diesel here

  • Can I say OMG! You do have the cleanest diesel in the world though. The U.S. diesel is much cleaner than it used to be with USLD manditory for highway use now, but youve still got the best diesel fuel! But really 7:1 dollar ratio, thats sucks man. Sry!

  • My 106 1.5 Diesel might only have 58Bhp in peak form but i can get it to muster 75Mpg if i drive it sensibly

  • i could use that kinda millage what is a 106 pegout??

  • Yeah, it's a Peugeot 106 1.5 diesel. Average MPG is about 50, but on the motorway sitting about 50-55mph you can get 75mpg i reckon

  • o ok im in the u.s. so we don't have Peugeots exept some really old ones but those have long went to the scap heap. the best car ive driven at 50-55 was a 2000 ford crown victoria if your fimilar with those there huge as big as a SEL 500 but it could actually get 50mpg i was absolutly astonished by that but in town they only get 20mpg at best

  • Those exhausts look really enviromental friendley ;D

  • Yep. Most soot harmlessly settles back to the ground.

  • ...or in the lungs of the shortest people..

    Biodiesel= no particulate exhaust.

    Clear, not black.

  • Biodiesel= smaller particulate exhaust which is even worse.

    Not visible, but still there.

  • you're kidding right? never would've thought that.

  • NIIICEE!! Wish i could do that to my 84 5-speed 300D....That must make a huge difference in performance. Good torque rating as well..How much did it cost?

    -ali from pakistan

  • Nice car... :)

By the way you seriously need some fine-tuning! 75lb-ft@2000rpm?!????! That's good for a 200d! (correct me if I misread something!)

  • yes, i believe you did misread. it says 145.3hp @ 4144 rpm and 209.2 ft/lbs @3251 rpm.

  • dam nice, has anyone checked out the modifed/aftermarket turbos for this engine on ebay? i would think about getting one but don want to kill my fuel mileage

  • Thanks to it having a T3 turbo, there are lots of upgrades. Unfortunately, pretty much everything requires some alterations to bolt on.

Thats really the bad part to modifying these cars, there is next to no legitimate performance aftermarket. Almost everything is fabricated or modified from other applications.

There are some companies that sell "cold air kits" that are actually much worse for the engine than the stock setup.

  • hahaah well thats silly, im gonna keep the car the way it is i guess, i did some calculation and figured the mpg i was getting was a bit under 35 mpg, so im damn happy with that, just need some katmacs/clear corners/ and wheels now :)

  • 35mpg is physically impossible in a 300D. Even 31-32mpg would extremely high for one of these. 22-27mpg is normal.

  • i did some reading about it, and your right i saw alot of people only getting 21 mpg :O i dont know wtf how its possible, my car does run good but i know it gets good mileage because my grand prix gets 24mpg and to me that burns fuel so much faster than the 300D and i put the same amount of fuel in both of them

  • I've seen 30mpg from others before and I get 26mpg myself, so it's possible you are getting high 20's.

  • Yep, 32-33 mpg is possible when you live in Canada; Our gallon is 4.55 liter and the US gallon is 3.77 ! ;o)

  • Nice!U should crank up the boost a little more next time (11pounds)since it seems that your are getting enough fuel with all that smoke coming from the tail pipe. Thanks for posting though you have the highest HP numbers in the US for a W123 Diesel congrats!

p.s. You should post your trucks up too

  • Not bad, up 25hp and 40tq...
