As tough as steel is, adamantium is tougher still. It can only be cut by other adamantium, that means that not even diamonds can cut it, while diamonds cut steel all the time. Just saying, if it came down to it, take out flight and and Logan would break Kal-el's back and put him right next to Broke-Bat Brucey (yes, I went there, deal with it, he does run around with little boys in spandex an awful lot, and live with them).

Superman's invulnerability (largely depending on writer, but this is current) does not extend to magic, it effects him normally. As for being killed by something less than adamantium, perhaps you are forgetting about Doomsday, who merely pummeled him to death.

If you want examples, check out Kingdom Come #3, where WW's magical sword cuts Supes finger, the Sacrifice storyline where WW cut his throat with her magical tiara, in Superman Annual #7 he grabbed a magical sigil that ended up burning his hand, and let's not forget that the Marvel and Black families magics can hurt him. Superman is just as susceptible to magic as anyone else, and for someone who's "invulnerable" that's a weakness.
I have no problem with bats, in fact I greatly appreciate that they (and spiders) help keep the insect levels down. As for Batman, I found the Dark Knight movies to be eh, uninteresting. And what's his face as Joker was, imo, not worthy of the name. He was no Mark Hamill, that's for sure.

That's the problem. A more psycho Joker isn't "a better class of criminal", it's just a more unpredictable criminal. And even with a more psycho Joker, I think Jack would have been a better choice (watch The Shining if you think he can't do dark and psycho).
I'll be honest, in a Marvel vs. DC debate, I'm firmly a Marvel. Most I've read of DC is the graphic novel of "The Death and Life of Superman", but I do my research. "Know thy enemy" sort of thing.

But Superman definitely doesn't line up with Ironman through GR in your list, especially not Deadpool. Pool is an insane merc, that doesn't quite jive with Superman.

Have SWAT in Gotham since/before Batman showed up, and by the first time Joker strolled out of Arkham's revolving doors and started his next caper, SWAT would have him in their sights and ready to pull the trigger.
Emma is a high end telepath (includes sedating/pain, and other such abilities) as well as a Diamond form that negates the telepathy, but she is nigh indestructible, with only one small flaw that (unknown where) if exploited will cause her to shatter. Omega level.

Yes, Joker has access to street cops, but SWAT aren't your average street cop. Given that they wouldn't have done anything the first time, he would have no reason to suspect they'd get involved on his escape.
Emma is a former villain actually, she was the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, from what I've read online though she's lately been head mistress of one of the Xavier schools. No matter what though, she's always cared about her students/team, even as a villain.

Emma's change of heart came about after one of her teams (The Hellions, also the original group to have that name in Marvel) were murdered by Sentinels. She felt guilty for their deaths. At this time she was a villain. I love that they made her more human, even though she was a villain. She eventually went to Xavier for help, and joined the good guys.

She's already had a few appearances. Word of God is that the "Emma" in the Wolverine Origin movie is the same person as the Emma Frost in X-Men First Class. Then there's the relatively unknown/forgotten about Made For TV Movie "Generation X" (90's) based loosely on the comic of the same name that had an Emma Frost before her diamond form showed up.

Glad to see I'm not the only one confused about that. I don't get it either, but I choose to look at it as 3 different versions of the same character, without Origins/First Class being the same timeline/version. It's the only way it makes any sense.

I don't hate you for it. We just differ in opinion. Raimi had his hands tied with everyone wanting something different. I mean, Spiderman 3 had, essentially, 4 antagonists. Venom, Sandman, Green Goblin (for a short while), and Peter himself. The writers put too much in it, ignoring that, it was a good film, even though I'm not a Spidey fan.

X-men 3 or Last stand , was in my opinion , the best of the X-men films. The huge comic fan base helped him with the first two. Supes however needed a much better director. I was never impressed with Bryan singer and I knew he would screw up Superman even before it was released.
Indeed there were. I believe they more or less emerged in the 60s, or at least that's the era of comics when I first read about them in a collection book.

batman carries kriptnite to stop superman if he ever went rouge. i used to think that superman could beat batman but after i found that out my opinions changed. it would be an awesome fight though the only down side would be that batman would need to get close enough for the kriptnite to work and with superman getting that close is not a good idea

I don't hate you for it. We just differ in opinion. Raimi had his hands tied with everyone wanting something different. I mean, Spiderman 3 had, essentially, 4 antagonists. Venom, Sandman, Green Goblin (for a short while), and Peter himself. The writers put too much in it, ignoring that, it was a good film, even though I'm not a Spidey fan.

X-men 3 or Last stand , was in my opinion , the best of the X-men films. The huge comic fan base helped him with the first two. Supes however needed a much better director. I was never impressed with Bryan singer and I knew he would screw up Superman even before it was released.

batman carries kriptnite to stop superman if he ever went rouge. i used to think that superman could beat batman but after i found that out my opinions changed. it would be an awesome fight though the only down side would be that batman would need to get close enough for the kriptnite to work and with superman getting that close is not a good idea
