@bigbluedog0 it's about a girl who likes a guy and is a really close friend... they call each other "bro/sis" to indicate their closeness, but the girl is frustrated that the guy doesn't realize that she actually likes him romantically. The singer, according to the lyrics, seems to be under the impression that girls and guys can't be close as siblings without romance... and calling him "brother" was just a lie to cover up the real reason why she's so close to him.
