An American friend and myself stayed in Jamaica Inn, (room 4) on 7-4- 2011. We honestly didn't expect anything to happen, but at approximately 3-am something was messing with items on our dressing table, and also with the telephone in the room. All sounds were picked up picked up on a digital voice recorder we had left recording all through the night. We also picked up the sound of a child crying, and were assured no children were staying at the time. So thrilled we got some activity. Brilliant

I have worked here in the past, for quite some time. Iv'e never seen anything but a lot of weird stuff has happened. there really are so many staff that regularly say they have seen/heard something. I almost heard a new story every 2/3 days. Fascinating place either way!

A bit of a let-down, this film. Where are the ghosts? The eerie music and atmospheric shots don't prove the existence of ghosts in the Jamaica Inn. We just have to take your word for it, it seems.

There is no proof of ghosts on my videos or anywhere else. I have never claimed proof. I am just repeating the myths and legends surrounding the locations I visit, sorry you couldnt figure that one out. What you expected to see a video of a ghost, seriously?

I think the place is brill kate, would go there anytime! and decent food as well, Ive been twice since the sighting and saw nothing but I am so serious its true, it wasnt scary though... just amazingly shocked and couldnt find any other reason (lighting effects etc) to have caused me to see this thing

I stayed for 3 nights when all my family was down too for my mum n dads wedding, in 2004, and as I was actually stood laughing at my dad saying about most haunted being there and what they said I actually did see a guy where the blocked half door is in the bar, and then moved towards the window, the man in the tricorne hat, go in that bit and take photos ive been since and got him on photo no joke, unfortunetely my hard drive failed and Ive lost it :( but no joke

i stayed at the jamaica inn, on 11,10,08, loved the place, i'm a witch and didnt feel well the whole time a was there and i even threw up! i was fine well i left the next day! i'm back at the jamaica inn in december, in room 4, and i feel there will be more activity when i return.

Im from the Ghost Club Society, we had several investigations here with Cornish Author Michael Williams. rooms 5, 3 and 4 where investigated. room 5 ofcourse is reported as the most haunted as it was told a woman was raped and murdered in the room. One of our members heard the screams and couldnt open the door. when they got in there was no one in the room. I myself saw a solid black figure standing in room 3. In the Childrens area of the bar we all smelt old pipe smoke, but the bar was closed.

i was there the other day, i didnt stay long though because i went to the toilet and as i went in the door oppened itself and then slammed in my face,, besides that we were reading the log that records paranormal happenings and the rooms 4,5,6 had the most fearsome reputation and the same evants have been happening in there year after year. one creepy place

I am actually going to visit the Goldfield Hotel in a few weeks. I now live in Las Vegas which is just a few hours away. But from what I understand they dont let people do investigations in it anymore as they are trying to turn it back into a hotel. But I will see what I can find out.
