it seems if you look closely at the beginning of the song he has a brown kind of dusty burn on his skull, and it also seems they forgot to put it on all the heads they used for this song or maybe it would have taken too long since on top of it taking a week for each 70 seconds they have to design them, guess it would be easier to just use normal availible ones

@Toobored4time Hi. Jack is scary. But he's also responsible. His job is to scare people, not hurt them. He realized that since 'he' screwed up, 'he' has to fix it. He can only go back to being the Pumpkin King 'after' he puts Santa back in Christmas Land.

Each land 'needs' their king. Without Santa, Christmas land would be destroyed. It wouldn't be fair for him to destroy Christmas land and then just walk away. He has to fix it.

I always preferred the film version over the soundtrack version. Elfman really overdid some of Jack's lines on the CD. Here Jack genuinely sounds heartbroken over what he did while steadily coming to terms with his identity as the Pumpkin King.
