@PercMusicOnline This is definitely a Keiko Abe medley. Bits and pieces from "Marimba D'Amore" and a hint of "Frogs" I think (1:47). Marimba D'Amore is around 10-12 minutes long, so this must have been abridged for time constraints. I've played Marimba D'Amore but I haven't played Frogs... so I might be wrong on that part. Hope this helps.

People with perfect pitch can most likely "pick up music" slightly faster than those without. I cannot say this for sure because I do not have it.

Yea thats what I was getting at, speakers of tonal languages have a higher tendency of having perfect pitch. My roommate in college had perfect pitch and is an absolutely unreal musician. I could play a chord on a piano and he would tell me all three notes instantly. I wish I had that ability haha
