- All these Muslim extremist organizations conducting massacres all over the globe.
- When there's so much violence and tyranny in the majority of countries which have a predominant Muslim way of living.
- When muslims living in the west spitefully criticize Europeans for the way they live and for being liberal in thought.
All these issues make it harder for some people to build bridges of understanding.

Iflicked through the penguin classic Koran and couldn't find anything relevant to the way the world is shaping up of late, i found stuff about slapping your bitch a chapter about a Cow and something about Jesus. I watched four of your videos and I truly understand where your coming from...But guess what at one point in my life I was more lost than anyone... But I NEVER gave up. I searched through many religions and had the mind of an eithiest. I tasted sorrow and now m not ashamed to yell it cuz its the past right now m totally different human. (ok screw it ONE more) - The only thing I AM absolutely convinced IS delusional is the absolute worldwide phenomenon of "MY religion is ABSOLUTELY the true one" followed by either some insane attempt of "proof" for their religion, or the more common insane delusion that they "just KNOW it / or God talked to THEM personally" and told them this was the only true religion. You will hear the IDENTICAL-repeat-IDENTICAL fervent claim from tiny tribes in Africa to Ohio to Iraq to Russia to Thailand...

Soooo in concusion I remain agnostic but have been interested in the idea that different religions are much like languages expressing similar things though they sound radically different, like someone speaking to a Frenchman in Chinese. (part 5) In fact the language analogy I think is quite apt and came to me one day. I'm with Oprah on this one: Isn't it just possible that all the different religions are like different languages that are essentially trying to describe some kind of spiritual experience that pple have felt for eons? From that perspective isn't it absurd to screech that the word "love" is "true" but the word "amour" is a damn lie and must be smashed out of existence. (see part 5)

I don't have the 'big' answers but I have the nearly unique experience of being one of the few who have truly traveled to every single corner of the globe. Dad was a diplomat moved ev 3 years & my weird occupation makes me spend months in every corner of the world from China 2 Iraq 2 Argentina 2 Nepal 2 Egypt etc etc. (see part 2)

The early church and religions(christian, Islam, Jewish), have for over 2000 years,
pumped(brainwashed) their pagan originated myths to their flocks to control them.
They`ve done a pretty damn good job as there is no end to the number of people who will accept a delusion(god) for an afterlife in a mythical heaven.
There may be a creator but it certainly is not the present god delusion with it`s baggage of heaven, hell, satan, original sin the second coming etc.

Hey, I never said that I don't mock or criticize religion. However my whole series of 'sell me your religion' videos isn't what that's for. It's for communication and education. I read a lot on religion, but it's always nice to talk to someone who practices that particular faith.
