  • I need to find that book. I just ordered a quality sublingual so I'll try those, but need to check out my tests.

  • Great video! B-12 is a huge cause depression. I always urge people to take B-12 before they even consider taking anti-depressant perscription drugs. I agree with you that either the injections or a sublingual form are best. Make certain that it says methycobalimin on the label.

  • ok u answered my question about sublinguials.. i should do b12 injections again

  • what do you think of the spray type?

  • A B12-deficient scrawny male, telling us we don't need B12 and that INJECTONS ARE OK... Can anyone not see this moron is a MORON!?

  • why did you start injecting your b12? weren't tablets enough?? I'm thinking 'bout oral supplementation, but I'm afraid the absortion is very low because I have low b12 levels. What would you recommend me? PLEASE ANSWER

  • b12 deficiency is all about helicobacter pylori ,if you are infected you don't have stomach acid what you need for absorb the b12. test yourself

  • @Avrilxxxmac Chew the meat better, chewing is the starting process of digestion. If you don't chew enough it's hard for it to be absorbed.

  • You can get vitamin b12 from fermented foods. Lou Corona doesn't need to get b12 shots.

  • THink of it this way How do they test b12? do they draw blood from you? So you inject b12 directly into your blood and so now the test proves you put it in your blood?

  • Forget about B12. Wake up. If you understand german new medicine (germannewmedicine.ca) you will realize that ALL the B12-theories are nothing but theories. Our body is a master. Everything has a purpose. Our body decides how much B12 or whatever vitamins he needs and can produce it. It is because of the narowmindedness of our established science that leads to interpretations which are not getting the bigger picture. Educate yourself. There are people who just live on light! Forget about B12.

  • @aikido19861986 People that live on light? Really? Hey, Ive got a plan of setting up a chain of raw vegan cafes on pluto and mars. Problem is that I need a few million $..Can you help? If so, send me a check and I will pay you back in the next life when we are kicking back and enjoying some moon rays on Jupiter.. ;)

  • @aikido19861986 I don't know about "people living on light" thing, but I agree with you about B12. The fact is, our bodies make B12 in the large intestine and then uses it. The only reason someone may need to take B12 injections/supplements is if their body doesnt produce enough intrinsic factor.

  • @MrJaketthomas I believe you should mind your own business

  • Heya Harley - What would be your advice for B12 for a vegan toddler? Unvaccinated, still breastfed but my wife may also be low. Thanks mate

  • @DaveJales Get a copy of the book I mention in this vid 'Could it be b12?'. Look up on the net about b12 and toddlers. I have no direct experience like I do with adults.

Its not about the diet, its about the persons digestive ability, stress level, pollution level, past health history etc. The good thing about being vegan is that we are conditioned to look after our b12 stores and other people arent. So we get tested and act where meat eaters remain ignorant and suffer b12 deficiencies.

  • I always think of spirulina and chlorella when I think of B12, but it may well be true that the stuff in spirulina isn't bioavailable, but in chlorella it probably is.

Is the chlorella b12 not bioavailable either? o.O

  • One question I have for you, D.R. Where do you get your iodine from on a raw vegan diet? I use a little iodized salt here and there and started taking supplement recently, "New Chapter Every Man One Daily," which contains 50% of the RDA for iodine. Is it something you even worry about? I've never heard you mention this in a video, but I do remember hearing you say you don't eat salt, if I'm not mistaken. I'd like to hear your opinion if you don't mind. Thanks again.

  • I gave up all meat, fish, eggs and dairy 11 years ago; gave up red meat 18 years ago. I have never had a b12 injection, though I have taken supplements on occasion, as well as eaten b12 fortified foods (soy/rice/almond milk, tempeh, clif bars, etc.). I have never been tested, but I've never had any reason to think I was b12 deficient. I have an open mind, and am going to give b12 injections a try just to see if I feel any different. Thanks for another informative video, D.R.

  • "In summary, in a randomized, controlled trial, daily oral doses of cyanocobalamin were found equally effective in producing hematologic and neurologic responses as a standard parenteral (injected) regimen in patients with cobalamin deficiency and also resulted in clearly superior serum cobalamin levels after treatment.

  • from Effective Treatment of Cobalamin Deficiency With Oral Cobalamin Antoinette M. Kuzminski, Eric J. Del Giacco, Robert H. Allen, Sally P. Stabler, and John Lindenbaum

  • Hey Harley, can you please let me know what specific brand of B12 shot you recommend?

  • Gresat video. Bought the book you referenced. How could one purchase B-12 injections in the U.S.A. without a perscription or having to go to the greater expense of purchasing out of the country, for instance, in Canada? Also my Dr. is ordering a serum B-12 but won't go for the other two confirming tests. I don't know if she is aware of them or thinks insurance won't cover them.

  • Thanks for this video!!!

  • YOU MAY HAVE SAVED MY LIFE WITH YOUR B12 VIDEO. Am now taking massive doses for last few days - will take smaller doses progressively. I have been close to death in last year. BLESS YOU BEYOND BELIEF.

PS: No doctor caught this. No one even suspected... Also, have done tons of reading about this. Permanent neurological damage can result...

  • Hey Harley:0) I was wondering if you had any experience with the b12 patch and if so what would be your opinion of them? Cheers mate..

  • So basically what I hear is there is no natural way to get the required B12 levels? So I question the recommended range of required B12 levels - what are your thoughts?

I'm sincerely neutral on the whole thing, but a little confused on the theory why we can eat right and live a healthy lifestyle and then still need to inject a supplement?

  • Harley, I dont get why you have to get injections. You eat so healthy and follow such a healthy lifestyle. Is it natural for humans to be B12 deficient? Are your B12 counts low normally and thats why you get the injections? Or are your B12 counts good and you want to just be on the safe side incase they drop?

  • i'm confused, is this a joke. b12 confuses me.

  • Sea vegetables, especially seaweed, have naturally occurring b12. Is B12 deficiency really that bad and common? I mean do we really need to start injecting our selves with needles and crap?

  • Harley please can you make a video including a written list of which blood tests you'd recommend

  • i did a little research and supposedly b12 def is rare, since we can store it in our bodies for decades, recycle it, and only a tiny fraction comes out in our waste. so my question is where is this 40% coming from (regardless of dietary choice)?

  • Just eat Marmite, it's loaded with it

  • I see this as just another example of people taking health into their own hands. The medical establishment has us convinced that only "they" know what is best for us. Only a "qualified" medical professional should administer injections. Complete BS. Hundreds of thousands of people give themselves insulin injections everyday. Anyone can learn how to do it. Thank you Harley for another insightful video. ;))

  • unbelieveable that people rather inject themselves with drugs (vitamins) than eating some animal products... idiots keep eating all that sugar

  • @rui27marne i'd rather inject myself with needles than with death

  • What do you think about B12 patches vs injections?

  • acidic acid isnt good

  • Dear Durianrideer, I admire u, but am sceptical to putting B12-chemicals from pharmacy into the body, remember the WHO etc is representing NWO etc

Better to eat a peace of raw organic cheese as B12 than those injections for sure!

    Love from whitetimehealing . net

  • @AntiMilitary Hey champ, how come ALL my raw meat eater friends have clinical b12 deficiencies? I thought eating raw animal products 'fixed that'. ;) BTW, you would need to eat around a POUND of cheese a day to get enough b12 for an active adult ASSUMING that your body can absorb it and ASSUMING that the light and heat didnt destroy the b12 and ASSUMING there was enough cobalt in the soil. ;)

Id also ASSume that one eating cheese would have a FAT ASS pretty quick. :)

  • Harley, give the name of the injectable b12 you used. Thx

  • People eat feces!?

  • hey harley do you inject b12 on your thigh? or do you do it

  • Methyl B12 - I've read that this is the preferred form. I'd like to hear opinions please. Thanks.

  • Harley, is it possible (or likely) to get too much B12?

  • Hi Harley, the more of your videos I watch the more I like what your saying. Something I heard you say got my attention. How did you overcome your fear of needles. I freak out ever since I was a kid. Even though I know the pain isn't that great I go mental crazy when I have to get a needle. So I'm curious how did you overcome that? Thanks Harley, do you ever get to Vietnam?

  • @TrevorJNoyes I just 'got over it!'. lol!

Like anything in life, you gotta talk yourself thru it. Man up and charge on. :) Its just a little needle anyways! Im not asking people to wrestle crocodiles! lol!

I prefer Thailand. Better fruit culture.

  • @durianriders thanks for getting back to me. Yes I would think Thailand has a better fruit culture. Here I feel like I'm the only person in the whole country getting informed about this stuff. Thanks again.

  • @TrevorJNoyes I overcame my fear of injections by telling myself to relax and visualise something/someone nice or funny. Also by consciously trying to make the nurse's job as pleasant as possible by showing how relaxed I was as opposed to being upset. I hope this might help.

  • Thank you for this video that answered a lot of questions that I had about the cost. I hope in the US the cost is similar. If so, I will call up my friend who is a doctor and call it in. It would be really cool if it was OTC like in Aus

  • I like might be cheaper better than definitely will be expensive. I spend 20 bucks for a year for 1 a day high RDA tablets and get a blood test once a year. If my levels go down than I will get the injections.

  • btw. thanks for the info. :)

  • Very helpful. Thanks mate.

  • would have been helpful if you commented on where the B12 level standards are coming from or chosen....

  • Have you tried B12 patches? I have a friend who has been vegan / raw vegan for 35 years. He measured B12 blood absorption of sublinguals, pills, injections and patches. He found that the patches actually had the best absorption, even better than the injections. It's the Healthy Habits B12 patch, google it.

  • @IronCladBen Thanks mate!

  • Thanks mate!

  • Thats the name of the study... You can read the abstract at the national institutes of Health's library site!

Check this out Harley, any thoughts?

  • Harley I have watched most, if not all, of your youtube videos. I just wanted to say I think it is awesome that you just give out this information day in and day out, simply to help people out. You have helped me in a number of ways. Don't ever stop!

  • @durianriders Acai Berry, contains TONS of B12 you should look into it bro.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy b12 is a bacteria & not found in any food naturally - see my comment below

  • @lovescartoons The B12 inAcai Berry comes in the form of Colbalt, I'm guessing what you've sited was written before the properties of Acai Berry were discovered. There are other ways to get B12 in your system, even to generate it in your body, Komubcha Tea is one way, it's a probiotic that restores the colonic bacteria that create B12 (B12 is a by-product of these bacteria). Then of course there is Rejulalac, which has been used by an messianic Nazarene order known as the Essenes.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy yes!... so to say that acai contains tons of b12 is false... you can state that acai contains tons of elements that the body can use to produce b12 - that would have been a much better statement instead of creating a disinformative statement... i know about kombucha & rejuvelac, and don't forget kefir... these are fermented drinks that are made, they are not a whole food that contains b12 - same with fermented veg like sauerkraut (not the bought stuff unless it's 100% raw!)

  • @TheAmazingJimmy He's got " Intrinsic factor " problems. Whatever that is!!! Maybe tons of Acai Berry wont

    fix that for Harley.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy

How is that possible, when they are dried ... well unless you go find them in the nature raw ?

  • @Joormode Juice, you can also get Acai frozen pulp. I don't see why southern states in the U.S. can't try growing them in greenhouses honestly, they'd make a killn'.

  • Did the growth rate of your hair increase, decrease, or stay the same while eating normally for the past; how many years? Lastly, have you ever injected heroin?

  • cont'd... "B12 synthesis is known to occur naturally in the human small intestine (in the ileum), which is the primary site of B12 absorption. As long as gut bacteria have cobalt and certain other nutrients, they produce vitamin B12."

libaware (dot) economads (dot) com/b12issue (dot) php

this is the source where i got my quote from....

  • @lovescartoons Thanks mate.

  • "No foods naturally contain vitamin B12 - neither animal or plant foods. Vitamin B12 is a microbe - a bacteria - it is produced by microorganisms. Vitamin B12 is the only vitamin that contains a trace element - cobalt - which gives this vitamin its chemical name cobalamin - which is at the centre of its molecular structure. Humans and all vertebrates require cobalt, although it is assimilated only in the form of vitamin B12." cont'd...

  • @lovescartoons I dont thin you can call b12 bacteria, its just produced by bacteria.

  • @madderthanalex You REALLY need to pay attention when you watch this vid if your still asking a question like that. Forgive me if english isnt your first language or you are deaf.

  • @durianriders

Qn.- what is " intrinsic factor ". So what your saying is if I dont have any abnormal issues with my body then I can stay on a

fruitarian/vegan diet & get plenty of B12. Yes or no?

  • @durianriders appologies Harley. I'm new to allot of this.

  • @madderthanalex Cool. :) Read the book 'Could it be b12?' if you want to get up to date on b12 science.

  • @durianriders Thanks allot mate. I think many problems Ive experienced

for 23 yrs as a vegetarian may be solved. Dont ask why I dont know this already.

Will read the book. Thanks again.

  • @madderthanalex Dan supports taking b12 injections too btw :)

  • @TheRawTeen Thanks.

  • first, nice vid
