Ellen White never predicted Christ's coming. You are misreading the quote you are reading in the testimonies. First of all, Ellen White did not write one word in or before 1844. She had an experience in the millerite movement( not the sda church) in which those at the time expected the lord to come in 1844.In the quote that you are trying to use that says "our hopes now centered on the coming of the Lord in 1844" is a description the that experience of the millerite people prior to 1844.

Pause your video ans read the passage you have underlined as well as the rest of the paragraph. She is not predicting she is telling the story of what happened. @Bingolly1 Ellen White was only one of those who heard about William Miller's preachings about the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ on October 23, 1844 and she was not the one who predicted it. She was actually one of those who comforted those like her who were disappointed and told them to reconsider Miller's interpretations of Daniel's prophecy about the cleansing of the Heavenly sanctuary and not the earthly sanctuary. Miller thought that that cleansing was all about the 2nd coming of Jesus.

Ok lol, first Ellen White did not predict Christ return in 1844. William Miller, a baptist preacher did. And the protestant world believed in the message of the adventist church today way before ellen white, w/ exception of the sanctuary. Thats what makes 1844 significant. SDA is the last true protestant group left. Everyone always tries to attack ellen, but they can never go to the bible to prove any of the doctrine false.

If you read carefully the statements before and after where you highlighted one with basic reading and reasonong skills would clearly see that she is giving an account of the events surrounding the great dissapointment in 1844. She had not received a single vision yet and was just 16 years old. There was no denomination called Seventh-Day Adventist yet, since people from all denominations that believed in the second coming of Jesus were called "Adventists".
