  • never rush it dude!! lookin awesome! love the new SD70Ace from MTH!!

  • Cool! Thanks. you layout is awsome!

  • Does your layout have sidewalks in the town area?

  • @BNSF1213 Yup, you can see some of them (I made these) around the gas station and you can also see them where the "corner girl" is standing by the lamp post. They run on both sides of the streets.

  • Awsome video but Im confused on what type of locomotive that was at the very begining what was the model name for that loco?

  • @mdurdan That particular model is by Tower 55(no longer making plastic train models) and it's an ES44AC, quite common with the major railroad companies.

  • Great looking layout!!! 5*'s!

  • Thanks!!

  • looks really good... looking forward to see more progress in the future...)

  • 1 tip for the roads. Use one of those fine draftmans pens to simulate tar put into cracks in the road. Every little detail helps.

  • Great idea! Thanks!

  • Starting to look really nice. Love the river section. Do you make buildings as well as using the nice woodland sceinic ones?

  • Thanks! Yes, I do build some as well, I general bash them and tweek them to the way I want to look, not alot but I give them just the right touch to make them look better.

  • wow they look good can you do my roads!? lol nice buildings too

  • what to you make the roads out of?

  • Woodland Scenics "Smooth-It" It's part of their road system and is very easy to use.

  • scenery looks great, im building a 10 x 10 back here in aus. Its a US freelanced, its kind of hard to come by items though. Keep it up.

  • nice layout! Love that tower 55! sucks that mine broke!

  • Thanks! Those T55 are sweet aren't they.

  • im impressed, if you want, check out my vids. the layout was made by a 14 year old. I like your layout! Simply buetiful. if u check out my vids, srry about the voice quality, my old mic died so i bought a new one. how big is your layout?

  • same here im 14 i startd my layout when i was just 10. it started out as an 8x10 and grew to 16x14 or something like that... i still have plenty of work to do. currently iim working on a road that rins along a mountain. very senic and has many curves and dips. im actually doing a live feed soon from my website.. so check it out. i will have all of the information posted on my channel as soon as possible!

  • Thanks! I've spent alot of time on it. It's been a work in progress for over 3 years now but I'd say total time into it is about half that. It's 8'x13' currently and will be growing in a year or so.

  • ok i have a few suggestions for you layout with the railroad i would put an old set of railroad crossings at the place with a time of 2:04 i think it would look cool. another thing that might be cool to add is a drive in theater and a billboard advertising something like a hotel. but over all your layout looks amazing 5*

  • Thanks man! Very good idea with the crossings, I was planning on putting something of that sort there like a lighted crossing or something of that sort. Where that BNSF was sitting there will be a train station next to it at some point. I like the drive in theater idea, maybe I can fit that in the town.

  • Great job, u have a nice layout, the only thing that would make it better was if it was finished, lol, 5 stars and a fav

  • Thanks man!

  • LOL, you're little "corner girl". Classic. The layout is looking good, man! Thanks for the awesome update!

  • Thanks! LOL, ya she was supposed to be part of a camping/hiking group but she looked more like a street girl!

  • It looks really good, you should get the faller car system! One thing about the woodland scencis built ups are they're expensive but soooo nice. Good vid!
