@shuboy05 That's my only gripe with the game. Alec is a cheesy bullet sponge boss. Everything else in the game was great. I loved choosing stealth or rambo mode, I didn't mind the QTE fights, and I really enjoyed the updated plot. Also, Brosnan was a good Bond, but only in Goldeneye, all of the other movies he did were too cheesy. Thats why I actually enjoy Craig in this one as well.

@mewpsypokes This is ANYTHING but a knock-off, my friend. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a chance, and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you have tried it and don't like it, I honestly don't know what to tell you. I personally thought it to be an improvement. Watch the IGN review. They say the same thing.

@TheCrawdad11 I tried it, found it to be a huge dissappointment. Instead of actually trying to make GoldenEye, they just chose to make anoother bond game on the Call Of Duty (More like Cock Of Duty xD) engine.

You know, that right there is the reason many first-person shooters get shot (no pun intended) out of the sky by the public. Everybody always wants to compare them to Call of Duty. What do you want? To make an FPS that is completely independent of the Call of Duty series is impossible. Instead of saying "oh, they copied that from COD", maybe for once people could look at a game for what it is. If you legit didn't like the game that's your right, just don't judge it based on it's likeness to COD.

The battle with Trevelyan is so hard for me, mostly because I have barely any ammo at my checkpoint. So it's not long before I have to kill someone else and run out into the open and grab their weapon and reload it. Then it's not long after that that I'm killed. There's just too many guys.

trevelyan's health will not go down and then helicopters come and I have no where to hide inside or outside while my health regens and i die

@DolerChannel well, once the helicopter comes, stay in to hide, when you shoot Travelyan, keep a distance, so he doesn't immediately flee, but fights back. This will allow you to sweet spot him in the head. Once he starts talking, he will flee at low health. That's your que to go after him. Take the elevator on the top floor in the opposite direction as the windows. Once there, it is pretty easy. For just the heli, stay inside once it comes..

First of all, great GoldenEye playthrough. Second, have you been able to do this on classic difficulty as well? Third, why don't you get that blinding sunlight thing when you beat the last stage of protecting Natalya @ around 4:40? I got some weird yellow light at that part.

@StanZr first: Thanks, second: yes, I am planning on doing a 007 Classic walk through as well, third: because I was probably faster in eliminating those guards. There are a number of enemies you have to beat before Natalya moves on, it isn't timed. Fourth: Hope this clears things up a bit ;-)

@StanZr I got the game 2 days ago and played for about 4 hours in total now. Just got through World 2 (practice runs) and am going to record it either tonight or tomorrow. So it isn't my first playthrough, just the playthrough after practicing and knowing all the puzzle piece locations. I played a lot of DKC in the past on the SNES, so that might explain why it looks skilled (for now haha)

@Mahrla thanks, I can imagine so, even I lost some time, but I had to go hide for safety reasons. I got killed by the chopper a couple of times, and this was my best run so far, so I didn't want to waste it.
