Your work is inspiring. I've just got Lightwave, and 3ds m, will get maya in another month, and have resigned myself to no social life for the next few years while I work at this technology. Hey it's like learning a musical instr. Not fun at first, but great once you've got some proficiency.

@NelsonStJames contract ended at lucasfilm in December. When I was in the production side I was involved with transformers 2, star trek, terminator salvation, then as an artist I touched ironman 2 but dont have any shots in the final movie.

I'm a bit split wether to call this steampunk or not. Or, well, would I have to put a name on it I would say steampunk, but kind of low profiled such. Perhaps post-industrialistic steampunk?

Anyway, great job. It certainly could work as the setting for a videogame or animated movie.

I don't know if you've ever read Peridido Street Station but this reminds me of the city from that book especially the railways converging on a giant building and the blimps patrolling around. Nice job by the way. Are you trying to become an environment artist or a level designer?

I love you! This is a wonderful interpretation of steampunk! For me, the best part is that for such a gloomy place, it seems so hopeful, like a revolution's going to take place in one of those houses.
