FINDING OZ: How L. Frank Baum Discovered the Great American Story

There are some who believe that the Wizard of Oz is a political allegory and as a newspaper writer, L. Frank Baum was involved in the politics of the day. As far as the actual identify, I vote for either J. P. Morgan or William Jenning Bryan because OZ is the abbreviation for ounce and one of the political issues was whether or not the US would be on the Gold standard or Silver standard for backing currency.
